Hi all,
Just thought this might be of some interest to someone.
I've managed to get a Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard (Wireless Optical Desktop) working on an iMate PPC (XDA-II) running stock MS Bluetooth Stack (ROM 1.72.00WWE) by using the Frogpad CC2GO-HID2GO drivers.
http://www.cc2go.net/frogpad/hid2go/PPC2003MS/
The Beta drivers seem to have a better install... it seems to require a soft-reset before using otherwise it keeps disconnecting, and you need to leave the program running in the background... but otherwise, it seems OK. I'll report more if it causes problems for me.
Hope this helps someone.

Could you help me ?
hi i whant to now is there any fix to bluetooth mouse work with jasjar cause the mouse work but the arrow don't appear but i can clik on start ect ...
what do i do ?
the mouse is the omiz OMM810
Stowaway Travel Mouse
I have the same situation with bluetooth pilot kensington
I think that we need driver of mouse for universal
Someone already use both a mouse and a keyboard Stowaway Travel Mouse
Please search
I have both stowaway mouse and keyboard working together. Their driver will display the cursor arrow when a mouse is connected. There is a WM5 version of driver on ThinkOutside's website.
If you are using a bluetooth mouse from other manufacturers, I remember there is a little Pocket PC utility somewhere on the Internet that will display the cursor arrow. The very first utility of this kind was developed for USB mouse to be used with USB Host-enabled PDAs. I presume that the same utility would also work with bluetooth mouse. Basically, the utility draws a cursor arrow on the screen. That's all it does.
Does anybody knows if it is possible to get "MS IntelliMouse Explorer for Bluetooth" to with Universal?
At home off course... the mouse is almost as large as the PDA
Is there any driver available?
Does the arow appears?

found this post while I was looking 4 the same thing!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?p=137702.
smells good, i'll give it a try
Anyone having fun yet?
It seems that on the JasJar any stowaway driver before ver 4.3 fails
The Cracks only seem to work on anything prior to 4.3
SO we are stuck between a Rock and hard place
Cant we hack the dll's again??
Who's up for trying
Regards
it worked perfectly with buzz 1.65... but with the new 2.00 it doesnt work anymore ;-(
from buzz's forum:
It seems the newer OS addresses the dll differently and therefore it fails to load. There is a new version of the Think Outside Stowaway driver 4.4 this loads fine, but does unfortunately only work with the stowaway hardware and not with the generic HID devices you and I have....
I hope someone can fix it up. I suppose the stowaway dll tries to identify the hardware and if someone is able to modify the dll not to verify the id of the hardware it should work fine once again.
someone able 2 help?
has anyone got this working yet?
with aku3.2 : the phone finds the mouse without the stowaway driver.. but needs an passkey wich isn't 0000 or 1234.. (altough I unchecked "secure connection") anybody an idea?
I don't think that's anything to do witn AKU3.2, it's just simply trying to pair with a bluetooth device.
I have paired my Microsoft BT mouse with my JasJar, but like most people, can not get the Stowaway drivers working.
I used to love using a USB mouse on my old Toshiba e800, I really wish I could with this too. I already have 3 bluetooth mice, I am not going to buy one purely for use with a PDA.
I have a Rtemis (HTC 3300) and a Think Outside bluetooth keyboard, but i'dont got work.
(socjket bluetopth 9.xx???).
Any sugestion?
Not sure why it is not working for you, but I can say that it definitely can work. I have had one for a few years now and use it very regularly with the Artemis.
The KB should work either with the built in HID drivers or the Think Outside drivers. How far are you getting before you fail? Have you managed to get it to pair yet? If so which drivers are you using?
I'm using HTC Trinity WM6 and wish to use my old Stowaway universal Bluetooth keyboard working? i cannot find driver for WM6. anyone have it?
please help!! i love my BT keyboard and wish to get it work again.
thanks
Attached is the driver I use for my Kaiser WM6/6.1, dunno if it'll work on your Trinity or not.
If not here is the drivers page: http://corporate.igo.com/support/Drivers.asp. Just choose your manufacturer and model.
Note that WM6 comes with basic keyboard drivers -- you only need to install a driver if you want to use special functionality such as customized keys. I use the built-in drivers on my Kaiser with a BT keyboard (not the Stowaway, but supposedly compatible).
htc tytn II and sierra bt keyboard
everybody,
trying to connect / use my new sierra bt keyboard with my htc tytn II and nothing works,.... if i go through the htc the keyboard is detected, asks for a security code, does not recognise the one i put in, (although the instructions say pick one of your choice), and does not connect.
if i go through the keyboard CAB installed on the htc, still cannot connect,.... i am not exactly a 'newbie' but if someone could give a step by step direction on how to get this to work, i would be very grateful,....
thanks,
ek
sorry everyone, i used elyspar's CAB file on my htc tytn II,.... thanks for your help,....ek
found a vid on youtube very helpful,.... it's actually quite simple to connect, so maybe i need to retract, i am a newbie,....
here's the link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8HAge9yJu4
no functionality though, just basic input, good for emails / word, but limited,....
guess i have to install the driver on my kaiser somehow,....
Hi everybody, can you tell me which driver i have to install for my Niki? It's not on the list...
Thank you very much.

I could use an Apple Alu BT KB with HTC TyTN (not II). Paired. Without any special driver. Remember to press Enter on the KB after the code. Now I have a new Touch HD and I get it paired but nothing happens clicking on the keyboard...
I will start installing drivers which I find here suggested and will report.
iGo stowaway BT keyboard and WM6
Hello all,
I originally posted this message in a Blackstone forum, but as this problem probably relates to WM6 in general I thought I would post here
I have an igo bluetooth keyboard and I am using Blackstone phone (running the usual WM6.1 proffessional. I installed the igo software and everything worked fine except that phone crashed a lot. Not so useful. I then uninstalled the software and paired the keyboard using the onboard Bluetooth keyboard drivers. All worked well for one run through and I was able to type away. However I have not got the thing to work again since, even after re-pairing the devices. Does anyone haev any thoughts about what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks.
Tom
Hello Guys, partly not to the topic hear....
I have an igo stowaway keyboard and a travel mouse and i have been using them with my fusi n560 (wm 6.0). Now I bought a Nokia 5800 mobile phone with symbian s60v3 touch. The keyboard came with multiple driver including both wm and symbian versions, but the mause came only with wm driver. Now the question is: do you happen to know how could I use my mouse with my symbian device? Sorry for asking symbian related question here....
Special Characters and the Sierra Stowaway
I have previously used the Sierra Bluetooth Keyboard and it worked flawlessly on my T-Mobile Wing running WM5... I recently tried to port the same driver suggested by ek... (PPC5) to the T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro2, WM6.1.
It works on all keys, including the function keys, but cannot produce the specialty characters on the 5th, number-row, i.e., [email protected]#$%^&*()
Everything else seems to work fine... anybody come across a fix for this?
Thanks!
JSS
I've been interested in acquiring an Apple Wireless Keyboard for my PDA too.
But from skimming other people's post, looking at what was successful on the internet (e.g. the guy on youtube with the Mio who paired with the Apple BT Keyboard), it seems that all the success stories come from people running WM5/6
Anything 6.1 and above seems to not work in general, although you have some success stories like from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=486595
Has anyone successfully paired with 6.1-6.5?

I have similar problems with my Samsung Omnia, WM6.1 and the German Stowaway Keyboard (QWERTZ) with the driver 4.51.
Just the keys !$& are not working.
Could there be a workaround like using ASCI numbers?
I tried ALT+33 to get a "!" but had no success.
Does anybody else has some suggestions?
Thanks,
Sigi

I solved my problem:
I installed the English driver 4.52
(I have an English ROM and use a German Keyboard)
The driver was changed from version Ger4.51 to Eng4.52 on several places and I think they solved some Bugs.
I resetted my Omnia after the installation.
Because the problem still existed, I resetted the Omnia once again, while the Stowaway keyboard was selected in the keyboard menu.
After that reset all the characters worked like the should.
Hope that helps.
First of all: For about a year, the keyboard was working fine, using thinkoutside 4.52 official driver. Then I got a nice gift: logitech V470 BT laser mouse. Then the hell begun. How in the world connect it to the PDA?
Someone on this forum claimed that V470 works on HTC Athena out-of-the-box, using included in wm6/wm6.1 bluetooth hid stack. For some reason, after I pair the mouse and check input device in BT services list - nothing happens. I tried:
- uninstalling ThinkOutsde driver - the even keyboard stopped working, even thi I paired it and checked input device,
- bluemouse/ blueinput - it says BT on, mouse off. On their site I read it's probably due to incompatible BT stack. No chances of telling what BT stack is installed on PPC... :/
- using hacked version of stowaway keyboard/mouse driver. I got "keyboard not working / please reinstall stowawayxt.dll" error. I checked - hacked one has 162kB, the one from 4.52 - 59kB and is signed, while hacked one is not. WTF?
- I know, that stowaway disables built-in HID, but even when I'm enabling it again, nothing is happening.
- Deep search on google on v470, bluetooth hid, bluetooth at all on PDAs, bt stacks and such revealed nothing. Please, help!

Hello Vartharian, did you ever have any luck getting the Bluetooth mouse to work? I too am trying to find a solution, but I lack the hacked thinkoutside files to work from.
If you have one I can take a look and see if I can reverse engineer a fix.
Thanks,
Peter

Some kind of BlueTek (or something) drivers for WinMo to enable BT mouse use. Found them in some download somewhere in the tubes, look for "BlueMouse driver" or something. Installs driver and settings panel. Hope this helps. Maybe then you could get some sweet Quake action going.
