Upgraded to WM6 , now can't get my voicemail . checked phone settings , has call barring on for international calls , tryed changing it ,keeps flagging up (canot save changes to the network , try changing settings later or disconect data connections and try again ) It has me stumpted .
RADIO ROM 1.46.30.11
try downgrade radio to 1.41. Many reported weired phone problems with .46. You may also want to try a different sim card as well.

I have schaps 3 rom ,with 1.51 radio (for almost 1 month),everythign was working fine , yesterday all of a sudden i had no signal , sim not detected,same sim in other phone work , but hermes fails to detect any sim ,even without a sim card when I restart the phone I don't get simcard not detecete or missing issue.
Any ideas ? Should I try changning the radio rom ?
You may want to try the following...
1) Do a full backup of your phone (Sprite or SPB Backup)
2) Hard Reset your phone...
3) If Sim still not detected, reflash your phone again with your last WM6 OS or your phone's original OS.
4) After reflash.... check your SIM...
If your SIM is still not being detected, clean the contacts where the Sim contacts your phone with a cotton swab..
If that still doesn't work... your phone may be damaged and may need repair or replacement....

what if my hermes detects one simcard perfectly and the gets the sim menu for the other one but it is unable to recieve signals and just keeps on searching for a network....tried hard reset and no luck ....using schaps 4 and 1.54.07 at&t radio rom...
what should i do now?
thanx for the quick replies , I just noticed in the about section of the device, Radio shows 0.0,even when phone starts , radio shows 0, my radio is corrupted isn't it ?

it would appear you'll need to reflash with a radio version that it likes or accepts - try flashing with an orginal rom, then u know its definately not the handset - just your rom that your flashing with
I just tried the 1.54 rom , doesn't do anything , I am able to do a rom update but when I try the radio update I get stuck in the bootloader altogether , then I again have to do a complete rom update.
I've been reading in the forum , I am yet not getting any gsm error , but as I mentioned I am getting all Radio as 0 ,Imei as 0 when it does start.
Mind it,I started getting all this ,just all of a sudden, I wasn't flashing anything.
I have downloaded some older radio rom's , will try to see if they work and post here , finger crossed
Hi,I have an xda orbit (O2 uk) and I ran the USPL super CID on it which went thru fine. I then did an OS upgrade from the official O2 website to WM6. However my phone wouldnt make calls or accept calls. The signal bars were initially low which made me suspect the radio not being optimum. Tried to upgrade the radio from 3.06.90 to 3.08 or 3.19 but it kept on giving an error 270 - file corruption,tried flashing to another rom and still the same error.I then tried to re -USPL it and even that wont take... Can someone please help me out with this as I am at my wits end to a solution...Thanx a lot

ok...update so far...repeated the flash over and over again, Hard reset and moved the enable and cert rapi to the xda and ran them there first after taking out the sd card. finally it took after a few more atempts. I then ran artemis 20273 rom which flashed easily....HOWEVER even though the signal bars are still up I cant call out or receive calls. Dialling out ,the call disconnects immediately even before it rings (like 0.5secs after i hit the send key). If I call the phone I get a message that calls are not currently being connected to that number! (i know the sim cards working as its my main number) Anyways run uspl again and flash radio to 3.18...goes thru easily but still no calls in and out. Is there anyone with an idea as to the problem or solution.

I have a problem on my phone, it has just stopped connecting to vodafone and i cant make any calls. I've tried another persons sim in it and that doesnt work either. I've tried both soft and hard reset and still nothing and even flashed it with hardspl. When i try to manually select a network it just says 'connot register on selected network. choose another network or disconnect and try again.'
Any help......?

I had the same problem with a phone I've got from ebay. Great deal of research and flashing the radio roms up and down and getting it sim-unlocked again and so forth I finally called Vodafone's hotline. I had to motivate them to check my IMEI > it was blacklisted. might be worth checking that.
I have an international unlocked GT-i9250 that seem to connect to any of the networks. It was working fine until I decided to flash a ROM.
I have tried various SIM cards of different networks. It seems to detect the SIM card though. When I pull down the notification drawer, it shows "Emergency Calls Only - Airtel". So it is able to recognize the Airtel SIM card inside. But it wont connect to the network at all, either automatically or manual selection.
When I manually search for networks and select the right network, it comes up with a message it wasnt able to connect to the network at that time.
I have flashed all the factory images starting from 4.0 to 4.3 and a couple of other custom ROMs and none of them seemed to have helped. I also tried extracting only the radio from the images and flashed them using fastboot and that was uselesss too.
EDIT: Yesterday, I flashed the stock ROM using Odin as well. Still no luck.
Is there anything else that I can try?

my nexus 4 was working fine like 1 year untill we cut off our mobile carrier ,
now , when we enabled the carrier back on (sorry for my bad English , I hope u'll understand me)
the nexus 4 seems to recognize the sim since it writes : EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY | MY CARRIER (012 MOBILE)
but i cant get it to work with the sim , the sim works perfect on my moms iphone so its not a problem with the sim .
the sim wasnt cut or anything . and it was working just fine for 1 year . I tried flashing google stock 4.4.4 with a toolkit ,
didnt work . Still getting the same EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY | MY CARRIER (012 MOBILE)
and when i tried to select my carrier manually , like the thread opener did ,
I got the cannot connect to this network . try again later massage .
I honestly tried everything I know .
Im starting to think its a problem with the device and not the operating system .
since i flashed a brand new stock image and it didn't work !
I can't do calls and send massage with some roms, even kit kat then lollipop. If I call my number with another phone it is not off. Internet data even works, but if I try to make a call with the tablet I get "call ended". I have this problem with besonderes rom but calls work with pyrana rom. I thought was a rom related problem, but now I have the same problem with the stock lollipop update.

I've tried with another sim card from another telephone company and this sim works! I use 3 in Italy, does anyone know if there is a particular configuration to be done? Thank you.
