All,
Does anyone use a reliable universal remote application on their s620? Not remote desktop, but rather universal for other electronic devices. I know the iPaq's had an application of sorts packaged at retail. Do we have something like this for ours?
Thanks!
How would you do that, since the S620 don't have IR port?
You wouldn't...For some reason I just assumed the S620 would have IR...since it has almost everything else you could want or imagine....
Well, that answers that quickly Mine's still on it's way, or I might have noticed that

Under connectivity, there is a beaming option. What is beaming if not IR?

Hello, using skype back loud speaker is used during connection is there some possibility to change it to front speaker? There is similar application for loox where you can activate/deactivate one of the speakers. What do you think about it?

As far as I know it hard wired in HTC devices. You're stuck with it I think.
As far as I know, the loox 720 is also made by HTC, and if oz managed to make the speaker-toggle for LOOX720, why not the other HTC models?
Best Regards

Yes, they never worked on it, I think creamhackered said it a while ago. As far as we know, they only worked on a Himalaya and a Blue Angel one.

Huh? Smartphone/ppc no longer applies in WM6.
The HT1100 is just an HTC Touch with a keypad. It runs WM6 professional, which is what PocketPC was under WM5.
but there is hsdpa enabled and umts

My finger run beyond my thought.
Thought it's a good phone, I think.
You must use both to input with a full keyboard.
With this dial pad phone, one can reply message with one hand, it's really good for thosećwho do commutation by train, here Japan.
Is it possible to put a old fashion usb keyboard into the artemis?
Do i need special drivers to do that?
no you need a pda which support usbHost and only Athena of htc based pda's support that
but you may be able to use ir and bluetooth keyboards

unfortunately p3300 doesn't have ir?
bleutooth keyboards are a bit expensive at the moment...
usbHost, sounds good, will google that one further down
I noticed that since i installed "mobiler" the keyboard/mouse are getting a live on their own while charging... e.g. random input... Does this mean it should be possible to provide keyboard input through the connector somehow?
as i said artemis dont support usbHost
it's a hardware issue

got that part. don't worry.
I guess i'm looking for the easyest way to get a keyboard connector airborne?
Howcome "mobiler" makes my charger turn into a random key generator?
Now i think of it... Aren't the PS3 keyboards bleutooth?
e.g. Logitech Cordless Mediaboard pro (Bluetooth)
Those are doomed to get cheap pretty soon, if they aren't already...
Would one of those work on my artemis? Anybody tried such a thing already??
my bluetooth logitech keyboard works fine with my artemis. I also have the igo stowaway which cost only about 40 pounds.

Were in the shop, seen a bleutooth logitech keyboard, but those thingies started at 75 euro's... was just a little out of reach for my budget... Went home with a 8gb microsd card though...
Been playing with "Mobiler" for a while now, does the job, but will have to have a pc around all the time this way. Anybody has an idea on how Mobiler does the job? (still have some atmel's laying around, mb program a usb -> p3300 chip?
Woot! bought a cheapass (21 euro) bleutooth Apple Mac Wireless Keyboard thingy
Connects fluently to artemis, typing on my artemis goes pretty fast now. Had to turn off T9/autocorrect/etc to let the artemis keep up with my typing
Thanks voor all info above
(still some small issues with specific buttons: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1991883#post1991883)

Guys just a very quick question, does the new M9 come with a IR transmitter and receiver or only a transmitter? Is it still possible for the M9 blaster to learn new IR signals ?

Anyone?
No, it can learn IR signals
Sent from Tapatalk on either my HTC One M9 or Tab4 10.1, it kinda depends
How?
There is an mention that the M9 can learn IR signals. How then?
Mine does not respond to signal. So it seems that it has only an IR blaster and no receiver.

Maybe a software issue? Mine certainly learned signals using the Peel remote app that came on the phone

Anymote told me their app can record on the M9, that was one of the deciding factors for me to upgrade from my M7. I have a lot of devices that aren't in any code database, and the IR receiver has become invaluable to me.
So it works for you on the M9?
I See in tha app descriptoin: RECORD REMOTES - exclusive to the HTC One due to hardware limitations in other devices.
Could be any One device offcourse

It is possible to learn new IR signals.
Open the Peel Smart Remote app, open the remote, go to settings, choose your room and click on your device in the DEVICE-section.

This is not called learn new signal. The Device-section is a set of preset signal. What he meant was learn signals directly from the remote you have. Because sometimes the app does not have your device's brand/signal. Happened to me when i tried on my Fujisu air-conditioner and non of the signals worked.

It does work. Tested it out after I got the phone. However, I haven't seen any other apps besides the one I use that can do it, and last time I checked the app is I think $10. The way I see it, that's still less than a low end universal remote that CAN'T learn signals, but most Android users seem to be entitled jerks who think everything on the app store should be free, so whether or not you're willing to pay for it is your only limitation here.

That's anymote I believe. I also purchased it when I used it ALL THE TIME on my galaxy gear 2 watch. Its got codes for devices I never would have thought of controlling with a phone. I will also say that response from the developers was quick but they were also extremely rude and accused me of having a pirated copy somehow? I didn't have a fake copy obviously otherwise I wouldn't have contacted them for help! Haha either way we got it sorted and they found the code for a device I was having difficult with.

Search "Smart IR Remote", it's $6.99USD now. Looks like they also have a free app now as well, but I don't know how limited it is.
