Today Date PlugIn

Hi guys! just wondering if there is a reg tweak so i can get the time as well as the date on the date today plugin. it does it on some ROMs so i know its possible, just doesnt do it on my current one (DuttyThroy Ultra Ultra Lite). I have read through the wiki but to no avail!

You can find the TodayAgenda very ussefull, and the LVMDate too, but try to do a little bit research before, and ask in the right forum, this one is related to WM6 only...

They are both extra programs which i dont see the need to install seeing as it is possible to do it with what must be a reg tweak (Black RC does it, Schaps latest etc).
And it is the place for this question seeing as its WM6 related!!!!
Oh and i have researched a lot before asking. Believe me, i know how certain members treat noobs that ask b4 looking and i dont want to be set on fire!!

if you change your regional settings to united states you will get both, i dont think it works for united kingdom i think

If you only want the tweak, try with the Advanced Configuration Tool from Schaps.
You can find the tweak in the Hermes Registry Wiki too...

I dont think u understand what i mean, i want time and date on the date plugin NOT the top bar which is what Schaps AC does. I have checked the Hermes Reg Tweak guide and again it is the same thing.
If u click on the link for Today Agenda above and go to screenshots, u see what i mean. The very top plugin on the today screen has date on the left of plugin and time on the right.

And with Black X RC it had both time and date on the today plugin even when i switched it to UK region settings.

What you're searching for would appear to be the TodayTime plugin, available here. Back in my Wizard daze many cooks would include it in their ROM kitchens, not so much with the Hermes cooks.
And I disagree, this has nothing to do with WM6.

I really understand you, man...
If you take a look at the Schaps tools options, you'll find one called "Single line date plugin"...this is the one helps you. Also, Schaps tool allows you to change much things...
And in the Wiki page there's one tweak for this too...
Today Date Plugin on a single line
Add this registry setting to get the date todayplugin back on one line.
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today]
"AutoSingleLineDatePlugin" = dword:00000001

lol! i want the TIME on the same line as the date? where does the reg tweak do this? all it does is put all the date on ONE LINE!!! i want to ADD the TIME to the line whereas default is just the DATE

With my knowloedge you can't add time and date in one line today plugin with OS default plus any tweak...
But you can do with LVWDate or TodayAgenda...yes, i know you must install it, but you can't get all...

I couldn't see 'homezone' in my mobile after flashing from German to English.
Does anyone can help me regarding the same.

Homezone. It means until some areas my phone acts as a land line. If I cross this area or go far away from my home it turns as a 'mobilezone'. In Germany homezone calls are cheaper than mobilezone.

take this to your hdd. Unpack and copy the .dll in your windows folder, and import the reg key to your registry. Thats it, you become an "house" sign in the telefon area on the up right side.
Ah, and dont forget to reset your Diamond...

Since i flashed my diamond to Bepes ROM, i dont have an "homezone" sign too. Thats helps a lot i think...

Will this .dll also put the Home Logo into the Manila Homescreen when tweaked "branded style" or is it just showing in the Telephone Interface?

@jbk: only in the telephone screen I search a way to show it in manila... Maybe one of the devel's can mod it...?

Seems that the Homezone sign doesnt work anymore under 0.94 Bepe ROM... Anyone experience the same ?

I would like to know if someone could upload his officials french manila files, cause i have the awful french SFR skin (all in white and red).
I looked all around the forum and i've only find one but it's not all in french especially for name of towns in the weather panel.

Hi i tried WeatherDatadaseEditor and it worked well to edit the name of country, but there's no way to edit the originales cities.

just looked in my HD and i dont have Arezzo or Tuscany for that fact.... but it;s good 2 get another opinion

Search for Weather database editor and you can add it, and it will work fine.

I've not done it but here is the solution from the wiki pages:
Add Small Citys to the Weather View
Install WeatherDatabaseEditor_1_1
Go to Accu Weather Homepage
Enter the City u would like to add
Copy the Text from the URL which appears then: EUR|DE|GM001|STUTTGART Example
Here: EUR|DE|GM001|STUTTGART
Copy this one in the WeatherDatabaseEditor.You have to CHoose your Country above and then Click Edit->Add City and under Accu Weather Code u paste in the copied Code and have teh City u want.

may not be running weather database editor. when I start up the program, I get a box where it is,, file write protection of database could't removed. what is wrong can someone help me

1. copy 2330fc3c_manila from windows to somewhere (use totalcommander / resco explorer)
2. edit properties: remove "read only"
3. stop TF3D (settings/personal/today/items/ )
4. copy 2330fc3c_manila from somewhere to windows (overwrite old one)
5. start TF3D (c above)
changing properties in /windows didn't work on my blackstone

In my ROM, the file 2330fc3c_manila is a ROM file. The file can not be changed.

It can be changed as most of the manila files are cooked into rom. You need to ensure you remove read only protection on ur computor, edit using sql lite.... see this post...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4084829&post#9406

Guys, does anyone suffer the same problem I do with using new cities in the db?
I have Dutty's 3.9XT but suspect this is the same for all ROMS. I can add my local city without a problem using the weather database but then I cannot use it as my local time as the timezone is way out. This means that I have to use another original city with the consequence that it is this city's weather that is shown in my calender.
There must be a way to fix the timezone for any added cities given that those in the original db are correct. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Whilst you have added the city correctly, it sounds like you havent changed the timezone whilst adding the city. When using sql lite, look at your city entry and alter the timezone (period is in minutes) to 0 (it is probably set at something like 180 or what ever. Also make sure the msid code is set for 85 for UK.
Alter that and do the usual routine of applying the manila file, soft reset, and voila you should be able to apply it as you should.
Any problems, send tell me your city and i can alter it for you.

Thanks (and apologies for the duplicate post in Dutty's). I was actually asking how to do it in the weather database editor. Never tried SQL Lite. But will give it a go.
OK, tried SQLite and is obviously beyond my capabilities. How do I find my city entry in this? I am no db guy hence the fact that I thought that the weather app would handle this type of thing.

Im actually in the process of doing a guide in Q&A on how to do this when using m2d & m3d

Many thanks for the offer to help but after a further search, I found SQLite Administrator and can now edit the db. Strangely enough, the timezone was correct but the msid was not.
Have successfully changed the settings in the db and my home town now indicates the correct timezone. I can now see the weather correctly in the calender. Many thanks again for your invaluable help on this matter.

Hi the easiest way is too turn off Manila(TouchFlo3D) in settings/today and after that start the editor and add your cities... Worked on my HD with Dutty´s HD WM6.5 R6 Turbo WWE
