What is the build for the Arcsoft MMS? Is it 4.0 where the sms and mms are combined?

The strange thing is I sent myself a test mms from my phone to my phone and was able to receive but when anyone else tries to send an mms I do not get anything.. Any ideas?

Fixed it guys, .. Just needed to install cingular's media net and mms settings cab. Jumped to conclusion before I did my research.
hey guys, i recently installed TNT WM6.1 and the rom is just outstanding. I have only one problem and im sure that it is in no way the fault of the cooker. I am using an unlocked 8525 for tmobile and i cant get any picture messages. being that my gf is away for spring break, this is very important lol anyway to the best of what i can see the settings for mms are correct but still nothing. and the Send/Receive option is greyed out. I tried sending a pic message to my brother who is using a Wing also with 6.1 and he didnt recieve it either. any ideas? thanks in advance
The new TNT 6.1 ROM uses a newer version of arcsoft and apparently MMS don't work cause it didn't for me either.
Either install the clean version and use a different version of arcsoft or install another ROM. Oh and any pics you may have missed just may be gone since when I switched and now have working MMS none of the ones sent before came through.
I assume the network thought it already sent them.
is there any way to just install the old version of arcsoft without reflashing the rom?

All you can really do I suppose is try it I guess but I doubt it will work. I really didn't mess with it too much as I needed MMS to work and was having other issues as well..
You need to get your priorities straight bud your gf is on spring break and right now you can't receive pics!!!!!!! but hey I'm willing to help you out just have her send all the pics to my phone and I'll save them for you and when you do get MMS working then I'll send them to you
lol my hermes comes first, she knows that
Would recommend reflashing to get MMS working again. Think this a problem with a few WM6.1 ROM's so check threads for reoccurring problem's.
If your hermes comes first, get her to forward her photo's to me as my MMS works just fine!!!

I think it depends on the settings. I used to receive MMS in 6.1, but I think I used the arcsoft 4.0 version (not too sure.) Anyhow, check to see if the settings are right. I am using AT&T medianet to connect to MMS, and here is what worked!
Menu->Option->MMS->Servers->AT&T or Cingular MMS->Connect Via->The Internet
Last step is the key. Hope this helps!
Hey guys so I just flashed to the latest Energy GTX ROM and i noticed that it currently lets me send mms messages up to 1000kb. But as it does let me put more into the text, it doesn't actually send it out. Has anyone else had this problem? what should be done for it?
Ok so yesterday I installed CM7 RC1 and I gotta say that I am LOVING IT! It's just so much better than the stock FW. Anyways apart from the problems that I already knew I was going to have (Flaky Wifi, Choppy Vid Recording) I can't seem to send picture messages to other people. I send a message to someone and they can't download the msg or picture.I am thinking that I might be on the wrong baseband, but I'm not too sure. I'd appreciate any help regarding this. Calls and SMS are still fine tho.
It is their problem. If you can send pic, and they being able to receive it is ok, but downloading it is a problem in their data. Need data plan to download mms
Got a Headache? It's all in your Head.
No, you don't need a data plan to download MMS. My T-Mobile US defy has no data plan and I can send and receive MMS without a problem. I do have small mms photo issues tho.
Before I went from the Stock FW to CM7, I was able to send picture messages perfectly, but now no one can see my picture messages!
Hey all,
Been having an issue where I can receive MMS but cannot send on Net10. Their tech support hasnt been any help, just opening a ticket. I think I must have some sort of problem with my MMS settings but I have even changed them using ##DATA# and tried using MMS settings in GOSMS and Handcent. It seems like whatever I do I cannot get MMS to send.
If you have any Ideas or need more information thatd be great.
Thanks!
...Im on the MOAR Rom
Sprint to Net10
How did you flash your Sprint SIII to Net10 - Noob can you give me some direction?
