HTC Camera Album - P3300, MDA Compact III ROM Development

I've intalled the HTC camera and it looks very nice.
The problem i have is that when i try to slide to the next picture often it will try to move to picture instead of sliding to the next picture. This is the same with rotating or zooming. You get the white square in the left upper corner.
Is there something i do wrong?

I got the same "bug", there probably somthing to do on registry HKLM/Software/HTC/HTCAlbum
HKLM/Software/HTC/HTCGesture
HKLM/Software/HTC/TouchScroll/HTCAlbumClass

QUESTION: windows today screen top & bot bars

When i choose a picture as a wallpaper, it onli appears in the middle of the screen. It doesnt appear on the top bar (the start menu area) or the bottom bar (near softkeys).
what i wanna do is make the picture fit the entire screen, or at least make the bars opaque-ish so i can see the picture. I think the pictures will look much much better that way. Is there any way to do this?

You can only do this with pictures sized 240x320, use photo shop or similar to resize smaller pics, or simpler way use the phone (if camera picture) held normally instead of the usual "Camera style" way taking pics vertically also make sure camera is on 2M setting (in cam view, three small setting boxes in centre/top, the middle box change to 2M)
Finally i dont think you can change taskbars to transparent/opaque unless you use theming software like wisbar. Correct me if i'm wrong others, as i am looking to change taskbar myself to opaque.
Hope this helps

Laggy HTC Album

Dear Community!
Like most of you I love flashing my device with the newest Roms every time.
They are all different, but I've with ever Rom the same problem, Lags in HTC Album
I mean the new HTC Album with the nice fingerslide effekt, this one which looks evertime like it is in landscape mode (So if i have my phone in portrait I have to slide up and down, in landscape I have to slide right and left...)
I is used in the new EnergyROM and Dutty roms etc... I think you know what I mean.
But every time I hold my device in Landscape mode, the sliding effekt is LAGGY.
In Portrait mode its Smoother than on Iphone *gg*
The next problem is. If I slide through the pictures, it doesn't mather how fast I slide, when I put my finger off the display, the picture slides with a standard speed to the next picture. So If i slide very fast, and put my finger away, the Picture "breaks" and slide on with a lower speed.
Is there any solution for this two problems? they are very annoying for me
Hope my descriptions were understandable
Greets
to fix this you have to remove the album entry from the g-sensors whitelist
located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/HTC/HTCSENSOR/Gsensor/Whitelist
softreset and you'll be fine
now the album slides smoothly in landscape!
easy fix!

[Q] Inverted FFC pictures?

I was testing out the FFC on my Telus Galaxy S II and when I take a picture with it, I see the animation and the picture go to the bottom left corner, and then the little preview of the picture becomes flipped. When I tap on the picture to view in the Gallery, the picture itself is mirrored.
Is anybody noticing this? Is there a setting to flip it back?
Thanks!
Lol. I noticed this also. It actually "corrects" the pick. I took a pic and the saved preview pick flipped. But I noticed I had writing in the background. It is fine in the flipped pic but in the main display it's backwards this the flip.

Not exactly sure how to fix this, if it's even possible to fix it. Haha.
I've noticed that every pic I take while holding the phone in portrait mode is sideways. I think Samsung intended for people to hold the phone sideways to take pics, which I find dumb.
That's really odd.. I wonder if there is some sort of photo software for the phone that can be used to flip them back?
You can rotate photos with the built in gallery app, if that's what you mean...

I know you can rotate them in the stock Gallery app, but I wonder if you can flip them on a horizontal axis, if you know what I mean. That way, an "inverted" photo could be flipped right side up.
It works ok, when it flips it corrects it, when using the front camera its like looking in the mirror, like your right hand looks like its ur left hand, but once you take the pic it flips it and fixes it

[Q] Cropping working on your One X?(solved)

I am trying to crop my photos but it does not give me the possibility to adjust the size of the crop. Only a square that I can move around.
Anyone else having same problem?
Seems you really have to hit the thin lines to be able to pull it.... would have been nice if it would have been a two-finger gesture inside the square. Or can apple patent that one? anyways...
Touch the edge of the square and you will see arrows appear, these allow you to set the cropping area
