my wife bougth a ASUS p526 in France but the WM6 is in french
I'd like to change it with a WM6 in English.
Could someone suggest me how to proceed?

If you have wm6 eng rom, simply replace p526.pim or other files in rom update. else create a mui pack

I do not have wm6 eng rom, but could you point me to some page where I can find instructions to make rom Updates.
On the other hand, where I can find instructions to create a mui pack?

AFAIK there are no eng roms for 526 available. so you`ll have to create a mui. dunno in details how to, but in some other sections like hermes there were tutorials

Bepe extracted the WWE ROM from those emulator images: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...a8-1dd7-426f-a913-4f370a65a582&displaylang=en
Since there is a French ROM you could extract it and create your own custom ROM. If you are not very familiar with this stuff you will need someone to help you, unfortunately I don't know how to do that yet but I know it's possible.

first i upgrade it to wm6 then i did upgrade wm5 on it and now its a mix
now some one tell me pleas how to downgrade

How is it possible? If you upgraded to wm5 lastly, how can it be a mix. It has to be fully wm5.
Anyway, as i said in the previous post, download your original device ROM and flash it
eg: if you have an o2 executive device, then, flash it with o2 ROm

Been Testing the WM6 Roms lately,but downgraded back to wm5 because of all the Problems Ive been Having,worked great for me,just get one of the WM5 roms (Links in this forum) and just replace the NK.nbf file of wm6 rom with the wm5 one,this worked great for me,but remember to use the right extended rom & radio version you want before programming,otherwise you will have the extended rom of wm6 still in your Uni.

i have wm5 and a wm6 system the skinn is like wm6 and many other progs and some things are from wm5 its a good system if someone want to test it how i can uploade this on page ?
or how i can download the rom form my device on my pc ? maby u can test it maby it´s the key to our problems ;D

I have similar problem with my Asus A696..There is already wm6 instaled on the PDA, just the language I need to change..I've downloaded english ROM from ASUS and also found ASUS.UnlogLangID to unlock it for other languages as recommended on one portal, but i can't run the UnlogLangID on it..I've been told I have to find UlnockLangID specially for my A696, but i couldn't find anywhere.. When I try to run UpgradeTool.exe it says : Language not match!
Will this patch help me as well? Or should i do something else?

If yes, where can I download it?
If no, is there a way to have have the auto-complete feature in dutch in a wm6 cooked rom in another language? That's mainly the reason why I haven't upgraded and still using my official wm5 rom, particially my wife likes using the auto-complete function for writing sms.
Or is there somebody who can translate the official wm6 dopod rom to the Duth language?

On the hp page there is a new ROM 1.12 (english) for my ipaq. I am interesting with this due to a lot of fixes... The problem is that I have the polish ROM (plk). I have nothing against polish but I would like to upgrade the ROM and I prefer english How to do this?
I would be greteful for your help.

i've just got a toshiba e350 ,the rom version is 1.0305.0404, dated: March 5 2003, the problem is that it is in portogues,how do change it to english. i can bearly find my way around. i tried micosoft but could not get any language service packs on the site. someone please HELP!

First, sorry for my bad English.
I have used this hpRUU to upgrade mi hp iPAQ 6815 from English to Dutch
version and i used Sp35820.
So my Office is Dutch on this moment.
And everything on my PDA is Dutch.
I am very happy with this, it runs like hell...thanks.
But now i have a problem.
I attempt to upgrade Office to a newer version but when i use Dutch then i have an error.
Now i was looking in the hpInventory in the PDA and there i can see:
language: English(WWE) (Taal: Engels (WWE))
Is there a possibility to solve this ?
I want to upgrade Office with the Dutch version.
Or maybe there is a possibility to put WM6 Dutch version on my PDA.
On this moment it is WM5.

downgrading my bootloader from 1.05 to 1.0.0.1
on my rw6815 witrh a german file!
The patch of the hpruu.exe didint´t function on my system.
OK i´ve bought a new minisdcard and then easy as 1 2 3 wm 6.5 on 6815...
next i hope of android on 6815....to be contiued
