I have a phone, i-830 with WM2003, and I wondering if xdadev-unlocker v1. can unlock it, or I need some higher version or some other tool?

I have just purchased a used Artemis which was supposed to be unlocked but unfortunately is not. Is there a way to get it unlocked for free or close too free? Looking for a cheap solution.

Not expirienced enough to know the difference. It has got windows mobile 6.1 on it so i guess it is cid unlocked and i just need to sim unlock it.

Like others new Threads...and newbies...read some posts on XDA before asking.
Answer: it is actually not possible to SIM unlock HTC Artemis, P3300 from the operator you buy it.
1° there are some links on the web where you can buy an unlock code for SIM unlocking P3300.
2° Ask your operator if it is possible to give you the unlock code.
3° If you got some skills on programming this device, help community to find an unlock sequence for it.
I hope this answer will be for you and any futur (in two days) questions about that very usefull.

No, and i think noone will now bother with unlocking wfs since bootloader is unlocked, roms can be flashed... thats what developers wanted...
try htcdev bootunlocker
you can then root your mobile
change rom
and everything
have s-on
stilll i have cwm , cm7.2 and having fun ..
go to htc dev go to bootloader and follow the simple instructions and you will have your device unlocked

Rooting is never safe and has its risks but if you follow the instructions well then you will be OK! The first time I rooted I only had to do it once and it worked so it's possible.
If you're just looking to get your phone unlocked to all carriers there are SIM unlock tools available for free. But if you want to pay it doesn't cost more than $10 US.
I downloaded the Ominus softeware to unlock my bootloader for free. I just don;t understand the instrutions. Can anyone give me a little help on how to do this. It is only free for Till April9th...tomorrow.

This method worked for me.
If your phone is already rooted it is really simple. I can also advise to use the Hex editor mentioned in the post XVI32 is freeware and works good. Sometimes some hex editors have a different searching engine and then the advice in the post wouldn't work.

Hello. I updated my software from the meniu with the original samsung firemware of my gio and at final I got my sim locked. I tried installing cyanogen mod and many other android, but still the same thing->sim locked... I extracted the bml5, but I can't find the code.
