Sprint Touch Custom Rom where can I find one ?

Hello everyone.
I'm new to this and been reading around, playing with different stuff.
Just finish unlocking my Vogue and now looking for 2 or 3 roms to try.
1. Latest Stable Custom ROM (WM 6.1)
2. Latest Stable OEM Rom (for emergency)
I don't know whats the difference really, but I think I want to try the WM 6.1 Roms, but I been noticing there are so many of them in different forums. I don't know what to do, and it seems most of them are experimental and stuff.
I notice, doing all this process will cause people to go all over everything they done to their phone before (Tweaks im talking about)

I'm afraid I've had to resort to posting the million dollar question, how do I flash a modified ROM? I've been searching for hours on how to but just can't find anything that explains things in plainly. I've visited various websites that have links here but I can't work out where to even start. There's all this talk SPL and stuff that I have no clue what it is.
Could somebody please post replies to this and guide me through it? I'd appreciate it very much as I really like my Diamond but it could do with a boost.

Thanks guys for the pointers. I must admit I've been looking at these before. However, having looked at them in a bit more detail, I can see how it's starting to get together.
There were 3 things that I couldn't find on the pages...
1. How do I back up my existing ROM (and everything that will be overwritten) so should things go wrong, I have a restore option?
2. The page about upgrading your ROM says.."now download a ROM of your choice". Somehow that doesn't sound as simple as it's put. There are ROMs all over the place, how do I know what will work on my Diamond.
3. Is it really worth upgrading the ROM? i.e Are there any actual success stories of the Diamond "flying" along as if it's just been injected with steriods?

1: ROM backup - search is your best friend, there are a few open threads about this procedure.
As for making a backup of your contacts/msgs etc, you can sync the device with windows, use PIMbackup or sprite backup.
2: You won't know till you find a ROM which fits your needs. There is no universal BEST rom...

a good place to start is by only downloading ROMs from the Diamond forums

I need Rogers Original Rom for HTC Diamond

I am sorry because this topic might seem repetitive.
I have been researching but I was not able to find the Rogers Rom for HTC Diamond.
I have been playing around with many different roms but I have to send my device back for the repair.
Could someone please give me the download link??
I'd prefer a cab since I do not know how to install the other type of files, such as NBH and etc.
If it happens to be the NBH file, I would appreciate someone providing me the instructions on how to install NBH Rom on my device. (I'm a noob btw )

there is no way for the rom to present in CAB format. please check sticky post for how to install rom

What is Sticky post? and where can I find it? and even if I found out on how to install it, I would need to find the rom. Would you know where to find those??

Meander through the forum, there are many clean, light, ultralight ROMs out there that you could easily use.
Also, I recommend looking into cooking your own... it's time consuming...frustrating...addicting....and very rewarding... you can also then have exactly what you want cooked in so come hard reset time... the only thing you need to worry about is the data

I got a brand new at&t tilt 2 , it is very slow , what rom u recommend me to make it faster , all the browsers like opera , google etc are really slow.

Energy Rom is what I use. Fast, nice looking, highly customizable. Skyfire works better for me than IE or Opera.

Which ROM to use is a matter of personal preference. I like the one in my sig but then that's just for now.

make sure you have hardspl'ed your phone first before you go flashing it

hardspl is needed in order to flash custom roms all the info you need is in the the link i posted in my 1st post go ahead & read through it to learn about hardspl

Also, jumping into flashing can be dangerous, read the stickie at the top of this forum, especially [Resources] Flashing your First GSM Rhodium Rom (For Noobs).

Exacto "only noticed after move"..
OP flash ROMs just like everyone else and find the best ROM as it's personal preference.
