Hi everyone. I have recently acquired a Dell Axim X50 non vga pda. I'd like to upgrade it to WM6. Is there a kitchen available or ROM made for this device?

As far as I know, there is no kitchen availible for the X50. I am working on the WM5 aku 3.5 A03 rom for the X50(mid).

Nope, Dell havent released an update and probs wont. I have an X51 mid its annoying because there are X50v and X51v Roms on here but the x50v and x51v have VGA screens and Graphics cards lol

Is there some hardware reason why the x30 can or cannot be WM5 or WM6 upgraded ?
Is this file still available on RapidShare. RS won't let me download which makes me think it is gone. If it is gone, is there any chance of you putting it back up?

no its only for x50v.
What about his WM 5.0? And this is probably off the topic but I've downloaded the A02 ROM update from Dell but do I have to purchase Windows Mobile 5.0?
no wm5 comes in the A02 rom. maybe later someone will make a wm6 for x50
Just make sure is for x50
Hmm, I downloaded and installed the A02 ROM from Dell and it shows im running ROM Version A02 (01050500) but it still says im runnning WM 2003 SE.

The ROM from htcgeeks is great. Uses a ton of RAM though, fyi.

Lenny is working on L15. there are ways to lower ram use in L14
i have a x51v with wm 6.1, but i think that the system isn't good
i must put 6.5 now or wait by version l15 of lenny

There is different WM6.5 roms over chinese forums, but not in WWE.
