pla someone im a newbie and i was wondering if anyone know how or if i can increase my device memory on my tmobile wing i love the phone but it has so little device memory compare to the mogul and cingular new ppc even wit an storage card i still lose device memory so anyone words of advice and wisdow greatly appreciated thanx in advance

Hi Guys, in the past I've tried putting WM5 on my phone and really wasn't too impressed, it was good but just didnt seem to get it right so I had to go back.
However WM5 has a very clever trick, Persistent Storage, this is something I would love to have on my PDA as now and again I get caught out and LOSE EVERYTHING. :x
My question is this... Is there a clever bod out there who can create a new ROM with WM5's storage properties for 2003SE?
A 2003SE ROM with Persistent Storage would solve all of my problems, does anyone know if it can be done?

hello everyone!
i am totally new to all this, just got my first smartphone (an "old" tmobile mdaIII). i palyed around with it a bit now, its really great! unfortuneatly i am running into several problems, eg. cannot connect to my wlan.
the thing is, i am a total noob with all this smartphones/handheld/pocketpc technics... so i figure, i will have to work my way thru. if you could help me a little, i would really be glad!
first of all, i would like to know if that phone could still have stored some kind of data on it? the battery was out for almost a year now, but maybe there are some files somewhere? how can i restore my phone to a totaly fresh status? is the hardwarereset the way to go?
of course i would like to update the software and stuff, i think the mda is still running windows 2003 and its rom is version GER 1.06 or something... (??)
do i have to get an USB2MDA cable for flashing roms and updating?
or can i do this via bluetooth or wifi?
if you have any other advice for a noob like me, i will gladly take it!
please dont be mad, if i have missed info on all this in the forums... i raed thru a lot now, but it is just getting darker and darker.....

hey guys i need help 4m u .. actually i wanna know that how can i recieve file directly to my memory card instead of my phone memory .. actually there is only 7mb left in my phone and when ever i recieve any big file through bluetooth it says memory low i tried alot of things but was not sucessful .. soo if any1 can help me plz rep me .. i am really sorry if i am sounding dumb .. bbie tc peace out !!!!!

First and foremost id like to thank all the contributers for their awesome help in regards to my issue
i recently installed tom tom onto my rhodium and realised that the bluetooth had dissapeared completely,as a noob this totally freaked me out so i uninstalled,deleted off memory card and hard reset my device.
i now havea strange issue in regards to my device, they are as follows:
1) the bluetooth is not being picked up by any devices within the area (i can send files to my laptop and other phone but not vise versa, when i search for my rhodium its not being seen!?)
2)when i now plug my rhodium into my lappy using the usb cable, when i go to "my computer" it doesnt see the unit as an external...im lost to why this has happened?
Anyone else had similar issues and any of you experienced users have any advice to help rectify this?

Try another hard reset. Did you remove your memory card from the device before proceeding with your last reset?
thanks for the advice,tried more than once with out any luck so called vodafone uk about the issue, would love to complain how bad the service was but cant as they were very helpfull and exchanged the unit the following day.
however now i have a brandnew unit which has exactly the same fault, the bluetooth is working fine apart from being discoverable?
not one to throw my hands up in despair i contacted HTC direct based in milton keynes, from what their tech guy told me its a common fault with this unit due to the bluetooth stach being specificly designed for this device, theyre working on the issue and will update asap.....so now what do i do?
anyone know of any bluetooth cabs i could try and install to rectify my issue.

I'm a french TP2 owner, and my SIM card is a 128Mo one, witch I can see when I put it in my Artemis. I used to store some documents and music on it.
But it isn't recognised as a storage card in my Rhodium, only as a normal SIM card.
Does anyone has experienced such a problem with his device or maybe someone has an advice for me?
Any help would be very appreciated!
