It's the time that the ROM take to start, ie:
You press the soft-reset button and start counting, and stop counting when windows stop the initialisation.

I don't think it's forgotten, but you are not expecting that Yongchai will flash every single ROM in this Forum just to have all ROM's values
You just need to post the values of your favorites ROM's (if you have) and Yongchai will update the list.

thanks for the kind words and answering some of the questions posted by others, (haven't been checking up on xda recently)
But just to clarify...
Other ROMS (especially other languages and Full ROMs) are not included because i don't use them, so i don't have the results... but if you do happen to flash the ROM, pls note the numbers and i will post them as soon as i have time.
Start Up Time is basically switching off the phone and restarting it, counting how long it takes from moment button is pushed to when windows start up completely
I put up Start Up Time after normal usage because i noticed that after installing programs and using PDA for a while, start up time becomes slower even after restarting when, Program Memory should theoratically, have reverted back to Program Memory - Aft Update levels
The idea behind Memory Program - Free aft normal usage is to see how much memory leakage there is after normal usage.
Memory Program - Free is now changed to highest obsereved since i notice that even aft flashing same ROM, Program Memory- Free differs...additionally, some ROM prestart some functions which 'closing all programs' does eliminate (such as phone / 3G functions) so reading the Program Memory- Free immediately after Flash did not provide a level playing field for the ROMS. So highest obsereved is now basically shutting down every function i can think of and reading the numbers
No, I don't know how to built tables for this, but i think this format is sufficient for now... however mikhe69, if you do feel that it is important, go ahead and hijack this thread (edit your 1st post with necessary tables) or make another thread with existing data. I don't mind.

This is the first time I tried your ROM. So far I have no complaints. Speed is comparable to Indra's Beta 5 without anything installed. Both your ROM (Ivan) and Indra feels a little faster than JWright's 1.90.96. What I like about your ROM is the clean look it has, like an official Microsoft released ROM. Thank you for this ROM.

Still Rom date is 09/20/06 and it appers on the startup screen again.
WLan settings are no more accessible after installing German MUI. (Crash)
But that happened on beta 14, too. Seems to be an MUI issue.

Hehe... Don't sweat it. My RAM virtually never goes higher than 12 MB and I have no problems running any applications at all. Cheers!

Report on the new ROM (upgrading from O2 UK 1.30.162 ROM):
Booting seems much faster (after installing several apps and having rebooted it a few times). I guess this is due to RAM disk.
True VGA mode is waaay much better than 1.30.162 ROM - system fonts are properly aligned and the only problem I found so far is battery settings and dial pad (the latter is fixable with vinay's application).
Speed and responsiveness seems to be better than my previous O2 AKU2 ROM.
There are a few problems though:
there are some compatibility problems - like InterKey virtual keyboard causes hangs every now and then and it was working perfectly well with AKU2
Battery life seems to be worse than AKU2 - before I had my device on standby with blootooth enabled for the whole working day (8:00-18:00) with an hour of reading with Haali reader and it was hardly below 80% (75 or around). Now it was down to 70 % in the first few hours. And for the curious - I did checked all the usual stuff (receive all beams - off and so on)
Other than that - great
I have installed this ROM, it seems perfect.

I've searched around but have been unable to find an answer to my question.
A few months ago I decided to jump from WM5 to the official HTC release of WM6 on my TyTN (Hermes 200):
Windows Mobile 6 Professional
CE OS 5.2.1437 (Build 17944.0.3.1)
ROM version: 3.54.255.3
ROM date: 07/05/07
Radio version: 1.48.00.10
ExtROM version: 3.54.255.104
Right away I noticed that after browsing on IE Mobile for a short period of time, memory runs out (Program) and has to be shutdown...
(example: was on this forum earlier following a thread and went from 26 MB down to 1 MB in 15 minutes.... No other program running in background.)
Storage memory also takes a hit and can only climb back up to a measly 15 MB after I clear history, cookies, and delete web content.
Needless to say, it's a pain in the ass. Never had this issue with the Rogers branded WM5 ROM.
Has this issue been resolved with 6.1 and can someone confirm this? Would like to make sure before I move ahead...

i've been using WM6 and WM6.1 now, but i've nvr had ur problem b4.. if i do start up IE, it would eat my memory for sure.. but after i close it, the memory will be freed..
i think its because u did not close all running programs wen u start IE.
my 2 cents.
not experiencing with this problem, you probably gone with the official rom with extended programs installed.
I find recently that if I flash with original shipped ROM first then the cooked ROM, it seemed to be good after that. There are a few chefs around. CRC is for one is good, PDA Corner, Marahox, and PDAViet & Co are also good. You need to try those out and select your preference.
No memory leaks with any of the WM6.1's flashed since January!
Are U running Oxios Hibernate? U should run it at least daily to free up memory...
Also, make sure that you have a task manager like WkTask so that you dont leave any running apps in the background.

This ROM actually is fast, but i have a problem with the memory.
Now it is:

In use: 11.09 MB
Free: 39.32
Program (!): Total: 49.97 MB
In use: 33.18 MB
Free: 16.79 MB
Last time I had program's free memory even about 4 MB. I've installed only xpdf and iContactAE.

for me this ROM is very good and fast for me.
two stuff :
- QuicK GPS doesn`t work

this rom is slow it eats alote of ram the ram always stays in the start 62 or more %
If you haven't a lot of ram you can change the pool size yourself, easily. It will be a little more slow but you will have more memory

This rom is the best 6.5 i've tried. It still fast and useful with 80% of ram load. This version of 6.5 is the more pratic that i saw. One default : batery drain it's expensive (2 days max without wifi & BT)...

i have just updated my HTC Touch with the ROM update provided on this page, its really good but one problem i am facing right now is that my phone does not go into standbye mode for power saving its backlight dims but the screen is still “on” it does not go to black like with earlier orignal ROM it used to go black and when ever i required it with power button push it would turned on working but now with manual soft push to the power button restarts the phone.
please help if you have solution to this problem

Could you be just a TAD more specific on what the exact name of the Rom is?
That way we can be sure to tell you where to go to check the settings.

Couple of things:
First of all, you shouldn't open new threads asking questions here. If you do have questions, post in the Q&A thread in this forum.
Second of all, I don't believe I have ever seen such a rom for the Vogue, and based on the description that you are giving (4 MB of pagepool and 58 MB of Storage), I am going to say that you are in the wrong section altogether as it looks more like a rom for an Elf/Elfin, which is the GSM counterpart of the Vogue. This sections is for CDMA devices only. You can go to the Touch section by clicking here
