M$ Voice Command 1.6 UK version Tweaks

Changing the speed of Microsoft voice command
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Speech\Voices and on the key DefaultTTSRate (default value is 4 )
Increasing the number will increase the speed of the narration, while decreasing the number will slow it.
increase the volume , navigate to
HKCU\Control Pannel\SoundCategories\VoiceCommand1 Then change the value of AttenuationCategory from 4 to 1
Sound of the voice command will be even higher than the ringing tone.
You can also change the value of InitVol to 40.
Enjoy - UK version works great well worth it.

Don't forget you need to soft reset your device after making registry changes.

increasing volume
i was expecting if someone could please let me know some way of increasing the volume of voice command 1.6..... currently its very low

Handango gave me a link to what was supposed to be MS Voice Command 1.6 UK version and I downloaded a file called spengintl.exe. But this turns out to be for Windows Mobile Smart Phone and won't load. Handango won't change it (worst support ever by the way). Can you tell me what you file is called. Thanks

hi im new to pda, i have an xda orbit and love it
have just moved away from mobiles
so am struggling to find anythign that i can put on the device..
can anyone help
ideally it will have to be free as im short this time of the year and
if its a chareable application then ill just maybe buy it later but free on this page only...

But its a Beta-Preview-Version. IT'S ONLY IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!!! WE JUST WANT TO HELP MICROSOFT.

Downloading and playing with it.
Holy crap this thing is fast....google.ca came instantly. It seems like MSN is caching some of the data through a server or compressing but something.
It is very beta. It shows the entire page in one shot. I am just checking Howard Forums and going down on the page is like navigating through Gmaps for PPC.
I am still trying to figure out how to zoom....
Not bad but still in its infancy. Whoa, wait this thing zooms in like crazy! Amazing. Not bad for pre-beta.
It is a bit like the S60 3rd browser!

So is any one gonna post the activation code ?

I've tested it over Wifi... it's a great thing I love it!

And what are leaked OS? I don't came here for any serials oder cracked software. But i came here for Aku3, WM6 and so on and in my interpretation of the word "warez" OS are very close to this...

I have been trying to get an activation code sent to me all morning..
I can understand why is it so difficult for people who already have a code for this pre-Beta application to post it out so more people can try it...

But i also have problems with zooming, any1 knows howto?

I installed it with someone's activation code, but got the error message after the deepfish validating something:
Internal: Unable to get timely response from the server. This is generally caused by poor reception with your data provider. Please try again.
I also tried the Diagnosis function, it said HTTP request failed (12038)
I tried both Wi-Fi and 3.5G , the results are the same
Anyone can help?

i know this is the wrong area of the forums to post this, but this is where every one is hangin this days,, so i was wondering if any one has the activation code for the deep fish browser from mocrosoft???? i got the cab from some where else, i got to the live labs site to late< and the beta had allready been closed,,, ps i have the cab if any one wants it but it needs a activation code thus my delema,, thanks for any help

Dont follow the directions you find with google (using the promo code DFPRESS) just sign up for MS beta's with your live account and then put those same details into the deepfish download section. I got a code first time and second time(2 pda's). No i wont give one to you. I dont know what all the fuss is anyway. Its not that good.

Yeah, I just signed up again today and got an activation code about an hour ago. So, I'm sure they're giving them out pretty liberally. But I'm with you, I'm not a huge fan of it (so far). It is somewhat difficult and clumsy to use. But hey, it is in it's earliest beta stages, so I'm sure it'll better later on.

Your sarcasm radar must be on passive and set to low sensitivity. Also, don't confuse postcount for being a n00b.. ever consider that lurkers don't post because they might not have any questions they need to ask?

Thank you, I have been dealing with palm and pocket pc for a long, long time. My first PDA was a Pilot 1000. I have been lurking in this forum for a long time. I have learned a lot in my years from this forum and others. I am a beta tester for a few well known software’s. So please don't let my post count make a fool out of you.

Sadly that promo hasn't worked for me on any of the 5 accounts I registered for most of which were done yesterday afternoon when that was posted.
Thanks though for the assist and I'll have to sit tight for a bit until they release further codes to test with.
(This and WM6 BE 2.0 are the only reasons I may keep my 8525 and not go to the BlackBerry world...)

Some of these are commercial. Do not ask for warez here, you can get banned. You should provide at least concrete names of apps/function of apps sought after if you want others to help you. Otherwise you will only get flamed.
