Guys please help, I got MDA Compact III and unlocked it so i am using now Vodafone, can anyone tell me how to connect to internet, how to change internet settings.
It is my first PDA ever so i am not so experinced

help with g1

i bought a g1 phone on ebay and got a unlock code from tmobile cause i'm using to the phone to travel but i cant get pass the google login screen, is there a way to bypass that or jailbreak the phone and use it some how? Can some one help please??

u need to sign in with gmail account.after that u folllow the jailbreak iunstructions given in the dream section and put any rom which doesnt need any google account for logging in.

thanks but i cant get pass the gmail loggin screen it says communication fail and try again later i've been trying now for several days and nothing. Is there a way to jailbreak it with out logging into gmail account. if it helps i have a unlock code from tmobile which i used and the phone said unlock successful.

how do i remove T-mobile from HTC Touch 2?

Hi all!! Please accept my apologies for my lack of HTC education I have recently bought the above mentioned phone to use with my VODAFONE sim. It is unlocked in so much as i can use it to make and recieve calls.....However( and this is the real annoyance for me!!!) As it is T-Mobile, i cannot use the internet, Email, weather.......or any other of its features which i believe is because ot boots up with the T-Mobile carrier logo's e.t.c. I would very much appreciate any help you can offer....??? Many thanks(the beers are on me for any help thats successful!!!) Peter.

you need to add the vodafone access points, install the cab that i have attach, and select your country and provider, the apps automatically will setup the access point for you, its network wizard from htc, after installling it, go to settings/coonnections/network wizard.

I used your Ticket system ...and didnt explain everything.

I just unlocked the phone, and installed custom ROM. New radio also, but SIM is not working...I know that I have to pay, but I am not having PayPal in my country (you can check it), neither any VISA.
I just get this phone from my uncle, and I wanted to use it in Sebia.

that unlock service is not working. I get no response at all. go to ebay, search for "unlock pro2" it's $10 there and you'll get answer the same day with a code.
for paypal you can register in another country. or not register at all. you don't need to be registered to send $. just use bank card with enabled online shopping (like visa card)

i was wondering if custom roms network unlock the htc desire as i am interested in buying one but it could be locked to a network i dont use. if a custom rom network unlocks i will buy it, if not then i will pass. please reply fast

no, a custom rom may remove operator branding and software but it will not unlock the phone to be used with any sim card. To do that you will need to purchase an unlock code from your network or a third party website, which typically costs between £15-25
oh and searching google would have given you your answer even faster, as a test, I asked google "will a custom rom unlock desire?" and had the answer returned within 0.18 seconds

Stuff like this should go in the Q&A section, also posting "please fast reply" is very annoying...

1. i googled it and it did tell me what u told me however i didnt know if there were other ways
2. i only asked for fast reply as i was on my way to a dealer before they shut and would have no network access on my phone as i was going to trade it in.
