this one has a registry setting to change the tabs that are shown. you can delete tabs and also re-arrange them.

More application tabs in touch flo

Is it possible to add more than one application tab so that you can have application tabs with different categories?
is it as easy as copying and renaming the application manilla files (and maybe changing the icon)

[Request] Games Tab on touch flow

Hi im already using the programs tab for my favourite programs on touch flow, is there anyway to add an extra programs tab so i can put my favourite games on??
ive just joined the touch hd world coming from the xperia and am loving it!!
Thanks
Hi,
I don't have answer for your precise question (new tab) and that's true it would be good to have more programm tabs.
Nevertheless, I used a trick to make appear an "game" icon in TF3D programm tab that opens the game folder with Resco Explorer.
1 use Total commander to make a shortcut of the game folder (\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games)
2 rename thins games.lnk to games.sho (example)
3 edit games.sho properties with Total commander (long press, properties)
- in general tab uncheck system/hidden
- in the other tab (sorry I have a french ROM so I don't have the english wording)
* cammand = \Program Files\Resco Explorer\Explorer.exe
* parameters = \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games
* icone file = shellres.dll,-8229 (to have the game folder icon)
4 add this file in your TF3D programm tab the normal way (it must appear in the applications list)
5 when you press the icon, your game folder will open in Resco Explorer.
6 you can configure Resco Explorer to look exactly like when you open the window programs/games
You can do the same for any folder but you have to change the file extention for each now one. I did it with the IE shortcuts folders and now I have an icon in programm tab that opens me a window with my web shortcuts and I just have to press one to open the link. It's a shame that Resco Explorer can not be skinned because we could have make it look like a TF3D programm tab rather than a Windows program tab.

How to change shortcuts on the bottom of the several Tabs WM6.1

Anyone knows how to change the shortcuts on the bottom of the several tabs on WM6.1 with TouchFLO 3D 2.1.
I need to change the "All People" on the People Tab and the "Album" on Photos and Videos.
I supose that somehow is possible to point this links somewere else.
Nobody can help me with this?
You can change the Home Soft keys via Regedit:
Go to \HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila
Change Left Softkey Path and Text:
HomeLSKPath
HomeLSKText
Change Right Softkey Path and Text:
HomeRSKPath
HomeRSKText
You can also use the Diamond Softkey Manager app (works on wm6.1), just operate it in Diamond mode (one of the options to tick when you open the app.)
I'm not sure how to change in the other tabs though.

[REQ] Manila 2.5 footprints app - softkey url

I know how to change the left softkey of the manila today screen
So e.g. If I want to change it to "contacts" (while you haven't the tab enabled)
Code:
homerskarguments contacts
homerskpath Manila://people\browserlayer\?.page
homersktext All People
This would bring you into the htc contact manager.
However, I want to let it enter the "footprints" app. So I've changed the registry into
Code:
homerskarguments footprints
homerskpath Manila://footprints\browserlayer\?.page
homersktext Footprints
This didn't work...which is too bad since the interface etc of the app looks sleek (the tab it self is another thing )
Code:
Manila://footprints.page
This one brings me to the footprints tab..not the app itself.
So I'm looking for the path and or arguments for entering the footprints app when the footprints tab itself is disabled.
Anyone who knows the answer to this mystery?

I don't know how you can make it, but as I know there is NO possible to change the softkey of M2.5 as you mentioned above and that's why I ask how you change. Here is some thread that is discussed. FYI.

Deleting settings/control panel icons???

more and more programs are placing icons in the settings/control panel instead of just the start menu. so the clutter is really starting to build up. does anyone know how to delete individual icons from the settings/control panel? the windows/start menu/settings folder is just empty. i know in XP to delete control panel icons all you need to is delete the .cpl files. how do u do it in WM?
As I recall in registry HKCU and HKLM are keys responsible for viewing items in control panel, but I had never tried to add them or remove so I cannot tell if it works as I am imaging it now
In fact I am also curious about that
It's an application called JSPA Program manager that can help you organize (delete, move, Copy) shortcuts in the Start Menu...
