Ok i have searched for this, using both google and the forum search, and all i have found is ways to have clock and date, or no clock and the battery icon.
Some roms have both the battery icon and the clock in the top bar. Is there a simple registry edit i can use to do this?

@Lover: Thats not really what he's looking for i think. He wants the clock and the batt at the same time (next to each other I guess) There's no reg edit to get BOTH the battery and the clock

Lover's right. Look almost half way down the page:
Show Time,Date, both or Battery on top bar at Today screen
is the title.
Yes and that means show:
a) Time
b) Date
c) Both (Date and Time)
d) Batt
option e) is unavalable: Time and Batt
Perhaps Wisbar Advanced helps you, is comercial software, but you can set up your title bar like you want...date, time, battery, memory, etc... give a try.
Regards.
thanks for your replies. Its strange though cause some of the roms around have this.

Might be an idea to ask the creators of those Roms then, don't you think?
maybe you could try pbar (made by nncuong, at the development and hacking section). it has the capability to show the time above the remaining battery charge (in %), and can also show the battery level indicator at the topmost portion of the screen.

Why not have all 3, date, time, and battery icon to show in the title bar? For date and time:
HKLM/Software/Microsoft/SHELL
add a new binary value: TBOpt
data: 13 00 00 00
OK.....soft reset.
For the customizable battery icon, download this very small app.
If you want AM or PM to show by the time, download tweaks2k2, good for 3 tweaks. This is the way my 8125 is set up, and I've been very happy with it!

Standard type of TBopt value is DWORD. Leave it DWORD, simple set to 19. Soft reset. Result - date and time in two lines. Enjoy

If you install the battery app, either cut/paste, or copy/paste the executable in windows start up folder so that the battery icon is in the title bar each time the device wakes up.
hi, so whats the solution for TIME AND BATTERY? (no date please!)

Hey guys, just recently I notice that there is no clock on the upper right hand corner of the home screen. Before It would show the time but now it has somehow disappear. Does anyone know how to get the clock showing up again? I have gone tto clock and alarms under settings and it does show the proper time.
Thanks in advance
Is it possible another icon overlapping it? Did you just install a new program?
A number of things can cause this:
1) As stated by cayotte - May be another icon hiding it.
2) Installed some kind of task switcher which replaced it (Or hid it as 1 above).
3) Modified registry entry under \HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell -> Specifically an incorrect value in TBOpt (Setting to 13 00 00 00 produces a clock and date in the taskbar by the way).
4) Desktop replacement software with clock disabled (Such as Wisbar advance)
This clock was hacked from SAMSUNG i718 pleas see attached pic
The clock has 5 types of clocks (digital, analog, black white …..)
Pleas See Attached Zip Folder
Clock.dll +text File For Registry Changes
Copy The Clock.dll To Windows Folder
Add The Registry Keys Like In The Text File
Soft Reset And You Will Fined Samsung Clock At Settings>today>items

I made a cab for you guys, enjoy.
I'll update it when I can find the reg setting to remove the scroll from that particular Today Item, I think it'll look beter.
edited - I changed type = 5 which disables the scroll for that Today item.
Thanks for posting edward-riko!

Maybe I don´t get you right.., but you can change from 24 to 12 am/pm hours display in options. To open options you have to keep the touchscreen pressed for a second os so.

This would be great app for me if the date format would be indicated the long way... "dddd dd.MMMM.yy"... Can it be changed?
Great little application!
Thanks to all.

In agree, as I would also like that.
But I am sure that the date format is linked to your Regional settings. - I may be wrong though.
If you look through the threads you can remove the time from the top bar - no use duplicating the time.
Edit 1: I left the battery incicator in the top bar.
Edit 2: I found the HTC Home cab. and have now installed that instead. I now have the clock, weather and launcher installed on Sleuth's ROM. It has slowed a little but works super for my applications. Still faster than JJ's latest.

Long date format - here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides, SLDte = for example, "dddd, dd MMMM yyyy". By Regional Settings change you do with pre-defined list of formats, but that can be changed manually after.
To remove the time from top bar... I'm not sure that make sense: time will be not visible in other apps too, where Today's clock we'll don't have... but - it is here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell, set ShowTitleBarClock to 0x0 (0); and TBOpt - to 0x0 (0) too (otherwise will be shown the Battery Icon instead).
You guys might want to try the program rlToday, it can do these and more.

Hi,
try the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides\SSDte Key. This key should be already there and if you do changes there it affects the displayed date left of the Samsung Clock - problem is - you don´t have enough space for the long date.

Hi guys.
I´ve a HD Mini. I have tested a lot of taskbar and..... nothing (taskbar for WM6.5). I know that HVGA is a new resolution but.... how can I do to have a battery with percentage? thank you very much.
editor
Does anyone know if there is a prog like Manilla Editor or CFC-Gui that work with HTC Sense on my HD mini.
I like to change my icons, clocks etc.
I also want to change the top en bottom curtain and the topbar with e.g. battery-icon.
i use indibar 4.0.11
www.apoxsoft.com
i have battery % and memory on my topbar as a result. Hope this helps
Another option to get % battery on taskbar is Battclock see link.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612083
Highly customizable

Greenbatteryfix is tiny and it works just perfectly. U can find it on xda - 4 now I can't post links
I use BattClock. Customizable and easy to use.
batt clock may be a great app...
... but obviously my mini is using a battery driver with only 10% steps and it shows i.e. 20% but it's near 11% and a moment later are only 10% available.

I thinkd all mini behaves in the same way.
When i use BattClock on my old Asus P750, it shows battery percentage in 1% gradation.
Using the same BattClock on mini, show percentage in 10% gradation.
This is something we'll have to live with. Until mini-2 comes along.
Or... is there anyway to hack this problem?

Sorry for out of topic
Can you please write me what all SW do you use (and are displayed on your attached picture) on your today screen?
1. clock
2. calendar item with more than one item
3. those 3 buttons on the bottom (with number of missed calls, SMS, ...)
4. task menu on the bottom of the screen.
Thanks for answers.
EDIT: So it's Spb mobile shell, but than I have still 1 question. Those calendar items are displayed only from one day or you can setup how many days in advance activities are displayed?
EDIT2: I've tried to install trial version of SPB mobile shell, but mobile displayed message installation was unsuccessful.
Thats spb mobile shell just google and you will find it
Maybe I'vemissed a thread or so, but I haven't seen a post on this in regards to the new AT&T Tilt 2 ROM:
I can't seem to get the clock to show on the title bar during programs. I've use the HTC Tweeks and BsB Tweeks with no results. I know you could do this with the original ROM. (I know I've seeb some posts RE: the task manager on the title bar, but I haven't had success with that either. I've put the task manager as the first spot in my program quicklinks.)
Any progress by anyone else?
Should be under:
Start -> Settings -> Clock and Alarms -> More
OK..... Now I feel like such a dork!!!! I have been all through my phone looking for just that, and haven't been able to find it.
Thanks!!!!!! (shaking head at self vigourously!!!)

I'm still a WinMo phone newbie, but I think you'd need a custom taskbar or something to retain the battery indicator with the taskbar clock.
I like to use VistaHide Battery Gauge that uses a colored line just 1mm or so on the very top of the screen anyway. (I don't have my phone with me right now or I'd do a screen shot for ya!) So that's why I prefer having the clock. And the VistaHide program shows while in most programs.
All I had to do was copy the file into the "Devise --> Windows --> Start-Up" folder.
aspromalee: duh, me too. was tring to use 'Advanced Config'. I don't like the way that HTC have some settings, and then you forget about the duplicate of settings under 'all settings' which are sometimes different to the HTC ones. Sorry, rant over. Love my HTC. Stupid me!
Is there any way to change text position based on another text or number? I am trying to set a clock which (min) will be change every hour.

02
03

Should be possible through the use of advanced parameters. Looks like you want to move your minutes vertically, so the basic code should be
Code:
$#DK#=1?[oy]xyz[oy]$
where xyz is the value of the y offset for that hour. Then you'd have to repeat that for every hour
Code:
$#DK#=1?[oy]xyz[oy]$
$#DK#=2?[oy]xyz[oy]$
$#DK#=3?[oy]xyz[oy]$
...
This way you end up with one module for the minutes that contains positions for every hour and the conditional will switch between these positions. Your minutes need to be in a separate module for this to work though.

If it is work only with text module then how can bold or highlight current hour on that?
Thanks.

Just to make sure I understood everything correct: you want to have a display of the hours from 1 to 12 and beside that a minute counter (+ am/om marker), that is positioned on the current hour, right?
If so, I would probably do it this way: Rich Text module (not the normal Text module!) with the following code as the content of the text module (not as an advanced parameter!)
Code:
$#Dk#=1?[*b]01[/b]:01$ $#Dk#=1?#Dmm a#$
(remove the * from the b-tag! it's just there to break XDA's tag parser :) )
Copy that module, replace all 1/01 with 2/02, copy the module, replace with 3/03,etc. etc. Then you just need to properly space the modules and you should have build your own "series" clock.
This was all done in my head, so I couldn't really test it. If it doesn't work please post the zw file of your widget so I can have a look at it
