here are the ccs files which will make the shortcuts for you
put the ccs file on your phone and then click on it but remember to put windows folder in to the windows folder, application data it to application data folder

what is the difference between these roms and the other roms...for example kavana..or the roms that you have do before?

1. So is this essentially v7 with a different theme?
2. What exactly is vanilla, do you just mean using that color a lot?
3. If I'm on v6 right now, is there any way I can get 3) fixed t9 resetting on reboot without flashing v7?

Umm. why on the second one is there more memory free with chome and how is there 43.75MB of storage memory total , but there's 55.41MB free? i think you made a boo-boo

I don't know what CHome is. Can someone explain?

CHome is "Carousel Home Screen"
The shiny new animated screens in WM 6.1 are powered by a new application framework. The home screen layout "Sliding Panel" is the most popular example of CHome featured in all the new ROMs.

I don't think that rick has to explain the OBVIOUS in a DEVELOPER'S FORUM.
HOFO is for noobs, CHOME and VANILLA rom are well knows in developer's community.
WWW.HOWARDFORUMS.COM or a simple GOOGLE search will be the best solution!

How many peoples in this forum is actual developers?
I think here is just OLDSAP Kavana ricky and maybe 2-3 others. All other people are just stupid users like me.
I don't think when new version of cooked rom is here everybody must go to search google to see what is the diference. Some 2-3 line explanation will be very helpful - you see 2 pages with the same question .
And in post just long as your last, you will be able to give answers, coz I think many guyz here (not in any community/crew or whatever) want to now this answers - you can answer "google it" on every single question here - this is not the point of the forum I think .

Hi, I am new guy to use Diamond. I have downloaded the Elite 2.0 but cannot install it thorugh PC. Should I copy the Elite 2.0 into the DIamond and install it? Or other idea?

1) first install Hard-SPL from the sticky in this forum
2) run the elite2.0.exe from WINDOWS... not your mobile device

not at the moment no plans for the 1.37.707 as its no "real" different. I will be releasing a Hybrid ROM in Elite 2.5 with a new core.

no, PDAVIET ROM is weird, is has CPU issues where the system just run's at 100%.

I would suggest in your next release use as base version 1.37.456.2. It's much better/faster than 1.37.405.1. Good work anyway!!!
"Certificates", "Customer Feedback" and "Error Reporting" are still there? I think that they should be removed too (if haven't yet)!!

I have a problem with Elite 2.0.exe file. As I run the Elite2.0.exe file it prompt me to install it. I press install and it get me a message with a title DiamondCustomRUU.exe "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate application"
What is the problem?

After many many roms i tried i decided to try to cook my own. Please keep in mind that this is my very first try! So any criticism is more than welcome!
Points to mention:
Ram: ~24MB
Storage Space: ~42MB

--Poorlyduck M2D Digital Clock embedded (i personaly dislike analog clock so i included a digital one from scratch, I know it is tricky to use the themes and
clocks that are incombatible with all the new versions of manila)

--Office Mobile 2007
--Messenger & Windows Live
--Opal Random access Included
--New TaskManager version 2.1.34837.5 (fixes a bug that made Taskmanager Dissapear when manila is on)
--Arcsoft MMs 4.2.8 (less space, faster, but same fuctionality and fully compatible with Network Wizard, oldie but goodie!)
--Network Wizard
--4mb PagePool (PagePool changer included)
--Adobe LE 2.5
NOT Included:
--I personaly love the whole manila plugin,specialy the weather, but reaaaaly dislike all of htc album, audio manager and htc YouTube since there are other

As you may understand this is a personal rom that i build for my needs. In my opinion a rom should have all the necessary apps (Windows Live, PDF viewer,
Office Moblie, Network Wizard, MMS) but when it comes to "goodies/eye candy manila" i prefer to keep it simple: Digital Clock, M2DC, and none of the buggying apps that simply are "optimised" to work with manila. I am sorry if you guys prefer a full manila style rom but both Yue's and ARTEMIS & LOVE offer that set of apps. I tried to keep my build manila-wise as lite as possible.

I may be able to translate the manila in french cause i think it is available but the whole rom is kinda difficult since i don't speak french! However i can upload the kitchen i used and feel free to try it yourself.

Now I using vanilla 4.01 best all rounds.

I will try to upload kitchen later today. I currently try to use old SYS (since i can't seem to find either 20755 or 20758 SYS-XIP) and see how it affects performance. I must say that it performs kinda faster but i need to test it a little bit more. I have 2 questions for you guys:
1) Would you be interested in a very very very light rom (lighter that extraclean for sure)? And if so, what apps do you think i should intergrate? (I think i should name that ROM "Strip" )
2) How do you feel about running latest SYS vs Performance? It may surprise you but older SYS may perform faster so what do you think?

Appreciate the ROM, gonna flash it later when I'm at home.
The key thing for me is that I use IGo8 a lot now (especially for the speedcams , got caught last friday)!!
The free memory never used to be an issue, but now I'm a slave too it if I want to use Igo.
So a very clean rom would appeal to me, but I also like the new developments that get included in new roms that I would not normally be aware of.

This ROM is based on the original HTC ROM so the most basic apps are in this ROM. No fluffy Welcomescreens etc.. so you can bring your own fuzz in it. Just a clean ROM for daily use and business-*bleep* peeps.

2. How can I get reed of the connection setup screen, it does not find jmy location so it does not know to setup my connection (israel) and its realy annoying
3. also sashimi cannot realy complete its work in one go, do u know of a problem with it and u'r code?

As far as I know.. you cant.. But in XDa you never knwo

looks very nice, but a ram consuption is horrible....
87% is more than enough with Tflo
74% is more than enough with Titanium
no another apps were on
I never started iGO8.3.4 because memory low... switched back to BsB 6.5.1A

Yes, i know... Pagepool is set on 16MB.. just for the speed..
I think I will do the next version with fixed bugs and pagepool on 12..
Its much more better balance between speed and RAM consumption maybe...

These days there will be a LITE version, with and without TF3D.. And a revised version of the common v1.0. If i get reports I try to fix them in the next versions

Thanks Richard. It should be calling from your SIM-contacts (even if SIM not imported to phone)..
Maybe your did hide SIM-contacts in Advanced Config???

Actually I'm looking for something like the latest NATALY rom but than without touch flow, finger keyboard, ... The idea is to start from scratch and only install very few CAB files that I like (or maybe SPB Mobile Shell).

I'd suggest BsB 6.5.1G one, it's fast and looks good!
I've been running it for 2 weeks, and I have to say this is my favorite rom to date!
*edit* it does have some apps pre-installed, but only good stuff, stuff you need!

You should read exactly: he is looking for a 6.1 ROM.

Yeah I saw that, but because I really love the rom I'm using right now I thought I'd mention it anyway... you're using it as well I see, why go back to 6.1?

Yeah, am not sure if it's ROM-related, but i have some "hanger" when i want to play some music with media player... and sometimes it hangs when i want to read/write text.
What about you, no issues?
I have it only with 6.5 ROMs, with 6.1 I never had.
