Help needed, newbe with XDA IIi ......

Hi all.
As said , Newbe with XDA IIi with either a dutch telfort sim and / or an Israel cellcom sim looking for a way to get it working with either or both
being a newbe means:
1: how do I find out the version of ROM
2: How do I find the imie #? (do I need some special software to be able to see / extract it?)
3: Im propably forgetting a lot of other questions...

Hia U made my day , well, at list my morning
Ive done the 1st steps after reading your instruction... I extracted the info and deleted the blanks... Im left with:
PH10C 0 C WWE E O2___001 1.10.00 0 0 1.00.00 WWE
Does that mean I have to upgrade before I can unlock the sim?
...which sim should I use? (Dutch Telford or Israeli Cellcom) (I am in IL but not sure if Cellcom works with O2)

Well, unlocking SIM is not yet available for XDAIIi.
We are working on a program that can do that.
You can also go to www.imei-check.com to pay for unlocking.

Thanks Happygoat , Ill be monitoring the forum for the appearance of the simlock prog for the XDA IIi , I wanst aware that it was not available....
..thats bad...means I cant use it as a phone (I got it from a friend in the UK without a sim...

..I looked at the site but I reckon its dodgy ...(they want photo ID ....) do u know anyone in Israel with the same device?

help me upgrade my rom

Hi to all, Actually I am newbie in pocket pc.
I have studied the wiki and have gotten familiar with the words and expressions and acronyms about pocket pc.
My ppc is p3300.
After studying the wiki. I understood I have to unlock CID and do hard spl
and after that I can upgrade the rom.
but as I said I am a newbie , I don't know how to do these steps .
I do appreciate if somebody tell me step by step how to do and how to upgrade my p3300 to this video :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3vW92WEUeg

I forgot to say that I have downloaded the Artemis Touch 4.02 Full with 4 sided cube and after doing the steps. my spl has been changed from 3.7 to 1.1.
nothing more.
can anybody make me understood about the basics and steps/

Choosing a HARD-SPL

Hello guys,
I have a couple of questions which i aint getting an answer to when searching the forums. (google didnt work eather) .
first i'am a total noob in flashing roms tho i do have great knowledge about computers / programming etc...
My configuration is :
MDA compact IV (which is a DIAMOND200)
IT is also cid locked and simlocked by T-mobile
the ROM is 1.93.xxx.x
The SPL is a 1.93
radio is a 1.00.00.25 (or somthing like that cant remember )
What i want ?
What i want is a ROM which is fast and has the looks of the real htc touch diamond. And i also want it signed by olinex.
What iam searching for ?
Iam searching for a 1.93 signed HARDSPL. The problem is that i managed to find one which is unsigned but when iam in RUU it says Iam upgrading
FROM: 1.93.xxx.x <-- this is my rom not my spl right ?
TO: 1.00.DIAMOND <--- LIKE WTF ? shouldnt it be 1.93 ?
So first step is to get the right HARDSPL installed correctly :/ And iam also worried my MDA compact IV will have problems when installing the hardspl :S (because of the DIAMOND200 tag)
Would anyone so kind answer my questions.

No, and manners cost nothing either .
The signed Hard SPL isn't the best choice. It limits the number of ROMs you can use, becase OliNex arn't (AFAIK) keeping up to date with signing. Use the un-signed Hard SPL.
As for the RUU, just ignore it, it's only showing you the version on the NBH file - this contains 1 or more NB files which is what's actual flashed to your phone.
What the RUU tell's you is pretty much irelevant (other than error codes).

help dopod M700 run only to DOS!

I have a dopod M700. it don't run into WIN (WM2005) when turn on or soft reset! i try hardreset (2-3 times) then it show "OK" but it not accept into WIN! it only run to DOS with parameter:
IPL 1.29.001
SPL 1.29.000
GSM 02.69.90
OS 1.29.00
i try run in BOOTLOADER is OK! now, i don't do anything ( uprom or somethings)
i download 1 ROM form HTC.COM: RUU_Artemis_DOPODASIA_WWE_LOVE_1.28.717.1_INFINEON gsm4.1.13.30_02.69.90_Cmp_Ship_R! but i see my mobile is 1.29 then i don't uprom!
Please! tell me "what do i do now?"
and :"how to unlock CID when mobile in BOOTLOADER mode? (NO ACTIVESYNC)

you should go to artemis upgrading and then ask again, and just a little tip: try and write a new text, use google translate and write in your native language underneath, maybe you are lucky and someone who speaks your language can answer you. good luck

I just got a blue angel and I cant find a way to upgrade it's windows.
