HTC Home Plugin - P3300, MDA Compact III ROM Development

No don't get me wrong, I like the plugin, but it takes up too much space...
I need my appointments, I like more advanced mail notifications, so I use SPB diary...
I have PocketCM for my contacts, so I don't need the contacts tab.... and so on...
What I DO like is the big clock! Is it posisble to have the big clock from the HTC home without the notification icons and tabs below it?

Can use SPB Shell - as an option...
Also a free utility - TDClock- http://www.nakka.com/soft/ptools/index_eng.html the problem with this is - it does'nt have a transparent background and the font of the clock is dependent on the Bitmap image provided in the source code..
If someone can make some Bitmap images which are transparent - then this can solve many users problem...! even mine !
I hate the clock and area being used up also...would love to go back to SPB Diary..

Time clock
Hi I am using this one. Samsung time. Its a great clock and you can get rid of your homeplug for bigger screen real estate. Check it out. You'll like it.

That is superb. Been looking for a clock like that since I first got my Wizard over two years ago!!!!
THANKS!!!

Try http://rotlaus-software.de/projects/rltoday
RLTODAY is a great today screen app that you can configure (if you know how) or use raw, the site has a forum where u can see what other people have done, some really cool application launchers and clocks/calendars....
However I love the HTC plugin and I love RLTODAY but it's pointless running both!!!! Oh what a world!

What rom are you running? Your setup is exactly the way I want my phone to look.
Scratch that... BattStatt!
So, I've managed to put together some of the pieces of your setup... but what I can't figure out is the text instead of numbers for time, date, and battery percentage.

RSS widget CHT 2.0 version MINI & Skin

Here is the my widget screen and the link to download the rss widget version MIni by Poyensa. It´s works perfect and I think that´s is a good news for us, (MINI USERS). Is neccesary have installed Rss hub. If somebody don´t have it here a link with the cab.at post 210: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=823626&page=21

I made a .cab with and skin using rss icon orange, and change the background without transparence. Is necessary install the widget previously. For the .cab install and reset sense. Enjoy it.
Thnx, this look pretty nice !
White & green icons, without transparent background
Here is the same cab with another colour icons and background better.
To return to the original, only install the .cab "Garminrsshubskinoriginal" and restart sense. Enjoy it.
How much it consumes the memory (compare with HTC sense)?
Thanks!

You must install the rss widget first, here the link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...823626&page=21
After install push and hold over the main screen, add (elemento- I have it in spanish) but is the first line on pop up menu, and select the rss widget.
Then if you want install the skin, but it´s no necessary, only if you like it.
Does not fit on the screen!
How can I fit the widget on one screen, or make it show in 2 lines?
I can not re-size it & there is no configuration anywhere in the editor!
Can you pls shere link to your clock widget and also battery in the taskbar...
Number 100 looks great.
thx
edit: I've got clock widget

Blade themes and apps

This one is for Blade Themes and Applications!
Invisible Home
The idea:
Your home screen is just the background. Everything is still accessible from it.
I found some really nice backgrounds but found they were being obscured by various icons so I thought why not make them invisible.
Implementation:
Very successful, I have three screens, left screen is system stuff, right screen is newsfeeds, centre screen is basic things.
I found the invisible .png icon and using LauncherPro applied it to everything on the homescreen.
Result: My homescreen when I unlock is now just the background.
I have a 4x5 icon setup (adjustable in LP) and then a dock bar at bottom.
The top row is google search; left half is web, right half is voice. I used LPs Activities Shortcut and found the intents.
Then there is a large block (4x3) of Invisible Lock Widget to lock my phone by tapping the middle of the screen.
At the bottom I have 5 dock icons which have swipe actions so 10 actions all in all, plus a second dock scrollable behind that (kept the icons on that one).
Basically I can access everything easily from this screen because they are regularly used functions so I know where they are.
Implications:
You can draw your own background and effectively make up your own home screen.
Further Ideas:
I had an idea whereby you had a Monopoly type gameboard as a background, each square around the edge had an intent like direct dial home, direct message a contact, etc. Then you had some dice in the middle that you click to get to apps, the Chance card stack goes to Google Search, etc.
Black - Just have a black homescreen, the uber minimalist setup.
If you could have a diff wallpaper for each homescreen imagine you swipe left to see your fave contacts displayed on a GuessWho board and you can click each one to call/msg them.
This may be old news to some of you but after setting it up on my phone I am quite excited about the possibilities.
Perhaps I'm a bit late but I'd like to point out that you can have multiple wallpapers using the live wallpaper 'MultiPicture', which is available from the Android market. It's quite handy and perhaps you could do the Monopoly/Guess Who thing with that.
EDIT: Found something. I'll see if I can't fashion some kind of wallpaper out of it, but I can't link to it yet...

get cyanogenmod 7 for zte blade,
There are so many ways to configure themes etc.
Some launchers support themes (adw). But themes mainly change look of some apps, clock for example. Themes also change wallpapers, icons etc... but that's easy doing by hand...
Also for CM7 there's a theme switcher, which only work for specific themes. And one for adw themes.
All this is too confusing to me...
Someone should explain..
I just use LP with custom background, custom dock and custom icons all applied one by one myself

[APP] Clean Clock Widget

I like seeing living things in my homescreen, and I was looking for a clock widget that had the seconds in it and couldn't find one that I really really like, that's why I developed this clock widget, It is simple, clean and beautiful, please give it a try and leave me some feedback right here.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.getmedios.widget
Thanks.
Pretty nice but I don't like the font. Would be so much better with just regular Roboto or some other thin font.

You ever tried Minimalistic Text app-widget?
this app shows the time in text, the user-interface of all the settings is not pretty, but the widget shows a nice clock as text.
I installed your app, And i understand what you mean, just a plain simple clock as widget would be nice.
So when i wanted to use your clock i could not find it anywhere between the widgets in the menu?
Teoctist
If you could make the days more visible? Like putting in bottom and havin it full name?
Nice work
Downloading.

It should be in the widgets menu, sometimes when I install widgets that happens to me too, I believe that android takes some minutes to refresh the widgets in the widgets menu.
