CHT9K WM6 WWE-C v1.3 (08/15/2007)
This one is the successive one of CHT9K WM6 WWE-C v1.2.
Several key improvements from previous version are:
Adopting the newest CE OS 5.2.1620 Build 18125.0.4.2
OneNote Mobile has been integrated in again
The patch of wireless driver 3.30.08-p5 was injected
Bigger storage & program memory
Including a 11 buttons CommManager
4MB Page Pool Setting
Please be aware of that v1.3 is not compatible with previous editions, so you probably have to reinstall all your programs after flashing the new ROM.

v1.3 should be slightly more stable than v1.2 or v1.1, in fact, I myself have never made a reset due to any hanging issue.

Yes, this ROM does support 3G Video Call. At least it works fine for me with Chung Hwa Telcom in Taiwan.

WWE-C 1.3 core is more stable than 1.2, fewer reset and button behave normally. So far I found those minor problems that is not exist in 1.2:
1. Button 5 configuration (not press & hold option) is missing.
2. Some MP3 Chinese name is not able display in Media Player
3. The Time zone will automatically reset last of same time zone after soft reset. Like if I set GMT + 8 - HK now, after soft reset, it will jump to GMT + 8 Ullanbaatar (the last one in GMT + 8). This won't be a problem normally, but during summer time period, this jumping will cause our clock to run 1 hour before / later without notification. The problem is same for all other time zone.
4. as like my last post (network wizard is not working).

Yes. I am a happy user. Everything seems fine.
nosajos, for time zone issue, you have to set to a zone outside +8 first, e.g., +9 then click ok. Next, go back there and set to +8 HK. It won't change after this.
The others are not so important to me....

What so special about this ROM?
Well, nothing special since I'm using the similar ROM as my base ROM just like other cooks but ...
some programs are not cooked in. They are installed through Extended ROM autorun. So, if you feel that mine is bad or taking up spaces then you just can uninstall it/them and install yours. These includes HTCHome Today Plugin.

How to upgrade?
Method 1: You must've installed the Ollipro's SPL 2.10 and select the option no. 4 which is
" SPL-2.02/2.10 New Bootloader and check the last check box " Is it Hard-SPL?" and then carry on with the upgrade wizard.
or
Method 2: Use SSPL when upgrading by checking the 5th radio button " Force using SSPL"
But I prefer the first method to the 2nd one.

He...he...he... Software only. You can optimize your sound pleasure through your wired headset. Try it when it's available. Actually the original name is only 'Equalizer'.

Yeah it's working in schaps and mine. I don't kniow about others. I think it should work on others because I cooked it on a fresh T-MO 3.60 ROM. If you want the package for cooking then I can give it to you.

Since I put a lot of programs, then the storage is about 40+ MB and the Program is about 24+ MB. Since many of the programs is uninstallable then you can make the storage larger.
I'll optimize the memory in my next release if possible.

agree'd, seems a bit on the rough side..

Sorry, I did not mean to offend anyone, ofc we had many great ROMs, many people liked those. But myself I simply never felt the rush in my device as in the time when it was running on Kozhura's WM6.0 ROM

well this is quite a pickle..
all i see after flashing the rom w/ the included tools
is this. i've got to try a few things still, but if anyone has any idea's let me know. i've tired soft reset, hard reset (clear all data in memory", remove the battery for 5 mins w/ a soft reset.

Any reason you have gone back to the large (130M) nbf format? (Is this to do with the FAT32 partition initialisation?)

working on using modpp to reduce the pagepool from 4.5mb to 4.0mb and reflash the rom to my hx4700 using the bootloader app.
i'll post when it's done flashing.

I'm not totally sure, but I think those keys are needed for sending files via Infrared (in the File Explorer context menu).

nope still not working. wondering if the rom was cooked for a 128MB upgraded hx4700 and i'm using a 64MB hx4700?

I can't get it to work either. In the meantime Kozhura has edited his first post to indicate that the new version is coming soon (the download link is removed). So, we'll just have to wait a bit more for this one.

i'd like to think of myself as a tester, adding to the gathered knowledge of what will and won't work with the devices.. i could almost be certain when i say that it's highly possible that some of the reasons behind the problems that people run into cooking these roms is that the hardware in the hx4700 might not all be the same. IE from different manufactures, different revisions, etc.. and thats causing some of the issues that we're seeing.. as some of us don't run upgraded hx4700 and some of us do as well as some of us owning earlier and later revisions of the hx4700.
makes it difficult for the people cooking the roms.
i've got faith in kozhura and andy their previous roms speak for their talent.
hopefully they'll keep putting out releases so we can test them and add to the information thats out there..

Im currently using the 1.37.407. ROM but im guessing that it uses the .net Compact Framework 2.0 protocol, what i want to know is what is the big difference between that and the 3.5 version on your ROM, plz let me know coz i am always keen to eak out a bit more performance...

On .net CF apps in particular, you'll see a noticeable speed improvement IMHO.
re: the issues list in the first post, that refers to issues identified specific to this ROM.

First i upload with the 6MB PP, i think that's faster than with 4MB, the free program memory stays at around 20MB for me, but i hope it will better and better.

Fill: Not everything, after i close media player after playing a 12MB MP3 i have low free memory ~14MB - it get stucked at home screen in to the titanium....
patko226: as i said in the first post, i customized it for myself, i uploaded it if someone wanna try it out. I removed the email from Titanium, but you can use Titanizer4 to bring it back. (but i think i removed the entries from registry...) - I think if you install original ibrythill's WM7 cab, it will work again.

ok... could you help me how i can set up registry for mails? it is possible? I tried any titanium titanizer but i can`t set up it...
But for me it is only one missing thing for me... For me everything is OK... (i don`t use media player )

I use that because i can play music in sleep mode. Maybe in my next release i will remove media player and replace that with Audio Manager For movies i will find another program.

EDIT: Ok, the problem was my media library, everything is working fine

Hi, i try to login with Windows Live. and i cannot connect. It tells me that: There's a connectivity problem. Make sure you're in a area with good reception and try again. I'm standing next to my router with full reception. (wifi)
