Hi there
I've searched the forum and found out that my problem appears frequently but seems not to be solved
I have my SPV M650 with windows mobile 5
i set an alarm for desired hour eg 6am and the next day it goes of well
the next day i change this alarm to eg. 5.30 am
and i still goes off at 6am
or I switch it to 6.30 and then it goes on at 6 and 6.30
or i turn all alarms off and they still wake me up at the times they were set few days ago..
tried MemMaid and it shows that every alarm is saved for a couple of times, but removing them manually changes nothing
does anybody know a solution for my problem? (other than buying an alarm clock..)
cheers

Hi,
I have an alarm set for 6am each morning and whilst it goes off, it actually produces 2 alarms!
Is this a known bug, and if so any solutions?
Cheers,
AP.
Hi,
I am facing the same problem. I have to mute it every evening to avoid this unwated alarm clock!
I've seen this from time to time (along with the alarm going off over an hour late!), a soft reset usually does the trick.
Guys,
My BA (running on WM5) has the alarm 'stuck' at a very awkward hour.
The surprising thing is that this time, 4 am, is not set on the alarm settings. And no matter what I do, it still wakes me up at 4 am.
If I set the alarm to another time, it will still get off at 4, and at the other time.
How do I sort this out?
Thanks,
Celzo
I have got the similar problem, alarm set to 8.15 AM but ringing at 9.15 AM on XDA||s. Any help?
Hi, since one of the first days with my Desire HD I've used Alarm Clock Xtreme as my primary alarm clock.
All worked fine with stock ROM (2.2), it also worked fine on CM 7 (RC1, RC2, RC3) until I reached RC4. When on CM7 RC4 or later it sometimes does not ring at all, and sometimes it only snoozes one, two, three or four times and then dies.
I tried to install a previous version of the app without any success. I also did a complete wipe before installing the CM 7 Stable version.
My problem is that when (or shall I say if) the alarm rings (set to 06:00), I snooze it, then it's supposed to ring again in 2 minutes, sometimes it just doesn't. The app itself is still running, and in the notification list it says "Alarm (snoozed); Alarm is set for 06:02." Sometimes it passes this time without ringing again.
My settings are:
2 min snooze time
maximum 5 snoozes
after 5 snoozes I have to solve 5 medium difficult math problems to dismiss.
I almost never get to the solve math problems without the app quit working properly.
Any ideas? Anyone else having similar problems? Can I some how log the events to give you a better understanding?
At last, the most irritating thins is that most of the times when I try to replicate this problem being awake it works through the whole process, including the solve math problems.
This all started yesterday morning. I had my alarm set, woke up later than I needed to with a notification on the phone that said Alarm Turned Off After 10 Minutes, telling me the alarm had gone off for 10 minutes and was automatically turned off.
I thought it was weird so I did some digging and it turned out that NONE of my sounds were working. The volume was up, silent mode was off, but I was getting nothing whatsoever from the phone speaker. Even speaker phone wasn't working. Headphones worked fine. It seemed my speaker had blown.
Well, later in the day (as I was preparing to take it back to Verizon) it just randomly starts working again. All sounds now seem fine.
So I set my alarm this morning. And this time, it didn't even go off, at all! I woke up 5 minutes after it was supposed to go off, and when I unlocked my phone, THEN the alarm started going off. It's almost like it isn't coming our of deep sleep to sound the alarm.
Are these two issues related; the sound issue yesterday and the alarm issues both days? Has anyone else experienced this? It seems to be random...sometimes I can replicate it, other times I cannot.
There's another thread about this somewhere...try a search for "alarm". It's happened to me often enough that I can't rely on my Gnex as an alarm clock...I have to use my old SGS instead. I've also had loss of sound occasionally, but a reboot always fixes it.
Wish someone would figure out a solution, it's pretty annoying to have a bug like this in the alarm. Even the cheapest, crappiest dumbphone you can buy comes with a reliable alarm app, but my expensive smartphone does not? (and yes, I've tried other alarm apps besides the stock one...they all fail to go off intermittently.)
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA
Thanks for the input. I use my alarm daily and this is the first time I've had this issue.
As an aside (but perhaps related issue?), my gmail app has uninstalled itself and I can't get it reinstalled. Looks like it's time for a reflash.

Yes I would reflash before you miss a flight or the interview to your dream job!
One thing I miss about my old blackberry is the alarm. Put it in the cradle and the time would dim, all notifications would turn off and the alarm would fire every time, every when the battery had been drained and switched off. Pity everything else sucked...
I've yet to have a problem.
Maybe you're getting SOD's (or close-to) in the middle of the night and the phone is having trouble waking itself up?
Try adjusting your governor and turn your undervolts up if they're enabled.
I am, however, fairly OCD about my alarms...
I reboot my phone before opening the alarm app and ONLY the alarm app...
Make sure the alarm is enabled...
And turn the screen off.
I've done this since my OGDroid days.
I also have the trusty DX as a backup...set 10 minutes later; just in case.
Anyone else have this problem with their G7 ThinQ? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I checked the alarm before going to sleep and it even said the alarm would go off in 8 hours and 7 minutes, but then it doesn't go off. The alarm worked perfectly for over a year and only recently stopped working intermittently. I've double checked the days, the time, AM/PM, that the alarm is enabled, DND, etc. Everything is set correctly.
Is there a way to fix this?
Try bforce stoping and erasing the data and cache of the app .
If you're using the google clock app try updating it
