If I buy a MDA Compact III that's bin used with a T-Mobile subscription, than is it posbile to use a T-Mobile prepaid simcard with this MDA ? Or do I need to unlock the phone by using the imei-unlock site ?

I think its a no brainer....
T-Mobile (whether pre or post paid) will work as the handset is locked to the network, and no to the SIM...at least mine does

Ok I have a G3 T-Mobile MDA. I don't want to go to Sprint or another network I like T-Mobile is there any reason to unlock??
