Help Audio manager crashing - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

fresh rom austin clean loaded "2Austin_3625022_ATT_Clean" htc home customizer google maps mobile and a few other things all to my 2gb sd memory and it says it out of memory and crashes even after a reinstall????
Any ideas????

in main 25 mb free for programs 45 free for storage

will still play music with wmp so i think it must be audio man i''l uninstall and reinstall it to device this time see it it helps or fixes

seems that the file got corrupted while being downloaded by htc home customizer used another file worked fine.

again with the crashing
only does it when playing from all files any ideas

again with the crashing
ok its only when
playing files from all files. It completely locks and get a low memory warning any fixes for this
and I have searched with google and the advanced search in here can find the problem but no solution.
update
tried adding same songs to a play list still crashes
can only play single songs
this all worked on this rom before im stumped

found it finally
It wasnt connected to a search for the audio manager but I found it searching for sd card issues.
Just had to delete the MSMETADATA and WMDRM folders on the storage card and it works now. Stupid hidden files grrrrr.

mine are in the voices folder below the navigator folder
I can't quite remember if I installed them there or
in a folder called "My Voices" created on the root of the drive

Hi lancsuk,
In my case the voices folder is in the root of the memory card. It is working just fine. Do you have .chk and .vif files by the same name in voices folder?
rgds
astrell
You dont share with us which package you have. So maybe you use the wrong voices. Try these, multilanguage: http://rapidshare.com/files/21184949/TomTom_original_voices.rar
Copy to Voices folder, usually on memory card root
thanks guys but i found my problem but maybe im bigger fool telling you wat it was . anyway i had caught the mute button
My TomTom 7 defaults to Mute everytime I load it

HTC music player doesn't work (AudioManager_eng.exe error)

Hello,
Today I don't don't what happened to my music player. It can search and find all song but after play the first one it stop and I can't change the music. play button doesn't work neither.
The music player totally disable and only Library and Menu icon work.
I also hard reset my device but nothing change.
I should mention after each hard reset I get AudioManager_eng.exe error.
I also delete Audiomanager_eng.vol and reset my device the get the error again
please soem body help.
Hey, I've got a similar problem but don't get an error message.
When I did experiment in trying to get it going again I replaced audiomanager.exe with a duplicate it gave an error. I gave a hard reset and the rom re-installed with no error msg on audio manager but still loss of functionality.
I am beginning to think it may be a problem with memory card so will try tonight to move a few mp3s to device memory and remove the sd, then try again.
Hey ho.
Problem solved for me, reason:
A single dodgy MP3 file.
I deleted a folder (within a group of similar) and it refused to go using Total Commander. There was only one MP3 left in the folder, I took out my SD card, plugged into my laptop and deleted it directly from the card.
I then re-inserted the card to my TP2, updated WindowsMedia library
I then did a soft reset
I then went to TF3d music tab and viola! All now working.
Might be nothing wrong with the file, but the TP2 didn't like it! Hope this helps.
JSM1970
The problem is solved.
I didn't any mp3 just go to registery:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\AudioManager_Eng\Config\device_scan_path_path and path0
for path set it where you copy your music and path0 set to \music in your device memory.
delete Audiomanager_eng.vol do a soft reset.
that's all.
I did it !!!
Hello guys ,like all of you i am a Htc fan and i had the same problem on my touch diamond...After many tryes i did solved this problem for me.
Try this and it should work and please post a reply if it works for you too
1-Go to youre music folder (path with all the music) and delete all the songs bigger than 10,5 Mb.
2-Go in device memory "Application Data"->"Htc"->"AudioManager_Eng" and there you will find a folder called "Playlists" and a file "AudioManager_Eng.vol"
3-Delete this folder "Playlists" ,and rename "AudioManager_Eng.vol" as you wish ,Eg. "asdfdasd".
4-Reboot your device and the player sohould be fine after a long seach for music.
5-For all the operation i ussed TotalCommander.
I hope it will work for all of you.

First off, this thread is over a year old. The final relevant post was one stating that the problem was fixed.
Secondly, this thread is for the Rhodium, not the Diamond. Please don't resurrect old threads for no reason.

Troubles with CM12.1 (USB mode and video play)

Hello guys, this is my first post so if there's something wrong I apologize.
Well, I installed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...cyanogenmod-12-alpha-1-n7100-t2949644/page785 following the flash instructions. Everything was working fine, till now.
First, when I connect my phone on my computer, it doesn't show every file I have. This started like half an hour ago (I installed the rom yesterday).
If connected as Camera, it only shows internal storage. If connected as media device, it shows internal and sd, but on sd just show 2 folders (out of 10).
In file manager (on cellphone), I can see everything.
I didn't change anything that could cause this. I already tried cleaning data of media storage, rebooting, unmounting and mounting sd, nothing worked.
Second, when I was using stock rom, I used MX player and could see some videos that are on my sd. Now with CM12.1, there are some that I can't. It says HW decoder is not supported, and in SW mode it hasn't audio. Is there some incompatibility known with some video formats?
Another thing is that Google play services keeps stopping, but that doesn't really bothers me
Can somebody tell me something to do?
Thanks

refreshing samsung music player

Sorry guys if this has been asked.. Any idea to make samsung music player update its music list if we just copy new songs to folder ?
Thanks
Go to Settings, Applications, show system apps, find Media Storage, go to its storage memory used and clear all data.
Reboot the phone and let it rebuild the media list.
So how do you prevent it from happening again? Is there the right way of copying mp3 files so the system will add it properly to the media database?
I'm facing now the same issue ?
Found the solution.. just add music files to internal memory not the sd card now it will appear in Samsung music.. u can move them later to sd card and will work normally
Still having this problem on android 11.
