WM6 extracted files

Dear all,
Anyone have the extracted files (exe,dll.....) of wm6 or have any software to extract the files from the ROM on a PC
thanks in advance

Cab file production

Hello,
is it possible, and if as, a Cab file to provide the all programs and Cab files which I have would like at one time installed?

Shouldn't be a problem. WinCE CAB is a good place to start.

Problem with installing .CAB file in Extended Rom

Hi guys,
First, sorry for my bad english.
I'd like to put a cab file in my HTC Universal's extended rom.
This cab file is a video application that works if manually installed on the device.
I've successfully integrated this cab into the extended rom: after a hard reset, i can see this cab file being installed.
But after the first reboot, the application is not installed...
Please help me!!

In extended rom, i have integrated my cab file and modified the config.txt file

Can anyone post the program to unlock the extended rom for wm6. My for wm5 isn't working thanks

i just found the solution:
i put Cert_SPCS.cab in the extended rom and unsigned CAB can be installed!!
michd43: for wm6, you just need a registry editor and modify 2 values, so you can view and modify the extended rom.

Virtual WM6.1 for PC

i found a virtual WM 5 & 6 for PC. But to flash the virtual rom i need to have the rom in .bin format insteat of .nbh. Does anybody know how to transform nbh to bin ?

Download artemis touch rom from this forum, open the zipped directory, delete the .nbh original file, put in the directory your .nbh file, flash the rom with the included program.

sorry to rez this but if anyone here knows howto install different rom in virtual wm 6.1 please tell me i would love to start editing my touch diamond but would love to start from virtual one

btw,try to rename the file nbh to .bin,maybe it works

This is pretty old, but did anyone success in using an NBH rom in WM6.5 emulator? If so, how?

New Manila as .cab?

Hi,
is there a way to get the new manila from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542428 as a .cab file, so that i could use it with another 6.5 ROM?
