Having overslept when my WM5 alarm failed to work, I'm keen to know if it's been sorted on WM6 ???
Don't want to have to install a 3rd party app unless I have to
Which 3rd party alarm app do you guys recommend ?
I just put everything im my calender, and use the reminder function, all is well in 6 with that method

my alarm failed today for the first time since I've had my device. To be honest I think I've only ever used the alarm 5 or 6 times, but typically, just when you need it....nothing!!!
I've thought about spb time, but this would seem a bit like overkill as all I need is a reliable alarm function not all the bells and whistles spb gives.
I'm already running mobile shell, weather, and diary so I'm a fan of spb products, just don't need anything too advanced.
can anyone else suggest anything?
thanks
Okay, so i did a CID unlock.... but HOW THE hell do you install 3rd party Apps from then on? (Ie keyboard)
run the cab
or run activesync installs
or give more info about what device and the likes
I'm trying to install a 3rd party keyboard. Also, is there a way to make online videos work?
yoi are wake about eveything you dont mention what error you get installing 3th party keyboard what keyboard
nor mentionn if the online vidio are youtube wm or real

i am using the official WM6 and accidentally applied to some sms-"spam"-service. now i often receive stupid sms from that one specific number. Is there a SMS-Filter/Blocking-App available, which works for Smartphone? (i tried some of the Blocking- and Call-Firewall-Softwares here around, but most are for (touch-screen-)PocketPC, and so not working. Is there a program, that can block specific sms-numbers from sending sms? (the wm 6.1 rom seems to have such app included, can anyone try to extract/copy this app and see, if it works on wm 6 as well?
thanks in advance.

Is there any app that you can choose 1 or more alarms and assign to them a mp3 ringtone ?
g-alarm...
SPD time is my favourite.
Spb Time + Plug-in Alarm repit
I would not suggest G-Alarm, I suggest Alarm Master. I'd rather pay 20-30 dollars for this than get free G-Alarm.
I've used pTravelAlarm on my XDA and my X1 for 2 years now, easy to use. Does everything you want, and most importantly just works!
I've not tried the others, but would recommend this.

Do you mean SPB time? I can find some stuff about spd time, but that doesn't look too good....
Does anyone know if SPB time integrates into Manila and/or SPB Mobile Shell 3?
I know G-Alarm does, but that's not free anymore. The current version 2.1 expires on 30 june.
HI,
Wondering if anyone has skype working on android with rhodium? It doesn't seem to work for me with tiad and frx04 with the latest kernel. It would just crash and go back to home screen or stay in the sign place. Would be cool to use my skype account with this phone. The windows mobile skype app was really bad if people used it.
Thanks!!
AFAIK they haven't made one for our old phones yet - as in old native Android devices don't work with Skype...
Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong - I just remember reading that somewheres... I haven't tried the app myself.
skype works fine for me, I used FroyoX, now I'm going to FRX04, and I use the WM skype and its not bad... You should also download a task manager app from the market to kill unused apps, I get about 50MB of ram after killing them!
You can also try IM+ its free for android and very light and faster than the official skype app. However it's ugly
Edit: here's the link for skype http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=873073
