i have a problem with Machine at war...
When i run the game i can only hear the music of the game i cant see anything .
What can i do for this ????
i have to do this "To get the game to run in HD mode, in the games directory delete the "settings.xml" file and rename the "settings vga.xml" file to "settings.xml" then load the game." ?????

1st copy game directory to your computer. then delete the original "setting.xml" file and rename the "settings vga.xml" file to "setting.xml". Then copy the "gui.xml" (download my attachment) replace the original "gui.xml".
Then overwrite the file that u have edited to your games installation directory.. done..
Mod Edit: Removed Patch, NO WAREZ!

BEWARE: Visiting syncronizer's website will cause numerous pop-ups to occur. I had to disconnect my internet USB connector to stop my net connection from receiving pop-ups. I got five full screens with about 15 tabs of pop-ups from visiting his site.

All you need is an app called Chainfire 3D + nvidia plug in. Ok, so that made me happy, but not asm this:
Some of you new kids probably have no idea what is this game, so let me tell you: It is THE BEST GAME EVER: The Curse of Monkey Island. It is one of the best P&C games ever, 2 CDs big, gr8 graphics.
To run this one you will need a special version of scummvm, not the ordinary. Why? Well normal version works with hardware keys, and SGS doesn't have many of those, so this special version lets you do everything with gestures, double tap and even virtual keyboard.

got it to work, but it loads slow.. very slow.. any suggestions about performance boosts? I installed the drivers all three of them, and ive got the pro version. I use nvidia plugin and started samurai.. boots fast but when i select to play game then it lags like hell.. loading time like 10 minutes.. and most of the time it stops working..

Here you go bro. Just extract to SDcard and scan from 3D application. It will find it automatically.

Hey mate, not sure linking to a warez site is the smartest thing to do even if the content is ok. Just a heads up. Drivers work great though.

hmm, in CM7 Nightly 12 i got Force Quit on Phone after installing the Chainfire 3D driver... Trying again now

I am also very interested. But what/where do I get curse of monkey island. Do I need to create zips/isos from my disks or just shove them in a folder. Please advise any tips.

At least with me it was not compatible by default. I had to use CF3D.
Update: Also I can not confirm If CF3D really works since the game content download gets stuck before it even starts.

I finally got to download the resources. Don't ask how because I did nothing, just tried several times (lets say one a day for one week or so).
The thing is it is only working when I have internet connection, which I don't because I am currently abroad...
It's useless for me this game, at least until I get home.

FWIW: Says it's not compatible with my rooted Nook Color using CWM, at 100, 160, or 200 pixel density.

It's working fine on the s2.

I had it as com.ea.simcitydeluxe_na but I had to change it to com.ea.simcitydeluxe_row.
Works now.

I got the game to start up using cf3d and the powervr plug in as well a the powervr data directory.
Now I get memory heap errors when I try to build a power plant.
Had anyone been able to play the game?
What data directory and for cf3d plug in did you use?

Google really screwed with games
Why don't all games use open GL and why do we have to get a specific version for each terminal, that sucks!
Google shouldn't allow things such as Tegra only games, it's a really bad thing for Android.

How is it a bad thing for Android for game developers to be able to push the most (graphically and performance) for each specific model?

Games should be like those on PC: only one version and you apply the different settings according to your hardware.
On Android it's crazy, it's as if on PC, devellopers would have to release a different version of their games for each different type of graphic card or processor or memory and wouldn't use Direct X, that would be really stupid!
I really despise Tegra only games, if the phone isn't powerfull enough to run the game at full specs, just let the user lower the settings so we can still enjoy the game (much better than no game at all).

Just tried on my htc touch diamond2. It works well but because of the high resolution and the poor processor compared to the snapdragon on the leo, it lags a bit. Maybe a lower graphics mode? Most windows mobile phones don't have a snapdragon

You can increase game fps by removing online game statistics on some WM devices.

tested it on my touch pro 2 with my own rom (ocarina rom) working on wm 6.1
On my cruise, don't talk about it, it won't start because of not enough memory... saddly for my good and old polaris...
So, what can I say, nice game, a bit (more...) lagish... it's on version 1.0.1 I think.
I'll try the second version.
ps : you should add a help menu... I had to search a lot how it works :s

But why just hiding the infos while playing is it runnig faster ?

"Infos" using large 32bit textures with alfa channel, it can decrease render time on old phones (with poor CPU and graphics chip).

Updated to 1.0.2, much better I doesn't stutter at all when I disable the statistics, with the statistics on sometimes, but it's still much smoother

yes, and maybe you are not aware, that there were good cpus BESIDES snapdragon, until HTC destroyed whole PDA matter(pda = palmtop with phone module and WM, not to be confused with 0button android bs).
btw, game's fluid on 520 mhz xscale(what's not surprising, there's even no need to overclock). i mean.. it is fluid until mem runs out
tbh, seeing visuals i cannot understand why mem requirements are SO high. and i am serious.
anyway, it is not freeware, so i am amazed, that rule of xdadev is broken here.

Guys and gals there is a partly reason to be happy. Cause i checked and ues temple run brave is working good but with a lot a lags and going to try chainfire 3d. But one should wait for further versions

i seconded it, even the pause menu wont come out. but runs great on apocalypse even without chainfire 3d

I bought Temple run brave from the market and it wasn't laggy at all.
I'm using apocalypse with 864 oc and some own mods by me o.ö.

Working fine for me slightly laggy when I got alot of apps running.
