My phone keeps changing to silent mode ringer without me tell telling it to. I keep having to change it back to normal ring, but I can not figure out why it keeps changing itself. It never happened until I flashed INDIGO. Has anyone else experienced this?

1. check if you have auto profile set in htc home plugin, if so and you have an appointment: this is a feature, not a bug, if not, go to 2.
2. deaktivate htc home plug in

My phone vibrate function stopped working after I downgraded from WM5 back to WM2003SE. Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks!
Can you be more specific? For example, have you tried to open vibrate function at settings?
@nonreal - i have gone into settings and don't see a "vibrate" option. unless you are talking about the selection in the phone tab. i already tried that and the phone does not vibrate at all. not sure if anyone out there has had this problem and found a solution to it.
I have an incredibly annoying problem I can't resolve. I'm running Launcherpro and I also use Gosms, stock otherwise but obviously rooted. So anyway, my notification ringer keeps going silent with sound on, but worse is it gets stuck and I can't increase it no matter how I try without resetting. I literally can't do anything to it, the volume slider grays out. I've tried going through settings, using audio manager, and all have the ability to change the notification volume disabled. . Once I reset it it goes back to normal, but eventually and randomly goes back to silent and gets stuck. I have no clue what to do but it's obviously infuriating. I'd appreciate any help and I'm sorry my initial thread was in the wrong place. If any other info is needed please let me know. This is just an awful problem, really frustrating.
Is your notification volume linked to one of the others? Grab audio manager or similar from the play store. .. It shows linked volume controls and gives the option to un link

Figured it out... I had a Profile called "Night" selected under Profiles in the system settings. I toggled profiles off, and voila, I've got sounds again! Hope this helps!
Hi,
when I put my phone in vibrate mode and if after I switch back to "normal mode" , when I make a call, many times- but not always- my phone switches automatically again in vibrate mode, or when I lock and unlock screen.
after I switch to vibrate mode, phone itself change to normal, or from normal to vibrate
is this a software problem, or something else?
Any idea what to do?
Thanks
Maybe some kinda app is doing that. See your app drawer determine what could be doing it.
this is XXXDDDAAA
which application
which application can make changes to this option on the device?
every time when I make call my sound or vibration mode change it self
I dont know what to do?
Well not games. Some kinda management app maybe or tasker?

I have the same problem. I don't know what to do.
Every minute or so my Note 5's default sound notification (dew drops is what I have it set to) goes off. It started happening yesterday. I can't figure out what is triggering it, nothing shows up in the status bar after hearing the notification. I believe I had the phone in my pocket and may have turned on something in settings by mistake? Any ideas what could be causing this? It's super annoying but I don't want to make the default notification silent all the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That was it! No idea how it got turned on. Ty ty!
I had the same problem and I do use notifications for email and texting so I went to Default Notification and just set it to silent. That fixed it and have no problems since that worked for me
If I am reading on my phone and a call comes in I don't get any visual popup to answer or decline. The phone rings but I have to pull down the notification bar in order to answer.
I usually keep do not disturb on at all times with only favorites allowed through so don't know if it's the problem or something else is.
For example, if one of my kids calls I hear it ring but I have to search/ take extra steps in order to answer the call.
This only seems to happen with the screen on. I believe it works fine when screen is off.
How do I fix this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I actually already had that setting checked.
I ended up finding another setting that seems to have fixed it. Can't remember where I found it but as long as it's working........
Glad you found it, had the same problem and I think I found the setting you did. For anyone else with this problem, in the Do Not Disturb setting, under Hide Notifications, there are settings that can be toggled for both screen on and screen off situations. Adjusting these should fix the issues.
Cheers,
