Can anyone help me in finding a ROM upgrade for my XDA orbit (O2 UK) which is look alike to iPhone (or in other words touch flow) I have tried few ROM upgrade like Artemis_Touch_3.01 but the upgrade is failing with "File corrupted" error message. My XDA currently running on WM6 (windows mobile 6).

juz got my first PDA phone which is an O2 XDA IIs... so i am kind of new to the world of pda!! hehe... aniwae ... the XDA IIs comes with the wm 2003 and i hate it!!! could anione tell me if my phone can be upgraded to Wm 2005 or 2006??? and how to do it??? thks alot!!!!
Hey! I have O2 XDA 2s and i updated it to WM6, and it works perfectly, if not better, heres the guide on here i used,

it SHOULD upgrade.
but first, read up and check your fone info etc.
follow the instructions and you should be fine.....i managed my first upgrade with no real problems and that was the blue angel from 2003 to WM6

Expanding the Storage memory (merge ExtROM with storage)
Have followed Wiki Wizard to Update ROM from WM2003SE to WM6, but not exactly understand Pros & Cons of Expanding the Storage memory (merge ExtROM with storage) Please help clarification and:
Should I expand the storage memory as mentioned in Wiki, Pros & Cons?
How many MBs will be lost if I decide not to expand the storage memory?
I was able to upgrade my XDA IIs using rickywyatt's rom (thanks a bunch) i now have WM6.1 all is working fine although i'm still trying to learn how to tweak my registry and make my BT-OBEX working again.... I'm also using Point UI 1.5a. I even got Pocket Live messenger and Office Mobile. I suggest using the wikis and the tuts everybody hands out so that you can really make your BA/XDA IIs a blast!

I've just bought an XDA ORBIT. It runs on Windows Mobile 5 and has TOMTOM 6 installed.

I seems to read mixed messages out there. I've heard TomTom6 runs better on Windows 5?
I also have copilot 6.0 discs which I could use instead. Anyone have a preference between Tomtom6 and Copilot 6 on the xda orbit?

The XDA orbit seems to be the same as the HTC Artemis. Look in the Artemis specific forums for more information. WM6 is definitely a worthful upgrade and is completely safe provided you don't do anything stupid (read the intructions).

Hi does anyone know if it is possible to CID unlock the O2 Xda Zest.
I want to flash it with Iolite Rom on there (is that possible as the Xda zest is not manufactured by HTC).
Any comments much appreciated.

You won't be able to flash an HTC ROM to the O2 Xda Zest.
The Xda Zest is very similar to the Asus P565, and if ROMs for this start appearing, they may be flashable, but I doubt we'll know until someone tries it. Since I can't afford to replace my Zest, I don't think I'll be the first.
I agree, i was very close to flashing a htc rom on my zest to but stopped at the last minute with fear of bricking my device.
ive tried using alternative software like throttle launcher and htc diamond touch flo skin for spb mobile shell. but dont compare to the simplicity and operability of the original touch flo, does anyone know of any other alternatives?
I miss the Touch Flo it was really great in my opinion. Do you know whether you can install just the Touch Flo software without flashing a htc rom?

Hello. First of all i like your portal very much,
I have some problems running an app that i created in EVB3 on an HTC DIAMOND2 mobile. The same app runs fine on a QTEK S100.
HTC has windows mobile 6 platform.
Is there any solutions for my problem?
I always get error about EVB runtimes.
