So, after successfuly upgrade from wm5 to wm6, I've installed the HTC Home plugin on my Artemis. After this installation i couldn't see the clock or waether icons on my today screen, although the place on display was "reserved" for it.
Does enybody knows, what I'm doing wrong ?
Do I use the wrong HTC Home plugin ?
Is these other Plugings for Srtemis P3300 ?
Here my Device Infos:
WM6 -> OS 5.2.162
ROM: 3.13.407.1 GER from 8/28/07
Model: ARTE110

Go in Setting's , on Today icon and from the Items menu you can acces all that you need to be displayed.

the space is empty for the plugin right?
install HTC_HOME_CUSTOMIZER and go to "today locking" and say "lock". after that choose icons, backround in HTC_HOME_CUSTOMIZER. if you have lock it and choose the style you will see the plugin!

Hi,
I'm sorry, the space for the plugin is not empty. The plugin is there. The space that is empty is the space where there should be a weather-icon on the weather-tab.
The first tab (with the clock) workst perfectly.
The second tab (with the favorite contacts) displays a bunch of green "+"-characters. Tapping on one doesn't activate anything though.
The third tab (weather) displays an empty space above the tabs
The fourth tab (launcher) displays a bunch of green "+"-characters, and on the first position a shortcut to the comm-manager. Tapping a plus changes it to a folder-icon, that's it.
The fifth and sixth tab (music and profiles) I disabled in the settings-menu since I won't use those.
I see you are on the german rom,
I had the same issue with my french rom, no shortcuts, couldn't add favorite contacts...
The thing is that the plug in is for the english rom.
I found the french translated plug in and everything went fine.
You need to find a german plug in.
Okay, I didn't realise the hom plugin is language-specific...
I'll need the dutch version (NLD) though, not the german one.
Anybody knows if there's a dutch version out there?
**Edit: Perhaps it's possible to localize the plugin I have right now?

I run the version that is downloaded by the Home Customizer, I don't quite know what version that is.
Could somebody point me to a version that is confirmed to work on the official HTC WM6-rom?

hello, im dutch so sorry for the strinky englisch.
I have a red thing in the tray on the screen below. this icon belongs to trayicon_mannermode.exe. What is it and to wich programm does it belong ?
I deleted the file in the hope that the icon was gone, and yes it was.
But now i have two problems instead of one !
- i get a couple of messages that the .exe could not be fould.
- there are no trayicons left but the traybarspace remains so no space advantage.
Please help ?

That icon goes with the vibrate mode of the CommButton-Toggle-Vibrate-Fix.CAB. This is the program that switches between vibrate and ring if you hold down the comm button. You will probably need to download and reinstall that application to obtain normal functionality.

1. Black Theme with Toms Background
2. Kaisers HTC Home Plugin (this one is in english)
3. PHM Try (is not needed cause you have your own) If you want to play with this tool, look for wizard in this Forum and PHMtray
4. New Style CommManager ( Ithink it switches it self to english)

If you want your phone run faster, than dont install the Comm Manager. I think also the comm Manager has got some bugs. ( I couldn´t start Wlan on mine)

Yes, i experienced the same!
WLAN IS NOT STARTABLE
and the new Manager is VERY SLOW!
The WLAN button is configurable, you just need to search through the registry for the entry for your WLAN adaptor and change the action of the button to that. BAsically it has the wrong code (the one from a wizard\hermes if I'm not mistaken) so the link is invalid hence doesn't work. Its only a 5 digit code or similar from memory. It shouldn't be slower tho, I'd be tempted to find another installer as I've as yet to come across a slow Comm Manager. HTC Home plugin yes, but not the comm manager.
With regards to PHM Tray, yes windows does have its own try by default but it is no where as easy to configure. This app is very useful for a lot of people.
Any chance of the WMP skin for this too? Thanks!

what hangs? download? or flashing? i just tried the download.. for me its workin
sorry the download,how long should it take to download?.might restart computer see if that helps,i also have no other programs running when am trying to download so cant see why it wont download.

what exactly do you mean? sometimes the bottom bar doesnt change the color... soft reset after switching the theme helps...
or do you mean something else?

the OS Version is in the main Post.... there is nothing else in it.. everything else on your phone stays the same... im planing a realease with custom bootscreen and empty extrom..

for me it works... you have to try a bit... move your finger from "under the htc home plugin" to the bottom of the screen...
try with stylus if it doesnt work...

I've installed HTC Customizer 0.8b (from this topic -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319308)on my Artemis. I'm running the official Dutch WM6-rom from HTC. After installation, the customizer downloaded and installed the home plugin by itself. So far no problems occurred.
I have a problem however with setting up the home-plugin (not the customizer). I can't put any programs in the launcher-tab, I can't put contacts in the favorite contact-tab, and the weather-tab is completely empty...
I've asked in the forum of pocketemu.com, the creator of the customizer, but i didn't get a response.
Has anybody had this problem before? Does anyone have a qlue about how to go about this?
Did you have the HTC Home on your ROM before you installed the Home Customizer? If not, that's your problem.

I have the same problem. The clock is working fine, the rest doesnt.
Specs:
- Official NL T-Mobile WM6 Rom
- HTC Home plugin installed
- HTC Home Customizer v1.0b5 installed
I have tried to get it to work after a hard reset, no other appz installed. No success. Also tried to get it to work with the previous versions of the HTC home plugin (every time on a clean phone), including the previous version of the home customizer (& -lite).
Can someone help us?

The problem can be different mui file.
HTCHome and HHCustomizer generally use 409 mui (stay for WWE language), and they can't work on dutch rom.
Try to rename it (only number with your country number)

Hey all,
- Disabled the today plugin, soft reset
- Renamed the HTC Home MUI files from 0409 to 0413 (=> my country number => the Netherlands) with Total Commander (cecmd)
- Give a soft reset, enabled Home plugin
- Home plugin was able to download weather through GPRS
- other tabs are working also
-No luck downloading new weatherspecs by WiFi.
(I have a good WiFi connection, the HHC v1.0b5 connects perfectly to the internet)
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this last issue?

When I got home and connect to my own WiFi, there was no problem anymore getting the last weatherinfo. Problem is solved now

i think its v2...also i have installed transparent slider manila files and manila files to remove top and bottom curtain.do you think these could be the problem why it does not work?

What is the proper way to install this, please? Do I need to disable touch flo or anything first? I copied it to the windows directory and it worked to a degree. Im also running Duttys R5 and it seems to stretch the wallpaper vertically when you scroll to a different tab and doesnt display properly. Also when I changed my wallpaper only the home page changed until i do a soft reset or disable touch flo then re enable and that can be a pain just to change a wallpaper for all tabs. Any suggestions? Last but not lease im not to keen on manila files so if i wanted to undo this how would I go about it.Thanks in advance.

Oki ... sooo ... Here you have cab file ... If you change background for Home tab ... The same background should be visible on all tabs ... Works ok for Duttys R5 ... for hi-res background 480x800 ... I've not tested it for other res ... Restart of TF3D is required ...
... and here it is the orginal manila file ... for those of you who don't have it any more .... (this file is from manila V2.1 38658 from Duttys R5 .... )
