hi
what solution unlck this phone Htc Exca100
You need to be a bit more spcific. What did you do to your phone to get it to the state that it is currently.
What do you mean by brick? It will not even turn on, you get stuck on the boot scren, white screen only ETC...
no this mobil is locked in T-mobile usa
whats solution the unlock
Do a search, there's a thousand threads of people asking the same thing. Basically, either ask T-Mobile to unlock it for you, or pay $30.

There is no free carrier unlock (yet), the free unlocks you see here are to put different ROM's on the device. You will have to pay or talk to tmobile and get the unlock from them.
jockyw2001 can do this...

Hello All. I'm getting my 620 from t-mobile in like 2 days, and I had a quick question.
I know you can get it SIM/CID unlocked from that imei site that costs $40.
I know I can get the phone unlocked from T-mobile by calling them (been with them for 3 years)
Here's my question: Is the type of unlocking that I can get done from T-mobile only the SIM unlock, or does it do the CID unlock too?
If it's only the SIM unlock, does that imei unlock site have a discounted price for only CID unlocking (i searched around everywhere on the site and couldn't find anything on it)? If not, does anyone know any other site where i can get the phone CID unlocked for cheaper than $40.
Thanks in advance
Drew
CID or SIM Unlock
T-Mobile only provides a SIM unlock as far as I am aware. You will need to use imeicheck.co.uk to CID unlock. I have used them twice before, and it works well. However, I am with you - $40 is steep, and my Dash works with T-Mobile's own rom, so I am reluctant to spend the cash. I will be asking them if they would provide a cheaper service, and I am sure they would get loads more business, if thwy would. Let us know if you do ask also....
I sent them a email asking them if they provided a cheaper service since my Dash will only need the CID unlock.
They replied back saying it's all from one program so they could not provide it cheaper.
looks like I got the shaft from them, rofl.
we believe that if you put on the old bootloader you don't need to cid unlock. Try that.

if you are using a "dash" you will need to CID unlock and flash an old bootloader before you are able to flash another rom

I haven't bothered with the stuff on www.imei-check.com. I'm with T-Mobile USA, so I just called the customer care line and simply asked for my SIM unlock code. They gave it up for FREE. I don't know how BT works, but you could attempt to speak with one of their customer service reps.

Basically, it makes it possible for you to use other GSM carriers with your Dash. For instance, you can use an AT&T SIM card in your Dash and have their service should you choose to leave T-Mobile.
It benefits you if you decided to leave T-Mo for some reason or if you decided to go overseas and didn't want to be charged outlandish prices for coverage.
EDIT: To actually enter the code, you'll need to change your SIM card out for another from a different carrier. Once you do this, your phone will prompt you to enter the code.

hi mate, i have the bt s620 also, and have just unlocked 2 of mine with no probs, admittedly i paid for the unlock i think it was about 9 quid.
and worked both times perfectly.
its an ebay seller.
i dont want to break any rules by posting the link but if you want to PM me i will gladly give you his details, i got both unlock links from him within a couple of hours too.
u can try t-mobile.. and tell them..
ok deleted link cause i paid for it and it was a report on how to do it promptly got my money back after threatening to come round lol
All I can say, Try it out for yourself and post the result. If it works out, I hope it does then leave some feedback for others. Oh by the way, that's pretty darn cheap so give it a shot, you don't got too much to lose
Just to know....
Here in Brazil we can't receive unlock code, from our carries, unless we stay in that carrier for at least 1yr (18 months in some cases) or pays somethink like 2 times the real cost of the phone (and receive a pre-paid sim card). Even if you stays in it for this time, carries try to charge for this code (US$ 150 in some carries).
That's because we, here in Brasil, search for free sim unlock!
Then I ask: no way for free unlock, right ?
Thanks and sorry for my english...
occurs in Peru as in brazil, you have q 2 years minimum contract, to complete the same not unlock the phone you have to keep using the same carrier. why we need to unlock the phone, thanks
If you want to use a differen't carrier's SIM, the phone needs to be unlocked. AT&T does it for free if you're subscribed to their services, T-Mobile you have to be a member for 6 months. How to unlock, ask your carrier when you get the unlock code. With most it's simple, you insert a differen't carrier's sim card, hit "Unlock" when it shows invalid sim, and enter the code. Simple as that.
help
I went to the unlock site, paid my money, got the files, loaded everything, and now the phone just says searching. Nothing else. If I put the original Vodafone sim in, it works, but with 02 it just says searching.
Any ideas,
Vic

For you and all people here knows: In Brazil (and in Peru, as ****man said) we don't have AT&T!!!!!!
And our carries don't give us the unlock code, unless we pay much for that. Even if we stayed with 1 or 2 year contract!!!!!!!
And that's why we need a free unlock method!!!!!!!
So don't say to us to get unlock code from our carries, they don't give it to us.
The I ask again: somewere, somehow, exists any free unlock method ?

You seem a little upset. I've been looking for a free method and I haven't found one. You can either try to pay 40 bux or stick with whatcha got. What can you do about it?
Hi mates, now that we can unlock the bootloader ,rooting and flashing roms,is there any way of unlocking the phone?

normally, if you have service with the originating carrier of the phone, you can just call them up and request an unlock stating that you're planning on using it overseas or something(and they'll usually unlock it for free)...
in this case though, there's a bunch of web sites that will unlock the phone for you, just do a search for 'cell phone unlocking'. it's around $20 on average, or i'm sure there's some independent cell phone repair shops in your area that will do it also.
Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question - if I follow all the steps to root my One X, does this mean it is open to all networks? I remember rooting my Desire, and installing a custom ROM, but I had to run another tool before I sold it on to someone on a different network...

Nope. Rooting doesn't remove the SIM/network lock.
Thank you for the reply Tiersten. Is there a way of removing the SIM/network lock? There are a few websites which want to charge in the region of £20 for an "unlock code". The phone I have is O2 branded, but I want to use my Orange SIM. Do I have to pay for a code?
HTC are offering unlock for a few quid, there's a thread in here probably a few pages back.
If I follow the procedure from XDA TV, unlocking the bootloader through HTCDEV, install CWM recovery, unlock and root stock rom from the XDA thread, flash the Leedroid Super SU, then (finally) the Leedroid ROM - has this removed any SIM lock and/or branding?

No unless there is a tool in the dev section that specifically design to unlock the sim lock. Root and flashing custom rom does not remove the lock on O2. If you bought the One X 2nd hand then either get the seller to go to O2 and get it unlocked for you as it is still linked to his contract or you will need a 3rd Party to do it.

Its not HTC. Its somebody on eBay for £1.44. Looks like it is legitimate though as quite a lot of people have said it worked for them.
I can confirm its legit, got it unlocked within 20 mins yesterday. You fill in the form at the bottom of the description.
BTW if you're an o2 pay monthly customer o2 unlock it for free
if you pay over $600 for the phone, then there is no reason why it should cost money to unlock it. now, if you bought it cheap with a plan through a carrier, then i can see why they would charge you. i wouldn't tolerate that nonsense. i paid 619.99 and if my ATT sim doesn't work, they are going to make it work if they want to keep me in contract. sometimes, all you have to do is get mad at the manager and make a scene. ;p
Thanks everyone for the help. I got in touch with O2, and as the phone was supplied with a business bundle, they unlocked the phone free of charge. I was provided with the phone by my company, but as they don't allow personal use of the company phone, I wanted to use my personal Orange plan out of company hours. O2, by the way, were very helpful!

If you've not got it from a carrier then it'll be SIM-free anyway so will work with any SIM in the first place
I recently paid off my Note II in full and I am ready to sell it. I am a bit confused about the unlocking process, so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
I've put the unlock code request in with T-Mobile. Once I receive the e-mail with the code, what do I do with it if I want to sell the device? Do I put it up on Ebay and say "Comes with unlock code", or is there a way I can unlock it myself to sell?
I ask this, because from what I see, I have to put a different carrier's SIM in the phone to unlock it. Since I only use T-Mobile, I don't have another SIM. I looked on Ebay and I see a lot of TMobile Note 2's that already come unlocked, so I guess I am wondering how I can offer a pre-unlocked phone without manually shipping them the code to do it themselves. I don't want to have any questions about me trying to cheat any buyer.
Any tips would be appreciated. Search function is down, or else I would have used that first.
Or should I not worry about it at all and let the buyer deal with the unlocking? The phone has zero account issues.

Get a friends sim card and unlock the phone. Take a screen shot of it working with att and tmo and post both pics so the buyer is reassured that its actually unlocked. Once u unlock it, put ur tmo sim back in. It should work fine.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using XDA Premium HD app
So the unlock isn't restricted to the SIM? Once it's unlocked, it's then free and clear to use any sim you throw at it without needing the code?

An IMEI unlock is permanent , similar to buying a " factory unlocked" device. Once its complete find a friend with a SimpleMobile ot ATT micro sim and take photos of the phone on both carriers and list it for sale.
Awesome. Thanks for the help!
