Flash update failed during update

I tried updating both the PDA ROM and the RSU.
The PDA ROM updated OK, to 3.2.17 and then I tried to upgrade the RSU to 4.21.
Basically I got to 1% loaded then got a message saying the Flash Update failed. The device re-starts then I get the same error.
Tried deleting the PROGRAMME B from the start menu, removing it then tryong again, no joy.
Any ideas?

Code:
Download the XDA-Developers ROM Version 1.1.
Install the ROM on your Device via SD-Card and bootloader.
The phone should start up and give you the screen allignment and the whole menu!
Download an Upgrade for your device. This depends ont the model you are using. Check the sticker at the back of your device.
If it is a PW10A-Model download RSU Version 4.16.
If it is a PW10B-Model download RSU Version 6.24.20.
Extract the downloaded ZIP-File and copy all files to the /Windows directory of your device.
Copy the RSUpgrade.exe additional to the /windows/startup directory.
Make an soft reset of your device.
Maybe the upgrade will stop again at 1%, this may occur when you have an empty battery.
Place your device in the cradle. Run Active Sync on your device.
The RSU Upgrade will run in the background.
Wait for about 10 Minutes. The upgrade should complete in the background....
Afterwards all should work again...

i have problem with my PDA (Qtek 1010), once i reset ,it is not working, it shows the message "This ROM was cooked in the XDA-developere.com ROM kitchen cooked to order.to suit your demanding taste" & stopped on this screen only,i tried lot of time, but still the same prblm . so plz, can u assist , how to over come frm this prblm.

Complete scene what happen:
I m trying to connect using IR to laptop, that time it
hangup, so I made soft reset. After I made reset It will not start,
thn I tried lot of time soft and hard reset, It will showing only
initial screen " This ROM was cooked in the xda-developers.com ROM
Kitchen cooked....." and stopped here only. It is not loading the
operating system. So please do need full. I ill grateful for u.

How to Flash your Device using bootloader and SD-Card....
1. Download XDATools
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Wallaby/Tools/XDATools.zip
2. Extract them at any place and run osimagetool
3. Select your Rom Image from the Source drop down menu.
4. Select your SD card (disk drive) from Destination the drop down menu.
5. Select Copy to start writing process and the tool should start writing to
the card.
6. When XDATools has finished writing the image (no Infomessage) put the
SD-card into your device
7. If there comes a message to format the SD-card select No
8.
Hold the power button and soft reset. You'll be taken to the below screen:
SD DOWNLOAD
Card Type:
CE OS & BOOT
Press action to Download
Or
Press REC to Exit
9. Press action to download and it will start the download/restore from the
SD card.
10. Follow the on screen instructions once its "Completed" which will consist
of a " Hard Reset"

Since the ROMs are a exe fiel, you have to extract the exe file using winzip.
You get a folder english containig the ROM NK.nbf with about 32 MB....
You can use all ROM's excpet the WM2003SE
But now i m getting the error " After complete, I made hard reset, its on first screen as "Test Only Not for Sale, Microsoft Windows powered" message with version details and stopped here only. It is not moving ahead. So plz can u instruct further wht to do

Just put "RUU_signed.nbh" from O2 orginal image to root directory
and after Hard reset with bootloder modus ?

" 1. Empty (erase the contents) of your microSD card from the Windows Mobile file explorer or format it from your computer using a card reader (in some cases format doesn't work).
2. Extract the .NBH file from your prefered ROM upgrade: In windows use winrar (right click) to extract the contents of the exe file. In Linux / MacOS use cabextract.
3. Rename the .NBH file to ARTEIMG.nbh and copy it to the root folder of your microSD card.
4. With microSD card inserted on the phone, start the bootloader (The bootloader is invoked by pressing down the Record button and using the stylus at the same time to press the RESET button at the left side).
5.You should see the screen pictured on the left, confirm flashing on screen by pressing the volume slider down.
6. Flashing might hang after some time but this is normal. Just wait. Complete flash takes about 30 minutes, so check your battery or connect to charger before the flashing process starts.
!!!! SuperCID devices are able to flash any NBH image using this method. "

I unbricked my Orbit with the original ROM from O2.
Firstly put your Orbit in Bootloader mode (reset and record button)
Then using the task manager stop ActiveSync processes.
Then connect the phone via USB and then run the RUU program.
Works fine!

Need Help "unbricking" my friends phone

Friend got a vogue but he "bricked it" he doesnt even remember what he did,
he is very new at this and looks like he did a rom update without doing a radio update first.
i have an HTC titan but i am going to buy this vogue off of him if i can fix it.
so here is the issue...
when u start the goes it goes to the 3 color tri-color boot screen...
it goes right there without even me holding down the power and camera buttons.
i used mtty to get it out of that screen... i do set 16 0 and some other thing i can't remember for the life of me now in mtty
i reboot the phone and now it get the a custom Dette clean rom 6.1 splash screen but it says no Radio and it now just stuck there.
i tried to load the stock rom on a 2 gig fat32 formated flash card and inserted it into the phone. then boot it to the 3 color screen, and it just says no file! in gray backbground then goes back to the tri color screen...
i made sure the name was correct.. i tried "Voguimg.nbh" i tried "voguimg." and just "voguimg" then i tried it in all caps and then all first letter cap then rest lower case...
it is spl-2.01.1000
i think my friend flashed the rom without upgrading the spl as well.
i tried to flast it with sp 2.31 but i couldnt get it to load it. i guess i can't flasth to 2.31 in the tri color screen...
any ideas? any help would be greatly apreciated. spent about a week on this... probably about 2 to 3 hours reading and reseaching daily.

I even tried to stock vogue roms (this is a verizon phone)
but i tried even the following sprint stock roms:
RUU_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_1.12.651.1_2.13.00_SPC_NV133_Ship.exe
this gets me to 1% then errors out
and says error 328 invalid command, this update utility can not be used with my phone. please check my update utility... wat
RUU_PPST_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.2_Radio_3.42.30_AM_NV_2.04_Ship.exe
this one stays at 0%
tried the verizon stock rom...
which stays at 0%
i dont know if the spl has something to do with it but i read the first file i mentioned the stock rom 1.12... reloads the spl, boot loader, everything to original.

I noticed when I first flashed my phone, also xv6900, that when I was unlocking, I didn't fully complete it, and it showed SPL version 2.10, or something along that line.
There is no stock VZW ROM available, so that's a waste of time. I think the first problem is, you have no idea how it got that way. I'd assume your friend didn't complete the unlocking process, then ran the RUU for the new ROM.
I'm not 100% sure, hopefully someone can either correct me on this, or confirm.
You should be ok since you can enter the bootloader. Perhaps you could try relocking it, you would use ImCokeMan's relocker, should be SPL version 0.43. Then you could try unlocking again.
I'd suggest checkin at PPCGeeks, asking in either the general Vogue flashing threads, or try asking ImCokeMan himself.

i will try .43, i am trying .41 but it keeps saying no device connected would you like to try copying again?

actually i thought it was working... but now it is stuck at the
"Loading... " screen
i have verizon... using a verizon signed ruu
when i use a sprint signed ruu it says
Loading...
then in 2 seconds... it says
Checking...
then in a few seconds it says....
Not Allowed...
then goes back to the tri- color screen
ill let it stay at Load... and then goto sleep and see if it finished tomorrow morning before football starts

I have successfully unbricked my phone due to updating the Alltel rom to a non Alltel Vogue, before IMCokeman had released his unlocker an also have downgraded to the previous SPL version. I will shortly update this post with the How to instructions. I just need to retrace my steps.
I would first like to thank IMCokeMan for his help and unlocker.
I currently have a Sprint Vogue but I assume this will work for all versions
For those that had loaded the Alltel rom without the unlocker and have bricked there phone try this procedure to unbrick your phone.
1. First download IMCokeMaN's 2.31 Unlocker. http://rapidshare.com/files/11019074...r_MFG_2.31.exe
2. Extract IMCokeMan's unlocker
Previous SPL version was 2.31 current SPL version is 0.36

3. Navigate to the extracted folder and within the folder you will find the following file called VOGUIMAG2.nbh and rename it to VOGUIMG.nbh
4. Copy the file to a fat32 memory card, and insert it back into your phone, and place it into bootloader mode.
5. The phone should display Loading... let it sit there for a minute or so. It will not go past this screen, now reboot the phone.
6. Extract your official rom using WINRAR by right click and extract files (Must be a signed EXE from your carrier get it from HTC support website)
7. Navigate to the extracted folder and within the folder you will find the files
8. Copy the files to your memory card (less than 2gb and formated fat32) and insert it back into the phone and place it back into bootloader mode(POWER+CAMERA+RESET USING STYLUS), and install the your Carrier's Official ROM.
I have attached the VOGUIMG.nbh file for those that are having problems.

these instructions do not seem to work me.
he has a sprint phone... he assumes it works for all types but i have a verizon phone... and on a signed verizon nbh file ... it only says loading... and gets stuck there... on step 6... and a sprint rom says loading.. and then says checking right away and then says not allowed in red and goes back to the 3 color screen.
also the poster of this mentions he has spl 2.31... my spl says spl-2.01.1000 which is not .40 .41 or 2.31 (the most comment spl's i have seen referenced)
has anyone ran into these conditions? spl 2.01... stuck, and has verizon.
mine was originally stuck at the 3 -color boot screen... even after taking battery out and putting it back in and just powering on without holding camera-power keys... it goes into the boot screen only...
so i used mtty did set 16 0 and then "boot" and now when i restart the phone it goes right to the splash screen and gets stuck there saying dette's clean rom ... but "no radio" and just stays there.

hi i was upgrading my p3300 rom its almost 90% done but my pc suddenly shutdown now my p3300 hang on startup screen i was try to flash with MMC but its also hang on tri-colours plz plzzzzzzzzzzz give me solution &
It also works ROM update mode (Three colors screen) but when I execute the Rom update frommy pc, it reaches 2/3% and gives different Errors depending the ROM

look up the original factory rom of your phone and flash it on your phone doing the normal way
