It works on all the models of HTC Universal. The installation of the rom cancels all the previous programs installs to you.

It work fine on v1640. I try the i-mate rom too and i find in i-mate rom the option for bt mouse. In this rom i can't find.

If you wanna you can update
The steps you wrote are right: remove sim and sd, Hr (is always better), full battery charge, connect via usb, run upgrade, remove cable, Soft Reset and go!
Is similar of Ivan's rom beta 14, translated in Italian and optimized.
No important bugs.
Remember to apply the patch posted on first post too.
Good job.

After upgrade use Hard reset
After installation you make a hard reset
If you have problems you can installed the previous rom

I not sure about that, but this rom it's for all Univeral device (like wrote in previus page).
Remaind: apply the fixup otherwise the wireless today skin doesn't work properly.

Hi,
i'm trying to update an italian qtek9000, but either the provided upgrade utility (wich is in french!?) gives me a "language error", and the same goes with the upgrade utility wich is in Ivan's packages.
Any hint?

ok, i managed to make it work and it looks brilliant.
The only (big) problem is that WiFi works very bad (or better, doesn't work at all).
it detects correctly the hot spots but doesn't allow you to correctly configure the connection:
for example, on my home wifi (wich is WEP, 64bit share key), when it detects it it asks me for the key. But it doesn't allow me to configure it as shared. Going in the connection/WiFi parameters it doesn't allow me to modify/configure it.
Also, if you go in the "Schede di Rete" (or the voice that substitutes it in AKU3.2), doing an "aggiungi nuova", in the next screen there isn't the "Add" or "Ok", only "Annulla" is there.

- DON'T TRY TO REMOVE LOOXStore hidden partition or you can have a bigger problem!!
- Don't exceed the total mdoc.dio size of 46.137.344 bytes or you have to rebuild and reflash a smaller rom

Download the orginal Rom Update from the FSC Website, and Install on your PC c:\fsc.tmp
Download the Tools from FTP and testing with my scripts and the tools c:\FSC-T8xx

what you mean with phase 1,phase2,phase??....?
You can extract treo rom with nbhtools and imgfs tools but the problem is to build xip for t830.
I'm searching someone with time to spent for try xip porting.
t830 is msflash50 rom, can be extracted with msflshdump.

I have search a way to edit the t8xx orginal rom with many tools and scribts from the web. Have edit the scribts from other Kitchen's. Phase I to III is a different way on the search of the best way.
Phase I:
- Rom dumpen
- new tools bring insite a rom
- Flash back to T830 with the orginal Flash tool
( replease mdoc.dio on C:\fsc.tmp\PocketLOOX8xx\FlashUpdateV811 with the new mdoc.dio)
- the other way Mdoc.dio via SD Card you can flash
Phase II:
- Rom Dumpen
- and make a OEM and SYS Folder for best Edit comfort
Phase III:
- Rom Dumpen ( Other way ) MSFLASHTOOL
- cut the mdoc.dio for Xip edit test ....the next step is is my problem

i've take a look to mentioned files. Phase III is broken ( unexpected end of archive)
I've made a new XIP that teorically work, but if i flash it, my t830 stop after showing rom version and don't boot.
There is some problem in XIP fron 750. It use MSFLASH.dll instead of truffs.dll.
Now i try with this set of tools and say to you if it work.

Sorry wm6fsc for long time to rewrite
( my work...7day in the week at the moment, i`m driving at all points to germany east , west ,north..... minimum 3000 km at the week)
have you delete the 700v driver from the 700v rom? The 700 v have a other CPU and Display drivers insite ......have delete the help files from image for a little rom site ?The flash have a problem bigger ca. 46 mb mdoc.Dio files.
in my test's freesing the rom to start ..... freezing or stop your booting ?? can you analyse the boot break with a wm6 emulation

micro SDHC in Artemis/P3300/Orbit

Hi all
I have an Orbit from O2 and would like to use a 4GB micro SDHC card
It seems though that this is not supported with the below ROM set!
Is there a way to use 'HC' type SD cards without going though the whole system ROM upgrade route?
This Orbit is still new and I am concerned about breaking warranty if I go with a new ROM upgrade

Well there is a SDHC driver Cab which can be found here....
OK I didnt found the Link to the original thread so I provide the driver Cabs i used. Youll find them attached.
Just Install the SDHC-driver.cab to your device - then SOFTRESET - and you are done.
In the zip file you'll find a Cab included which installs the old Drivers back to your device. There should be no harm done to your P3300 by those SDHC-drivers.

Unfortunately still no definitive answer on WM5 though. Shame, I could really do with using something bigger than 2Gb.

New I780 Italian (fixed HC1) ROM

I made some adjustement to the default HC1 rom:
1) Opera browser retained (unlike the previously released from famusc)
2) Full working Office and wireless connections
3) New startup an shutdown logos (from the HD1 rom)
4) Fixed camera app (You can use AEbutton plus w/o any problem)
5) Fixed offset in the first and last mouse cursor (using them now the cursor aim is correct)
6) Due to space constraints removed jblend (the stupid samsun JVM), you must install Esmertec Jebed to use Operamini & Co (as usual I guess).
7) Obviously tomtom working without any helper and contextual menu enabled mouse driver.
Thanks to famusc who made the build process simpler, to ummamma the one that dumped the HC1 ROM, and last but not least to my friend Topogigi, the one that understand the WM ROMs better than the M$ guys

I don't call this ROM "cooked" just because is almost a plain clean rom, just some fix to avoid some annoying problems, and some updates.
No nouvelle cousine, just a bit of salt and pepper...

x fabius ho visto che sei italiano quindi ti rispondo direttamente in italiano, basta che ti scarichi linux e virtual box, e segui una guida su internet su come virtualizzare un sistema operativo, io per partizionare infatti uso linux virtualizzato

ok..ma per provare un porting che sicuramente sarà pieno di problemi non ho voglia di fare sto casino poi sto android non si puo neanche usare in sostituzione al manila.. è solo per vedere froyo..

- Created a new Haret-Paket. This time V1.8 which includes Installer and should fix error on line No. 38
All in all V1.1 will be complete and full functional now compared to XDAndroid 2.1! Everything that works in XDAndroid 2.1 should work in V1.1, too!

Come on guys. Where's the problem in downloading a GParted LiveCD and burning it to CD or making a bootable USB Stick. You will have to do this only 1 time if you do it correctly! After this you won't need it anymore and my Installer does the job automagically for you!
Here is a tip how you can do the partitioning in windows. Thanx to user olme for this: Link on Touch Diamond2 Forum
So keep your fingers crossed now. I am uploading the new release V1.1 now!

A few quick questions, before trying this one out (as all other Android ports have failed for daily usage).
How long does this version take to wake up when a call is received?
How's the battery life and battery % indication?

You will have to try it out yourself - but keep in mind to wait for V1.1 (it will be a 1-file-download which includes everything - no more hassling around with a lot of downloads - just 1 file!!)

thanks for your hard-work. I am kind of new this new method. Last time i tried Andriod was about 1 year ago. At that time, there did not exist the partioning method and stuff. Ok my question is i followed the video, and i did partioned the SD card. As the video shows there a file on desktop by the name of SuperE. where i could find that file?

battery life
The battery drain would also interest me before i install this rom. Does the battery life reach a whole day in normal usage?
