I have a locked CID P3300, and today I could upgrade to wm6 using a great post in these forums, but when I installed TomTom6 and selected Internal GPS, TomTom indicates that no GPS was found, when I upgraded my device radio and ext rom couldn't be upgrade due upgrade restrictions, maybe this files doesn't upgrade are desabling my Internal GPS?

Try to select in TomTom: the other NMEA GPS reciever.
At baudrate 4800 and on COM 4 TomTom is working great for me.

hi there strangely enoough I have the same problem GPS does not work anymore.. to make it even worse I have flashed a T-Mobile WM5 ROM back and NO GPS and before I had GPS with this ROM, I tried HTC ROM, T-Mobile, DOPOD AND with all NO GPS! this is very weird!
Pocha can you try to flash a WM5 rom back an tell us if your GPS worked again?

What ROM are you using?
At this moment I'm downgrading to wm5 I hope in 15 mins all process finished in good way... then I will test TomTom while I crossing my fingers...

Ok I hope yours will work again after the WM5 downgrade! mine did not unfortunatly! but it can also be bad luck and my chip just did and it has nothing to do with upgrading..

I had some trouble with the rom also, GPS, WIFI..
I have a Dutch MDA III C originaly..
I got everything working by flashing is like so:
WM5 UK tmo -> WM6 O2 German. Stop at screen settings at first run of german rom -> Run WWE rom, complete install. -> Install Cert_SPCS and EnableRapi TO Internal storage, run Dutch WM6 rom..
Now got WIFI and GPS working..
Any other way of flashing get me stuck at boot or without GPS, WIFI or BT..
Camera works fine, speed is ok.. Seems faster then WM5.. But time will tell..
Thumbs up to the the maker of WWE and Dutch rom..

I have a MDA Compact III to, but the strange thing is that when I install the UK T-mobile rom and then try Tomtom it still does not detect a GPS device as it used to do! it always worked on the T-mobile rom and now all of a sudden it stopped working..
Downgrade finished right, now I have again wm5 and my TomTom works fine again, uffff !!!
I reviewed GPS Settings:
GPS program port: COM4
GPS hardware port: (None) Baud rate: 4800
Yes Manage GPS automatically.
This weekend I will try again to upgrade to wm6, and I will use this settings to check if GPS works fine...

Radio version: 02.67.90

I used HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP to do the downgrade
I have the same problem, my GPS doesn't work any more, with NO GPS app! I have a German HTC and flashed the German O2 image. Downgrading is kinda difficult, didn't work. Does anyone have a German WM5 Rom? I'd rather put the old one back on there until a working GPS enabled version is out.

Wierd, do you have the original Tomtom shiped with the HTC?? I have a install cd from t-mobile, works fine if I flash from art_tmouk_11311001_024990_wwe_ship to German O2 to Dutch custom.. Any other way of flashing then wifi, BT and GPS don't work on my device..
Did you installed some GPS app such us GPS viewer, or a navigation program such us TomTom?, because in WM6 Dutch Rom by bepe you will find in system sheet an icon called External GPS, there try to use the settings that I wrote in last post, and then use some GPS program to verify if GPS works or not...

My GPS is working after a soft reset, I think I messed up something with the ports, I use GPS Gate. Now everything is ok!!!
I have upgraded my HTC P3300 CID-Locked to WM6 and GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth are all working nicely. I am using iGO GPS application as well as several others.
Please tell us, wich wm6 did you used?, when I upgraded my HTC-P3300, I used WM6 Rom by bepe, but since my HTC is CID-Locked I only could upgrade OS using a post in these forums which talk about that... btw this weekend I will try again to upgrade to wm6 and then I will use GPS settings that I post before, and this time I will install those CAB (rapi and other CAB file which appears in procedure)

i have try to update my HTC P3600 with the oficial D810 WM6 rom!!!
result: i brick my phone!!! the rom update has stopped on 35%, and the PDA stop responding.
just recover it and go back to old ROM!
i will do it!!!

Hi, I upgrade to official ROM and any problems occurs, but I prefer PDAVIET Rom, then I downgrade the ROM and upgrade Radio to 1.46.30.11 and have all so far so good!
I hated everything about this ROM including the constant freezing of my Trinity. After 2 days I went back to AXEL's ROM and haven't looked back.
Updated yesterday morning with Dopod WM6 ANZ Rom and radio 1.46.30.11, and for me, it's paradize now...

I had problems with data connection with the ANZ Rom and Radio 1.46.30.11. Keeps disconnecting from the network Edge/HSDPA--could not use PIE or download email. However, with the SEA Rom and Radio 1.46.00.11 I had no problem. I think it's a Radio issue, at least for me on the USA Cingular/ATT network.

I have the new aussie rom and the new radio rom 1.46.30.11 and it works perfect really fast and stable everything works...i am happy with it...
For those who successfully upgraded their P3600 to WM6, what technique did you use?
I tried doing a straight flash with ANZ ROM and was not successful. During the upgrade, the process stopped at 28%--similar to what some people have encounted. I got a screen with the new Bootloader 3.03.0000. In order for me to get out of that, I reflashed with a previous cooked ROM. It didn't flash through, but it did reset my Trinity.
While my Trinity is not BRANDED, I found that using the "HTC Trinity SIM CID Unlock" allowed me to successfully flash to the new ROM. I entered the device into the previous bootloader version 1.07.0000 prior to flashing.
As I've mentioned before, I had trouble with the radio version 1.46.30.11 with USA Cingular/ATT. I ended up using the SEA ROM with radio version 1.46.00.11 to flash the second time around.

Last night (14/7), I have upgrade my D810. No problem. According to the Guide, don't forget to take out MiniSD, battery is charged at least 50%, etc. In general the softwares for WM5 (Microsoft reader, Pocket e-Sword, Kevtris, etc) are compatible with WM6. Bass sound is good. I like WM6.

generally worked fine for me. I think mUns TE was more stable, but the battery discharging was annoying.
However a few issues:
1) Password for the web connection (GPRS) has vanished once or twice
2) Seems to lose GPRS data conenction once in a while
3) Biggest issue- the DEVICE ID has changed. This has messed up my TomTom Traffic subscription and TomTom support want a letter to prove this happened. ffs.
4) I think the main memory leaks away....
I finally decided to give WM6 a try on my P3600 but installed AX3L's all-in-one v2.0.8.1 ROM. It works well on T-Mobile's USA's network and is easy to install.
if the original rom gets stuck, what i did was flash to the original WM5 then reflash to the WM6 version.
I upgrade my D810 to WM6 and it cannot receive phone call using China mobile SIM card, used to work for the previous ROM update.

I installed B&B PDAVIET 4.1 and although it is trully a great ROM, I cant receive any files via Bluetooth!
Has any one solved this issue?
I have problems to. Can't connect with my bluetooth carkit. The first time it works then he can't pair anymore. Someone same problem?

I own HTC TyTN. I've upgraded to the official HTC WM6 downloaded from your site. since then I cannot pair any device I have made by Globalsat.GPS BT-308 and Headset BTH-818. Before the upgrade it worked fine. It gives an error when trying to pair.Is there any way to fix this problem?

I have the EXACT same problem, but mine is a BT-338!
I was on Schaps 3.54 and just went to 4.0 lite and it keeps failing the passcode (0000)
Anyone have any ideas??

Just had the same problem with Schaps V4.0 Final
installed his new extended rom then did a hard reset - seems perfect now
Bit of a pain as you have to set everything back up again
Where can I find the extended rom. I've Schaps 3.57a and 4.00 also upgraded the radio to 1.50.00.00 but nothing seems to help.
Reinstall of the original rom from HTC fixed the problem!
Since I upgraded my HTC to WM 6.5 (o2 Germany provided some upgrade tool) bluetooth will not longer find my BH M300. Everything is configured well, what is the problem? Do I need some fix?

My BH M300 does connect well to WM6.5. Maybe there is a problem with the o2 rom? Did you flash a Stock HTC rom to check if it does work?

it is still stock ROM (or do you mean HTC=stock?), the tool provided bei o2 flashed ROM as well as upgraded Windows Mobile to version 6.5.
I don't know how to verify if bluetooth is working well since it finds other headset (e.g. Sony, but can't connect).
I think that the rom has corrupted the BT stack somehow.
I would recommend that you will try a WM6.5 HTC stock rom.
