-Camera seems to don't work

Great Work....!
1.Camera fix : You need note 3 modules ( Cameradriver.dll,HTCCamera.dll,S5K3BAFX.dll in OEM Drivers Folder..)
2. Apps Buttons fix : in Default.hv --> boot.rgu search "button" and change it FRE Lang.
-Seem to do always a coldboot after a reset by stylus (Don't understand what problem )

I'll try to resolve the camera problem this evening, i took the software in schaps release as it's all ordered in one directory.
Also, i already tried to edit the .hv file but the definition of buttons is also located in another rgu file, i don't know why...
For the problem of the reset, in fact, when the mobile boot for first time and each time i reset it by reset button, the coldinit software is launch... This SW is launch by the initflashfiles.dat but why each times ?...
What worry me, it's much the keyboard problem because i have dumped all the registry before and after the problem is solved and there is no difference...

What about French using th P3300 (not SPV650) Can we use it ? It is only the GPS that we have to modify ? How to do it ?

yep, if you use it on htc p3300 you'll lose the gps.
I'll release an general version for p3300 soon

Pourquoi le fichier "aje_fr_1.00.nbh" n'est pas directement dans le dossier "Artemis_USPL" ?

Because there's the root folder containing the ROM and RUU, and there is the folder artemis_uspsl to do the temporarly cid unlock...

Do I need to do something (like CID Unlock) before upgrading? Thank you for your job anyway!

Well, it'll be great if it was so easy...
All the registry entries have to be modified, all language file replace.
There is also DLL confict, registry conflict, incompatibilities, etc...
For the keyboard, there is an easy way, it's to switch from azerty keyboard to transcriber, and come back to azerty and all is ok for all the session..
For the GPS, as i have a French Artemis from Orange (SPV M650), i develop the from for it. This mobile is identical to all others Artemis except for the GPS stack because it seems that GPS chipset has a different firmware.
I have cooked a version 1.2, i'll post it soon... Camera is now working, buttons too, shortcuts are updated and working. There is still few bugs (calibration when starting, keyboard, and a strange picture in camera screen)

GPSID compiled specially for the M650 and SerialGPS expecting a certain CRC from the GPS firmware !

Aje_fr: M650 is not a special GPS Chips. It works like other HTC P3300.
Pls stop saying that non-founded thing.

I use TOMTOM, and tried IGO for several times, I flashed my M650 on B&B V2, now It is flashed on B&B V3.7, I never meet any problem. Why you still talk about absurdity here?

Well, why so many french users with a SPV M650 have no working GPS when trying B&B / O2 / etc versions !!!
My GPS DO NOT work with others ROM than orange french's one !!

that tends to prove Orange has sold some pre-series which didn't take advantage of the A-GPS...

Cooking a personnal rom based of artemis official rom WM6

Hy, i want make my personnal rom of artemis but i don't have a full experience of then.
I download official rom of Artemis and i used hypercore for extract then.
With hypercore i use a automatic extraction an create a sys & oem folder, and move to build.
So i don't know wath make for add a modules (packages)
If you want helpme and help someone wan't create a personnal rom !

F.A.Q: PLEASE READ IT BEFORE POST YOUR QUERY​
When you flash a new ROM, you will loose all your data!!! take this in consideration. So, you will make a full reinstallation of all your personals applications​
1: I don't have "data disconnection and timer" in the taskbar and "beam" (IR) in the Comm Manager.
If you don't see keys on dialer or you don't have the data disconnect in taskbar and the beam (infrared) in the commmanager that's because you used the schap's advanced configuration.
to enable both again go to programmes\Outils\Config. avancée go to connections tab and check "GPRS\3G disconnect and timer" then in comm manager tab assign "beam" to Button 10, check that "show video dialer" in phone tab is checked.
take care when you used advanced config for the first time, to verify this things before saving.
2: ROM update Error: see very well made colrou's page about this HERE (in french)
-Use XP not Vista
-If you're stuck on bootloader (three colors screen showing IPL: SPL: ), start again update app without removing USB or restart the Phone
3: Startup animation:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\StartupAnimation]
-pour la désactiver totalement, mettre "Enabled"=0
-pour désactiver le volume mettre "Volumn"=127
4: Backup (SPB, Sprite Backup, ...):
Never restore a FULL backup from another rom version. (backup from mine previous version too). it'll overwrite system files which are not compatible with new release.
5: How to avoid the automatic MMS connexion to the 3G network?
1/Menu Démarrer>Messagerie>Menu>Options>MMS and uncheck "Récupérer messages immédiatement"
2/in HTCHome plugin, click on "select your city">Menu>weather options> uncheck "download auto. data"
6: I can't enable the "favorites" tab after cube's installation:
to enable it:
in registry: [HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\MASD] delete "QuickDial" key
7: I lost my connexions parameters (wifi, 3G)
It's a known issue, that comes from the bad XIP of Official dopod release, used "ALWAYS" POWER OFF (hardware top right button) instead of soft reset.
8: I can't send or receive MMS.
Setup operators has probably set bad or incomplete parameters.
Check you configuration settings, ask your provider for the right settings if you don't know them.
9: I can't sync or see my device with vista.

That's problem was fixed, but right now i don´t remember the way, but you can install first the 3.3 version and after the 4.0

el problema se soluciona poniendo en el directorio los ultimos archivos SPL de olipro creo.
Theres some problems for some people when starting to flash de rom and seems to works using the latest olipro spl files.

Un truc que tu pourrais peut-être modifier c'est la semi-fenêtre qui apparaît quand on a un appel comme sur la ROM Diamon style ou elle apparâit en gris et bleu avec les inscriptions en blanc.
Peut-être aussi changer le style d'horloge du HTC Home que je n'aime pas trop mais ça reste une question de gôut.
Et tu as une idée de comment tu vas modifier le HTC Audio Manager ? A mon plus utlisé que WMP.

That element is really easy to be customized by user so I let people to change.

I don't really know if I go to add Audio Manager from HTC, I prefer A_C S2U2, more finger friendly.

I'm talking about the small pop-up where is write Incoming call and the phone number. With a grey band on the top and a white background.
It appaears on the down of the Home Screen.

Syncrotime
Core Player
battery status

no cube - this is great! but what about bio scroll?
And is there a possibility to release totally empty rom, to secure more free ram?
i mean - no htc home, task manager etc...just like vanilla versions of meschle.
To have a "teamplate" - to install newer programms, and not to use only those versions of them that goes with rom

Why not just take the kitchen that I use and remove some OEM packages (see kitchen in first post or just here in Artemis forum)

Three rom flavours
Hi there Xvx45,
I think your rom can have a big potential for P3300 enthusiasts like me! Esspecially because it's based on the latest AKU 1.3 rom Kitchen, but it would even be more great if you could release it into three flavours.
1) Small (no apps, plain rom, lots of mem).
2) Medium (useful apps, tools and tweaks....same subset of Tom Oops black)
3) Full (lots of apps, tools and tweaks....same subset of Meschles Touch Rom 4.02)
I'm more happy to donate if you will become our future cook ;-)

oh man i wud request you to pls include something funky which other roms are lacking...
including a fully configured VOIP service with dialer would make ur rom soo cool...
a templete which will just need username and password and the server details and thats it.. all set to use the voip on the artemis...
i have seen tonnes of discussions on how to configure it on artemis..
if u can include it in ur rom .. it will be amazing..

guys....can't you see the date the thread was started..."24th July 2008" more than a year ago....
so there is no logic in waiting for the rom that probably wasn't even cooked
