Hi guys.
When I'm on speaking on my Artemis I have some kind of sound-gaps on my phone. I can not hear the person I am talking to for a split second. That happens a couple of times during one session. It's very annoying because I always miss some words .
Does anyone have the same problem ?

Hi ,
I noticed this on all the WM6 Roms ( never even used the real WM5 ATT ROM)
But when you open the qwerty keyboard and start typing fast the light goes off and then when you press any botton it goes back on. I`m just wondering if its my unit or is it just ROMs flaw ? I didnt see anyone talking about this so I`m starting to think its my unit. Thanks in advance.
Mine's done that. It usually goes off when the phone tries to do something else, like checking or downloading email.
Also, turn off the word suggestion feature, that just caused problems such as missed letters, and I think it added to the light turn off problem as well.

i don't think it particularly happens on wm6. it happened when i used jap wm5 by softbank, and it still happens with lvsw. thought it was more like a hardware issue.

it used to happen to me on black pro 3.0
It's happened on all WM6 ROMs that I've tried (Custel, LVSW, JJ). There was a dicussion on this, and changing the word completion helped but did not completely resolve the issue.

I always had the it off, just "Enable Auto Correct" on and since day one and it does it, it does it less on the black IV, but still does it.

i have this rather annyoing problem after "upgrading"/flashing in Schaps 4.XX Rom.. every time a number is busy the tone is routed through too the external speaker instead of the ear-piece one?
just flashed again recently to PDACorner.V7, and even that did'n fix the issue.. any ideers around that i might have missed in my search?

I`ve been searching a solution for this for a long long time... Only thing i could found is to do some registry change to play busy tone for only once not for many times.
yeah somewhat the same i have found so far, im just curious to why this happened in the first place, i think it was my third og fourth flash of the Herm. and then the bug suddenly arose..
the cooked roms or something must change something basic in the phone to make this thing go haywire (no disrespect to the chef's out there you all make som very diverse and interessting roms !!, giving WM mutch more life!)
... and well i just dont belive that its a "one-way" bug .. or ? .. very wired
It's been like this on my phone since I got it in it's original fashion.
VERY annoying thing indeed.
I have not experienced this in PDAviet ROMs people so you might wanna try. It has sound but not that loud.

I have this weird problem.
I have flashed Duttys 3.9 and whenever someone calls me I pick up and say hello, but the other side does not hear for 1 or 2 seconds...and then people complain: WTF? You have the best phone ever and still it is a shyt..and stuff like that...and that is really annoying! (jelaous people )
Is there any fix for this or is it just a regular issue?
Anyway, I plan to flash dutys 4 Turbo during the weekend...so I will see whether the problem remains or not...

Hi Mates, I have the same problem with L26_3.55, but i think this problem can't be avoid. I already get used to this, so I just say "Hello" 2 seconds after pick up the phone!
I have the same issue on shipped ROM 1.56 for Touch HD. It would be great if someone will find reason...
Same here... I'm pretty sure this issue is not ROM related... We'll just have to get used to it.
By the way: If you say hello a few seconds after picking up, no one complains! Works for me! They don't even realize the delay!
But that way you can go and compensate every flaw that shouldnt be there in the first place. Flaws are there to be fixed it shouldnt be so that you must fix your own behaviour in order to deal with a flaw.

i had this problem since i got my HD in november! just got used to it and also say hello 1 or 2 seconds after i pick up nobody ever complained
and also when i push the End key, the conversation ends 2 seconds later ..

The End Key delay thing can be changed with Advanced Config 3.3. For some reason the default delay between pressing the key and ending the call is 3 seconds...no idea why!
1 or 2 seconds mute after picking up a call is a WinMo problem it has nothing to do with rom every winmo phone that i used has the same problem HP, Touch Crusie, omnia i dont know if there is a fix for that. Iam use to it i still love my hd.
I read this a while ago on another forum. Mayber someone wants to try and report if it works:
You can remove the delay by editing this registrykey :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER------>ControlPanel------>PhoneNetSelMode------>Timeout
change the value from 3000 to 0, the delay is than gone.
Reboot,Done.
cant rom cookers cook such enhancements in their roms? Cause i think we all agree that 0 seconds is better then 3 seconds.

The problem is:
While I am talking, after some time, the other people is no longer able to hear me.
I can hear him as normal, but he cannot hear me.
That happens randomly --- at least it seems so at present, I haven't found any patterns yet.
That happens no matter I use the phone or a earphone(headset).
That happens no only when using the build-in phone app, but also when I use Skype.

Sorry for the delayed reply.
As I said, it happens even when I am using earphones. So I don't think it is because I cover the mic.

I have the same problem andon the same phone and I don't know how to solve it. Anybody can help please...
Since I bought the mobile I have experienced problems with the touch (the touch is not responding properly, or ghost touchs happen). Change my phone and the same problem happens, try the phone from my cousin and brother, and the same problem happens. In normal use (navigation, internet, music, reading) is not annoying, but in the games it hurts much experience, because the touch stops responding indefinitely and acts on his own for a few seconds so I have to lock the mobile for the touch working again until the problem happens again. I've noticed that the problem occurs more frequently when the mobile is hot. Definitely not if the problem is software or hardware, because the problem happens on all phones I've tried. Maybe someone can help me, because I find no solution so far.

This used to happen on my Galaxy S Advance when it was hot. Maybe it happens with all phones which are hot.

maybe keeping the display clean helps

Ok, now I tried the screen protector and the problem persist. No more people have touch problems and possible fixs?
I don't think that I and my brother and cousin are the only with this problem.
