I have been looking around the net at windows mobile 6.1 reviews and the screen shots that I see look great but the ROMs on here dont look any different to Windows Mobile 6 why is that and is there any point in me upgrading to 6.1 from the t-mobile uk WM6.0 official ROM ???
Whats the benefit and is the fact that 6.1 looks the same as 6.0 an illusion ???
You didn't look so good

Sounded to good to be true: WinMobile fullscreen on your XP/Vista, with Celio Mobile Viewer, with a number of HTC devices supported. Ok, HD not listed, but from experience we know that this does not always mean the end.
Installed the driver cab and desktop application, the cab reset my HD, and...HD would only show bootscreen and no longer load WM 6.5 (Deuk V7). Ok, no big deal, battery out, hard reset, restore, back to MyMobiler for HD on the PC desktop.
But you, after reading this post, dont have to fall into the same trap. But maybe it runs under WM 6.1, wanna test?
Promising application though - if they work out HD-compatibility, probably also WM 6.5.

HD with latest 5/1 build now appears on beta list, under WM 6.1
Same thing happened to me with my Titan and WM6.5
and dummy me...they came out with a new build which I tried AGAIN & had the same experience.
HTC Titan WM6.5 & Celio Redfly MobileViewer are not curently compatible as of 5/5/09
Any roumors about real Windows Mobile 6.5 on HTC Exca?
No there is no official WM6.5 to be released... Same goes for many phones with the same lifespan... Not forgetting there isn't even an official 6.1 for Excalibur...
Hi all.
I have upgraded successfully my HTC Snap with the Window Mobile 6.5 ROM available on the HTC web site. The weird thing is that I have Office Mobile 6.1 on it. Is this normal ? Shouldn't I have Office Mobile 6.5 ? This is annoying to me because the Snap is non-touch phone, and copy/paste feature is only available on Word Mobile 6.5. Thanks for any feedback on this.
Does someone have the cab of the original calculator of mobile win 6.5? Thanks.
