I found these and wanted to share these with you. For those of you who aren't comfortable with a big fat battery in the back of your device, I think these should serve well. The first three are very cheap @ under $20.00.

anything that looks like cheap **** from China, probably is...
Maybe so, but these are definitely a better option than the cheap extended batteries available on ebay. Atleast they won't blow up inside the device. If somebody has tried them it would be great to hear some comments.
how many have blown up? and would they really blow up or more like leak?
i think its probably better to get one of those portable laptop batteries that might work, they have them in external and i think for regular 120v so you could plug charger, though it would be very nice if they had a usb plug for charging directly im not sure how to convert them but most of the ones i have seen are 120W not sure how that goes in mAh
if you want buy battery from china, pls contact me,
thanks
what i want is a fully pinned 11 pin usb male connector (for soldering reasons, or one with all the pins attached to wires) im sure a lot of ppl here would be intrested in that... hmm custom 1/8 stereo usb charging/data and oh did i mention mic ya i would put that in a docking cradle esp for car one
thats what i want
so any anyone use this battery? i'm thinking about buying one
Dear Doug ,
Give this China battery manufacturer a chance first before you comment it is a ' Cheap **** ' product . There are many made in USA ' Cheap **** ' products too ( both cheap and expensive ) if everyone needs to look for it to prove to others - right ? You are being prejudice against made in china product just because it is cheap - do you know how much money manufacturers make on producing it's product ? Just because this particular company chooses to make less profit and to sell at a minimum price doesnt mean it is a **** product - please get this inside your mind ! Please be fair in your comments - thanks and regards - jimmunsw

Quite alot of batteries are made in china nowadays. >.> Even the battery in ya newly brought laptop is probably made from china.
like 60+% of LCD Panels are made in China. lol.
80% of the products in your home probably contains parts made ini china.
Not everything made from china is bad. Nowadays everything is made in china.
Avoid going off topic.
Anyway, that first one looks nice. And 10,000mAh should be more than enough for 1 whole day of full use of any device.

This does look pretty amazing although you would want to be a wealthy enough man to purchase this at €199 it's not even on sale yet but i can see this doing well with people who spend a lot of time outdoors away from electricity like explorers, etc.
Something like this would be great at a festival or if you were just out and about for a period of time and your phone died and nowhere near electricity and you needed it charged up.
What do people think to this?
I think hydrogen is harder to find than sunlight.
Seeing as they Don't even say how it works under the section "how it works" and seeing as hydrogen or Cole fusion is not invented yet to a point of usefulness (and would not be invented just by some company just to power USB devices...).
I'm going to go with it a Battery on one side and a tank that holds water and dose nothing on the other side till proven other wise... Also wouldn't that vary easily become a Boom, a vary big boom?
I Call Shenanigans!
I don't know about the ins and outs folks i just seen this website and had a look and it does look like a superb invention.
Cool piece of tech, it's just a mini fuel cell but to be honest I think practically you're better off with a big battery. I have a usb one with a 5000 mAh capacity and it's smaller than my phone and it was only cheap. Gives me 4 whole charges of my phone and I'm never not near a wall socket for any longer.

looks a bit more affordable for sure, please report back and let us know how this is.
This is the one I got:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PortaPow-Premium-USB-Battery-Pack-5000mAh-Dual-Sockets-/220639367439
It's thicker than the SGS2, about the same width and a bit shorter. It's good, holds it charge well and does seem to hold up to the 5000 mAh spec quite well

good stuff keep them coming folks all recommendations good.
just out of curiosity how often do these chargers have to be actually charged themselves (i assume they do have to be charged at some point?)
Hello all! Do to bad battery life on my wildfire S I decided to buy a battery anker that charges my phone any ware and everywhere. The battery charger has a 3200 mah battery built in. It can charge ALOT of different phones. Bought it off Ebay for $20 free shipping. Great quality! Looks like/performs/feels like a $45 item. Check out the pics!
*Has a 18 month warranty
*Will not hurt your phones battery
*Has Bright LED flash light on top
*Blue LED power indicator
*Theres alot of great reviews on amazon
*Has extendable charger cable
If any one is interested just type in on Amazon or Ebay "Anker Battery Bank" comes in black or white.

looks nice, what other cables does it come with ?
Longer usb cable that connects to your phone, it also has a USB port at the top of the battery Anker so you can use different usb to charge different phones
Looks nice is it heavy;
You can carry it with you when
You need a extra charge right;
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S
ROM: Wildchild v 1. 1
half the weight of the wildfire S. Since its very slim you can carry it in your pocket or if you are a girl, then inside your purse. Well worth my $20 IMO
I gotta get one of those... my phone barely lasts a day.. D:
so am I right in thinking you use this to charge your phone up when it's out of juice....and if so, how many times can it charge up the wfs? I'm thinking it could be useful for weekends away or camping trips etc?
Yes camping it would be great! The power bank is 3200 mah so it can charge the wildfire s 2 times from dead, they make a 8000 mah as well

a case with a built in battery, like these. AFAIK, no one makes them for anything except iphones.
those are cool but that wouldn't happen on our phone or most android phones. Its easy and cheap to make cases for iphone because the design stays the same for the most part, designers have more time to create the case and for android phones the design is always changing and people are always getting new phones so a case like that would be great but there isn't enough money to be made by the maker, the wildfire s is popular but not that popular, I could see this battery case being made for the HTC one X
Sorry if this has been posted before.
I have been looking around at desktop docks for easy access to my phone while its on a desktop under my window next to my sofa, I have been looking at this one
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it or could suggest something better, I will want to charge it via the dock and possibly connect it to my PC/laptop without having to remove the phone.
That'd be awesome to have.
The only thing bad about docks like the one posted in OP, is that your phone case might be too thick, and you wouldnt be able to connect it properly. there are other non specific stands out there that can hold any phone size, and then you just plug in a micro USB cable.
personally, I use this on my desk. works perfect, and it allows me to set my tablet or whatever device im using, on the stand, and then i just plug it in.
http://www.bracketron.com/products/mobile-dock-dash-mount
might not be the prettiest thing, but it works exactly how i need it to. and you cant see the stand at all once a device it sitting on it.

I personally am using this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008KP4ZFI/ref=oh_details_o02_s01_i00
EVERYWHERE.
you have to add a metal plate (i put mine between the battery and the cover.. it is pretty darn thin) and then have one of these at my desk at work, my nightstand and in my car. I just slap the phone on it, and grab it off. secure, doesn't slide around, but super quick to take off. for tha cabling part, yeah.. i have a cable ziptied to it to charge if i need to.
I bought this one http://smartphonepedia.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-desktop-charging-dock.html It SUCKS. Waste of $20.00 IMO
I like the Samsung one but It needs a spare battery charger for me to pay $50.00
This is the one I'd buy right now. http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com...ery-slot.html#
Nice to see some suggestions, of what, and what not to get. I saw some bad reviews of the official one so I decided to see what this wonderful community can say about this and other options, for the charging docks another thing needed would be it needs to know when the phone is charged as well (like the normal adapter) so I don't destroy the battery lol.
Keep the options coming

Right on well thanks for helping me out with your generous donation for replacement part thus making others aware of this flaw.
This would explain why some have loose connections and other don't , Sammy was running low on ribbons and packed some of are toys with junk usb part.
For those that need to replace part here is a great how to video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UT-2zrZ_aNo
Another find updating Charging Port & Mic ribbon.
Speaker level is higher better sound quality is had no more garble.
Why is that?
Speaker assembly connects to that board
A great find...
Many thanks for posting.
Kinda pisses me off really. A $700.00 device full of cheap knock off parts...sheesh If my port even so much as farts I'm gonna claim a warranty....LOL.....g

Its kind of the norm though with many device manufactures , They run low on parts and quality control goes out the window for the most part on 1st batch release.
Blackberry holds records on new release returns....The sprint 9630 for example lol

I dont know anything about electronics but.... Can an power bank case be modded by attaching the wires of the inductor module to the male micro usb part of the case .... http://www.dhgate.com/product/3000m...battery-case/140149386.html#s1-8-1|3772011264 I think something like this would be a good candidate.... or better yet is there a case for n7000 like the iphone ones that act like a dock with built in speakers....etc it would be even better
Note: if any one goes commercial with this ... I want a cut of the action..... LOL

I just bought exactly that case with modding in mind, as built-in battery is almost non existant. I'm waiting for Palm charging kit and soldering iron - will be reporting progress or failure as soon as possible.

After some dremel action and removal of original battery.
The hole needed to be a little bit bigger than battery, to allow some space for sliding into "craddle" inside the case without breaking anything.
With said battery for comparision. Producer claims it's 3000 mAh. I respectfully disagree, after few days of regular charge/discharge cycle this sleeve battery as able to add about 30% to original Samsung cell. Not good enough.
So I jammed in extended Mugen pack and am a sort of crossroads here.
I can connect to the cases old wiring another battery pack or wireless charging coils or maybe, somehow, both. Anyway, it's work in progress and at least my Notes usb port is save >]
On semi related note, this is tempting..
Any updates?
No update still now.
