Thanks goes to Schaps for building his great ROM, I just changed some things I don`t like and deleted/added some stuff, but all applications are present like in his Lite ROM.

BTW.. maybe you want to include it into your benchmarks ?
Have not had time to play with Schaps ROM yet. Does it and probably more relevently yours include all necessary RGUs for repackaging and cooking using Bepes package tool?

I am not sure.. did not test it yet.. Installing all my apps ATM..
But I think it is not fixed since I didn`t touch that, it should be identical to Schaps..

This is the 17745 build for Hermes.
I hacked the 3G icon by myself for not applying ugly skins, it only changes the big 3G square.

It should go in Base_Lang package, I couldn't get this dll working as module, that's why I added this file.
@schaps, your ROM is for Hermes standard version? because my actual ROM is Standard version, I dont run in Cingular version settings, my carrier is Yorn/Vodafone Portugal, can you say something please. Thanks, Merci d'avance

In the next release i dont put the voice speed for mor Space.
Its nice not to have voice speed dial mainly because most people have a lot of contacts and it just takes too long to try and voice train anything over 20 contacts.
I look forward to trying the new version.

I think it is very good that people are cooking Roms. I have tried the latest Schaps and I ditched allready for an amatuer cook.
So please do not suggest people not to share their work. It would be the same as asking you not to voice your opinions on a forum.

I found the same problem in the ROM, I had with OS 3.60 (AMRT Orion v1.7)
I Used the same OEM package and forgot to fix the dll that is the problem.
Instal this CAB to fix the problem soft reset and its done.

Thanks for report. I will look deeper into it tomorrow. Is the rest working fine? If somebody got mms or office to work yet please provide me with the files so I can add it tomorrow, too. Else I am sure I will find a solution for it, too

The temporary Internet files, email and attachments are set to their defaults so there's no more asking why you have a Storage Card folder and your SD card is named Storage Card2.
If you want to change it to your SD card you can use Schap's Advanced Config

Btw, is anyone experiencing a problem where if you're listening to music, then you pick up a call, the music is silent until you either replug your handsfree, or reopen the music player?
I can be wrong but it seems to be a ROM related issue... any help will be appreciated.

i doubt it will be rom-related issue. depending on the music player, most of them such as core player, pocketplayer are able to resume your music after the call ended. this is also a changeable setting within the player itself.
Hi!
Please check also the BatteryStatus plugin with your rom. The version v3.2 worked correctly with BS, but v3.3 had problems with it, so that WkTask didn't work right anymore whenn BS was installed.

I'm happy to say that ArcSoftMMS 5 is now fully working. USSD Service is also working.
I still have to test the Bluetooth part, to see if it's working properly this time ( I just can't promise miracles when it comes to having A2DP and opening other apps at the same, because I'm not a developer or programmer...)
I checked very well my OEM part of the ROM, so I think it will be better this time in solving some old issues.

Like it, fast with lots of storage space.
Can't seem to access Comm Manager though. Bit of a problem when Hermes decides to use 3G internet connection and I can't seem to stop it. Didn't like my solution of soft reset, Decided to HR instead... Though that could be because I didn't install stock rom 1st.
Fix the Comm manager and put in a camera & it would be awesome...

Thanks for the work, its great to see another chef in the kitchen, they seem to thinning out as the newer models come out and the chefs move to these newer devices...
You can get access to Comm Manager by pushing comm button, or by shortcut in tools dir. Maybe installing unconventional wasn't such a great idea. Whats wrong with camera? It works for me.

I live in Thai but ever since using WWE Rom I can not read sms in Thai language... it appears like a square boxes.... so chef, can you cook rom to support real double byte

thats a similar thing i did with my titanium rom. didnt release that one but im considering it though when the official 6.5 build is released in about a month or so.

Yeah, I like clean ROM too. There will be more to choose from. I'm actually working on a version with couple more apps.

It is good to have another chef here for us that still having Hermes.
I got a sugestion to this ROM because it has being a request on other threads. The unlock slide on the top is dificult operate. It will be better ( for most users ) to have at the bottom. Other than that, it's a good ROM. Congrats!
