I concur. Though I've never used Vito for that reason, I know others that have. I own and use it just for the dictation, bad ass app, worth every cent.
Others still dont let you record two way conversation. new version vito lets record on auto speakerphone. and it works for me.
Doesn't Work

I like the HTC-Voice-Recorder, it's simple and easy to use without the stylus..only the quality is so bad! The Notes program can record in nice quality..so the mic. is not the problem..
Anyone know how to improve the quality with HTC-Voice-Recorder?
Or, does anyone know a Prog which works on the Hermes WM6.1, which records directly to mp3s in moderate high quality?
I used to have one, but it broke up every 20secs or so and was unusable that way..
Thx for any infos

I tried Resco Audio Recorder, the problem with it was that the recorded file kept breaking up every 20secs or so..and the lower settings were to bad quality as far as I remember..
Hello!
I want to know where the audio files recorded with HTC Voice Recorder are filed on my mobile?

I am using Microsoft Recite.
Maybe you could try NoteM, I have used this for years, not sure if it works on 6.1 or not but it's worth a shot. It's free, why not?

This reg key is only to enable "2 way in call recording" !!! Your software will start automatic or not. I use ACR with automatic start.
ok !!! chill...lol
Does it work for VITO Audio Note Touch.
I had try VITO But in call other person can not hear me.
So I use ACR1.2 but the sound quality so bad.
Thank for the future.

How is the quality?
yeah, it works but the quality is so poor
What Voice recorder do you have for HD Mini ?
I think the HTC Mini HD is the same core like the HD2.
Do exist a ICR .cab extracted from a HD2 ROM?
Unfortunately it looks that full 2 side call recording didn't work with the HTC Mini?
Elena
ACR om HTC HD Mini
I tried this and I recorded a conversation on my mini. Sound quality of the second line is like a cancer of the ear
So, i'm about to get a new phone which MAY be an SGS2.
However i need to know if it can record calls properly, without all this external speaker bull**** ?
Currently i own SGS and its useless in this regard.
If SGS2 doesnt record properly, which of new dualcores does ?
Yes it does. Just use CallRecorder from the market.
CallRecorder works great on the S2, the quality of the sound is perfect. The downside is that when you transfer the wav. file to your laptop, the file format is not recognised.
I have downloaded some software to my pc that converts wav format to mp3 but the file is still not recognised.
Any advice please.
There seems to be quite a few CallRecorder apps on the market, could you please give a market link to the one you are referring too please.
Call recorder has a little green android next to it in market.

No, it doesnt
Killer mobile have just updated their Total Recall app for android and cleared out a couple bugs, this now seems to work just fine for me. It also has the option to record in 3gp, wav, mp3, amr, plus you can auto upload to evernote or e-mail out through gmail.
Call quality is pretty good, only downside is it will not work with blue tooth head sets, correction it does work and record but you cant hear the person your talking to but the recording comes out fine lol.
Ill try the other one recommended here and see if its any better on the quality side but best thing for me with TR is you can set it to prompt at the end of the call to save or not so routine calls or family ones can be deleted without taking up space, you can also use as a dictaphone with a instant record button widget and remote sms into it to record when you have left it in a room and want to know what's been said if your feeling a little paranoid lol.
Is there any free call recorder which works without having to install new ROM?
I use stock 2.3.3 ROM and would like to continue using stock ROM.
I saw "audio hack" on forum - is it needed?
Maybe I have to upgrade to 2.3.5?
Maybe I need kernel supporting it (I use Speedmod)?
I've tried 5 programs and all of them doesn;t record anything or records silence. (dind't try TotalRecall because it isn't free).
alternatively you can try MIUI rom which comes with build in call recording. =)
I don't want MIUI, I don't want alternative ROM, I only need to know why sometimes call recording works, and sometimes doesn't. Is it ROM problem, kernel problem, lack of libraries problem?
Search forum for hacked call app it has native call recording works with any rom.

I've searched but found nothing. Can you you give me more directions?
I use callrecorder from svalec, it works perfectly with stock kernel.
Total Recall with recording strategy C works perfect.

Please stop spamming about Total Recall, all threads about call recording are full of that. Total Recall isn't free and I ask for a free solution.
I've tried callrecorder, it seems to work, thank you!

hello guys
I want to buy this phone for myself, but before I buy I wanna confirm if ACR works on this phone.
I know it has built in call recorder, but I want this app specifically to work.
Link- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nll.acr
Can anyone kindly check and confirm for me?
It recorded calls for me but there was no audio in the recordings

Yes.. same. Are you aware of another recording app that can record calls without default one.

Sadly, no. I've never had the need to use a call recorder app. Also, have you bought the phone already?

Does default one work properly? If yes, why do you want others?
I think android 10 has a feature to block call recorders.
