I know for a fact that it can be done, but I can't remember for the life of me how.
I think it is done via one of the menus available whilst composing an SMS.

just had a look... there is the option to turn it on and off, but not to reset the dictionary it uses....
There should be a button to reset the dic.

For WM5 there is a very good solution (does not work for WM6 though).

Reset predictive text, to factory defaults
To remove all of the predicitve text that has been added since you started using your phone.....
go to Settings .... Personal...... Input.... Word Completion.... then click "Clear Stored Entires" done.
Please note this is for wm6

The program 'DictionaryEditor' only seems to save settings if you delete the main dictionary, and then do a soft reset. I was amazed at the number of drunken words!
Hi this is the first time here, I've just bought a Touch Dual, can I know how to change the dictionary setting, there're a lot of words that poses no meaning is there a way to remove them?

Has anyone managed to get the To-Field autocomplete functionality in WM6 back to how it worked under WM5? Under WM5 it checked the name I typed into the To-Field against the Addressbook in "realtime" - under WM6 I now have to go into the Menu and select "Check Names".

I don't find anything negative in "Geek" and I would define myself as such but since I definitely did not mean to offend anyone and since It's sure that at least one person did take it that way I've changed my posting.

My autocomplete seems to work fine on WM6. I start typing the name and i get a list automatically pop up so i can just click it. I get this for SMS and email. MMS unfortunately i still have to click to and then add names manually but then i had to do that with WM5 anyway.

That's strange - for me it does not. Have you installed an extended ROM? Because I haven't and thats the only difference I can think of.

No problem mate! But still I will not call anyone Geek anymore since it's apparently not for everyone as positive as for me.
Nope, only cabs i've installed from an ext rom are the ones that get video calling working.
Pretty sure that it was working before then though......
With WMXL v.20 coming soon (no doubt you'll be upgrading) you may want to try a hard reset or perhaps a reflash to see if your problem persists.

No, I mean a real Today plugin. It shows as follows:
Missed calls: N
Where N represents a number of missed calls.
this may not be what you are looking for but o2 plus has a today plugin that will show the last call whether missed or dialed... it has a ton of good plugins in it.. if you want it just do a general search for o2 plus

Many thanks. I will give it a try tomorrow. My JasJam is being tested overnight with Exchange 2007 for seeing the new features supported with WM6
I use DKToday - It dhows your network and signal strength, the days missed calls, days talk time, months talk time and months txts sent as well as having a little icon that turns bluetooth on and off.
Takes up double the room of the new messages today plugin and shows more than you're after, but maybe worth a look if the other info is of interest.

its a decent app that has tons of different today plugins, even has so that you can schedule different ringer profiles... but glad it did the trick!

I've been using your CAB for a couple of days now, and I didn't even thank you...

found out they have even more apps, like messaging plus(treaded messaging that does not replace the original messaging!)
but they are very hard to get "patched"

This seems to be an earlier version of O2 Plus, the one a recall on the O2 Atom had options of modifying the font size and so on in the setup.

To remove plug-ins don't you just go to "Start>Settings>today" then choose the "Items" tab and unselect the plug-in you want removed from the today screen.
If you want to remove the whole plug-in and it's program, just uninstall the program from the "remove programs" application. (under the "System" tab in settings)

one thing I didn't mentioned i am using C730..I guess it would be similar the previous model...but obviously it has been taken out.

I have an s630 and I have Accessibility under settings. The first option is font size. Odd that your Dopod isn't the same.
yeah the dopods do not have it...
when you change it under accessibilty, do you know which registry entry it changes? is it the one noted on this thread?

Hey u guys. On my prophet i have threaded SMS by the hand of SMS Mode. Although i installed it on my brand new prophet, it doesn't work, the messages are still in the normal way. Does anybody know how to put it threaded?

Can't help you with that, but did you try FingerKeyboard 2.1? (It's a sticky hre in the forum). I think you'll like it.

What language do you use?

First you have to install Fingerkeyboard 2.1, select English language and then you install CAB from Yota, integrated to Touch HD.

hmm, just downloaded it and installed it, and while it does look really spiffy, the file structure seems to indicate that this is just a version of FingerKeyboard?
First of all, there's a "fingerkeybd.dll" in the YotaKeybd installation directory. Then there's the "skins" directory, along with a bunch of skin files named in the same format as FingerKeyboard.
Finally, it conflicts with FingerKeyboard after installation and soft reset such that I had to uninstall and reinstall FingerKeyboard again
I hope this was licensed properly from Rozenthal and Exidler....
