Hi,
I'm trying to change the input method but when I go out of the Input settings page, it goes back to the keyboard again. I'm on wm6 b&b4.0 but it was also happening when I was on the o2 wm6.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Richard
It's not mine but this proggy does the job well!
that worked! thanks!!

Hi all,
managed my upgrade Yesterday. Now I am using an iMate ;-) instead of a Vodafone. I wondered why I am not getting the HTC SmartDialing in my phone. With the Vodafone version it was available, not running anything from the ExtRom.
In the Menu I see an option to change the Smart Dialing Options. . . but nothing is happening if I click this option (though it is not greyed out either). In the help-file no word is mentioned about Smart Dialing either.
Is this option simply not available in Jasjar ?
Or should I run some .cab from the ExtRom to get this installed.
I actually learned to like this option and pity to loose it.

Same problem
Did you find a solution?
Well Yes, I can switch it on through the .cab files which are in the extended rom. But I understood it taken 3,5 MB of memory. Nevertheless I use it as I also like to be able to use another skin.

Click to collapse
I'd like to know the same thing. I have PCM keyboard burned into my ROM that I can't use because because it's bast the expiration date for the beta. I'd really like to get rid of this.
easiest way is to use SK_Tools
use regedit tool, search "issipinput", then just change the key value 1 to 0 to disable sip u don't want to use.
dear all ...
with all my gratitude, please help me solving my problems with my O2 XDA IIs ...
they are :
1. QWERTY keypad does not respond, though the backlight is still on. How to overcome this ??
2. The del/backspace button on my virtual keyboard/letter recognizer ... also does not respond, so that i can not del the text i am wrong typing.
First, I have WM2003SE, as the default OS when the problems bothered me. Then I upgrade it to WM6 with Helmi's ROM, but the problem won't disappear ...
Thanks a lot in advance ...
the keyboard connector might be faulty , what you can do is open up the whole BA, adjust the keyboard ribbon and see if it works, if not, then change a new keyboard. btw i dont know why your touch screen wont work.. try re-aligning procedures.. if not download a new keyboard plugin to try..
Hey Man,
I'm trying to load WM6 by Helmi to my brand new IIs. I've tried using the same downloaded ROM that worked on my SX66 about 6 weeks ago, but I get errors: "Wrong country code" or "Image not designed for this device"
Please Help
Got It!
Had to use the "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe"
Greetings out there!
I don't believe this has been asked before. For the past couple months I've tried to find a fix for this, and haven't been able to. It's the only thing I haven't found a fix for by searching the forums here.
I upgraded to Schap's 3.60a WM6 with perfect success. Fixed the original keyboard problem by switching to 'Cingular' in the keyboard layout menu under advanced settings. Everything works perfectly, save for the TAB key. This key has no function any longer. Does anyone have a fix for this? Is upgrading the ROM the only option for a fix? I'd rather not flash my phone again, since I just got it set up how I want it.
Thank you in advance for the help, and for all the other help that I got by searching the forums and Wiki. Again, my apologies if this has already been brought up, neither Search or Google found me an answer.
Regards,
~Laken
You can edit the registry key as stated in:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1764376&postcount=2
This should restore the function to your tab key as this is what I did to restore function to my tab key after finding out about the tab key a few days ago when I first flashed Schaps.
Huzzah! That did the trick! Now I can't get the accented characters to pull up when I do Command+Space, but I almost never use accents so that's very ignorable.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I have no idea how I missed that post after the hours of searching. :>
