1: Jasjar is too heavy for a leather case with clip. Aluminum, no problem, but leather is too soft and to weak to hold it like that
2: Some internet shops do offer slightly lower prices, but the difference is compensated by the fact that Piel Frama includes shipping in the price. If you want quality, be prepared to pay for it. I love Piel Frama, Covertec and Vaja, and for me there is no alternative.
3: If you really want cheap, go with http://shop.brando.com.hk They offer rock bottom prices and decent quality.
Piel Frama
I have the great chace to visit Piel Frama in the south of Spain. I was talking with the co-workers, all are really friendly and open to ear you what do you need. I was talking with the "gain" and I asked for made a special case. A couple days after I have a new model for my Jasjar, beautiful and always in my belt.
They really made a handworked job, artesanal. Try to send an e-mail and ask for your ideal case or whatever.

ebay
hi,
i got my piel frama case at ebay.de (germany, don't know about availability in israel) at €39,95, which is by far the cheapest i have seen and more than compensates for the free shipping piel frama offers. it was an original, came in the original nice box and all!
here's a link, this is the same guy i bought it from (recommended!)
http://cgi.ebay.de/Piel-Frama-Leder...843636129QQcategoryZ38994QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I came across this deal on ebay (UK):
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5845495318&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1
Please, find as attachment the pictures you ask me.
how much did you add moeny ?
Excuse me, I don't understand your question, can you repeat it please?
I think he means how much did it cost. Or how much EXTRA did it cost?
Apologies if that's not what you meant, but even so, I'd like to know the answer as I think that case looks rather nice.
As I wrote, I was in the south of Spain, I visit the Piel Frama Store in Ubrique and I meet every worker. The gave me a big favor, and I didn't pay extra money. As everyone knows, we have a special device, ist to heavy and has a lot of buttons. They also learn with people like you or me, the listen the customer and then they develope new models or ideas.
I think it's great that they did that for you at no extra cost. I wonder if they will add your case to their list of available cases.
Do you find that the clear plastic sheet over the keyboard traps a lot of dust? This is the only thing that is stopping me from buying one of these casesd at the moment.
Melty, I know somebody who has the new model and he has no problem, in fact, he told me the plastic is a very good quality, support the JJ without no problems. Yo can also press any key without no problems.
My case, dosen't has the plastic you mentioned.
Aha! So part of your modification was to remove the plastic. Did you have to change anything else to hold the Universal more securely? In other words, do you think that if I bought a standard case and just removed the plastic myself it would still hold the device safely? (i.e. does the plastic hold the device at all?) If so then I will definitely buy one. Sorry for all these questions, but I don't want to buy a case which does not do what I want!
Not, I took the first one, til then, Piel Frama modified the case. Why? Costumer said they have some problems to close the JJ totally. So Piel Frama received a disclaim and start to work in a new model. The model is with plastic as you saw in Piel Frama Internet page. I have the old one, I used a lot so I don't have any proble to close the JJ. A friend of mine has a review and some pics. http://sagit1964.blogspot.com/2005/12/funda-avestruz-by-piel-fra_113440007311726582.html
Hope I help you a litte bit.
I see. So it's possible that removing the plastic would make the case less secure (i.e. the Universal could fall out).
Thanks for all your help.
My idea, the plastic is an advance to protec your Jasjar and the Qwerty. Do not remove it.
Remember, Piel Frama, only make case for our Jasjar without the extra accesory we were talking about. Is my responsability, they told me, the Jasjar is more than 285 grs. is to heavy for this kind of material (the plastic for belt) dosen't work for a long terms. So, that's why they sold that case without the belt plastic accesory.
This is my 3 Piel Frama Case and always with the best quality, that's why they sell the produts in more than half world. Handmade!!!!
well, I am glad to hear happy people. My case is still in its box and there will remain. the new design didn't improve it, to my modest opinion. closing issues still remain and moreover the plastic is horrible.
i paied 70 euros and saw it on a site (I will post the URL but now don't remember) at about 50!
anyway, it is not the price. it is just that I think they could think of a different holding system but still want to stick with the same one.
bye
Hey Alex!!!
Howse it going mate? Still not sore at me i hope
I am quite happy with my Piel Frama case and highly recommend it to everyone. Regarding the price factor, the reason you find it cheaper elsewhere is because Piel Frama include's shipping charge in their price and the shipping method is through UPS worldwide which means you receive the case in 2 working days doesn't matter where you are
I would ask you to try out the case for sometime again, you just might like it the 2nd time around.
Cheers!

While it is listed on Amazon it's from a third party seller and availability is listed at 3 to 5 weeks.
I'm waiting for it too
i heard it will start shipping between may 4th to the 6th. Am waiting to get my hands on one as well. Am not happy with the current price point. Especially the amazon price. I have seen others online with way less. Maybe the price will balance out once it is release. But it's a good investment, considering the device it is for. That's less then a best buy insurance for a year. So i won't mine buying one at that price if it stays that way.
The tech specs show the case as .84" but I think that is without the stand. Anyone hear how thick the combination of case and stand will be?
Looks like this case is for folks with hard wear situations only. No sure how appropriate it will be for normal use. Thoughts?
i do believe it's on the thick side. as most of the outterbox cases are. they sometime makes lighter version. but i mean for what i spend on this baby, i'll want to get the best jacket for her. it will keep her safe from everything, weather to falls. even the dog. lol
MobileCityOnline.com is taking preorders at 69.99 and have a in stock date of 05/06 listed. Think I'll pass on the rooCASE now that I know when the otterbox will ship.

I wanted to pass along my opinion on a sleeve-type case I recently purchased for my GT-7510. I was looking for a higher-end case, something that would protect the Tab and also look good.
After looking at a number of brands, I decided to look at the products of a company calles SFBags. They offered a number of items for tablets, from sleeves to smaller sized messeger bags.
I contacted the company to ask about their products and they were very helpful, asking for the measurements of my Tab (with the bumper) and what I needed from a case. After several email exchanges, they suggested I try one of their small messenger bags, knowing that I may need to return it. I purchased the bag and received it in three days. The bag was really nice, but it was too big for the Tab.
I contacted them again and they were very helpful in assisting me in selecting the alternative, the Tablet Ultimate SleeveCase. I placed the order and the case arrived a week later - the delay because SFBags was waiting on their maker to complete an order.
The sleeve arrived and it was a perfect fit. The staff was very helpful in getting me a size that could accomodate my Tab, with a bumper installed.
You can see the products at sfbags.com. I would have included some images, but I am a new poster and the forum blocked the links to those photos. Sorry.
The case is very high quality and it even has a small loop on the bottom of the case to give you leverage when you pull the Tab out of the sleeve. The inside of the case is padded with soft material that I believe will protect the Tab from most mishaps and there is a flap cover that is secured with a large velcro strip. Finally, there is a small pouch on the back for storage. I ordered a size #41, to accomodate my Tab with the bumper. You'd need a #40 if you want a sleeve for naked Tab. My only observation is that the pouch on the back would benefit from some way to secure the top so items can't slip out. It would also be nice to offer a place to store a pen or stylus. But those are really trivial issues.
I also want to give a shout-out to the staff at SFBags. They are all very helpful, professional and want you to be satisified with your purchase. In fact, when I had to return the original purchase, I received an email from their CEO, who let me know that they were committed to help me get a case that met my needs. I can't say enough about their level of service and the quality of their products.
Anyone know if cases from these two manufacturers are on the way? Would love a nice high quality case from either.
Otterbox has no comment on what it's plans are...
All we can do is email them/call and ask for the case to be made...
Keep contacting them!
I am a Sprint Rep and I emailed my Otterbox rep that has sent me several cases for friends and family for free and below is his response when I asked him when the case would be available for the Epic 4G Touch.
The current case for the Galaxy II S is the international version and does not fit the Sprint version. I do not believe we have plans to make a case for the Epic Touch 4G. I took out his name and personal info. just for his sake....LOL!!
Thank you for the support!

I see seidio has a section up for the E4GT but its only cables and cradles at this point, no batteries or cases yet. I'm keeping an close eye out though cuz I loved my last Innocase.
Case Mate cases are coming soon (end of this month). They are even better than Otterbox from my experience.
Transmission sent from a Galaxy S II.
Seidio has already said they're going to make a case for the E4GT, but unfortunately no ETA. You can sign up for updates on their site.

OB lost my money when I got the EVO
Seidio won me
I'm betting that most major companies are waiting to see sales numbers for the first month before committing the money and time it takes to make multiple cases.
Im sure Seidio will hook me up.
I like OB, they just waited too long
to put out a case IMO for the EVO.

Just like you, we’d love for our cases to be available right when a device is, however we need the device in hand to analyze and design to the exact specifications. We conduct extensive research and testing to ensure we make a precision-fit case for each device. In our design process, we make certain nothing is missed and the correct approach is implemented. We need to work directly with the device in order to deliver OtterBox quality and that’s why our cases appear on the shelves a month or two later. Great design takes time and we appreciate your patience! Please take the time to sign up on the website to receive email notification as soon as the cases are available.
Thank you

I guess whenever they feel like it. Sounds like I might end up like jfoster...I want to protect my phone with a well designed, tough case so whoever makes it first will receive my business.
Seidio Surface Innocase in black is now listed as shipping, plus it lists one in blue as "in development".
Also has the Active case listed as in development now too.
is otterbox coming before christmas?
Check out the Silicone Moto 360 Bumpers from SnuG Watchbands! Can't post a link on here but you can find them on funwatchbands and amazon . Youtube snugwatchbands
http://funwatchbands.com
Nice. But not $18 for shipping to UK nice!
Wow.. those are ... uh... different.
Funwatchbands sent me an email after seeing my post above I assume and gave me a $13.99 discount code! So I've got two coming as all I had to pay was the $18 postage.
Nice one guys, thanks Will let people know if any good when they arrive.
Yikes, $18 shipping to Canada too. For something that could be stuffed into a small envelope for shipping, this is a deal breaker. They're nice, though.
Quite like the straps too. But I'll see what these bumpers are like first.
Hey developers! Thanks for your support!
SnuG Watchbands were designed by a Moto 360 owner who was searching for products like them and found they didn't exist. They worked very hard to quickly make new high quality accessories that will only enhance the watch. The watchbands are perfect and we love ours. We are most certain you will agree they are sweat, stain, and odor resistant, very durable, and incredibly comfortable.
The protector cases are a completely new unique product that are an additional way to customize your watch. They were designed to be something that didn't disturb function, and added some protection. We have been wearing a 3rd generation prototype around and have been amazed at how many people now compliment us on our watch. The current protector cases were made in a limited production so demand could be determined, and we could make sure they were perfect. They are now only offered with snug bands for sale on our website.
We decided that the protector cases are perfect for now, but we still can be improved a bit. We think you will agree for now, since nothing else like this exists, something is better than nothing. SnuG watchbands is quickly working on a mass produced version with smoother edges and an even better fit.
We will be updating our followers on social media of the progress, but you should be able to find new and improved protector cases available for individual purchase at Funwatchbands by mid January.
We are also sending out a coupon with every purchase so customers can get a free updated protector or 50% off a package of 6 when they are ready in mid January.
As for our international shipping we apologize and are working on updating rates. We currently have a blanket rate set while we determine and set specific country pricing. Feel free to contact us and we can try to update you a better rate if country specific shipping does not come up.
Also chris we hope you enjoy the band we included with your package
Ooh seriously can't wait for the parcel to arrive now! Thanks guys, merry Christmas!
i just want the black bumper, but it looks like i have to buy the strap too. pass
Not worth more than $10-$15 bucks to me, pass.

Updated International shipping cost on funwatchbands
Hey all just wanted to report that we have been able to cut our shipping cost down for customers overseas at funwatchbands.com! We currently now have $8 flat rate shipping across the globe with $6 to Canada and are working to find ways to bring the rates down even more and make shipping faster. We have been getting some really great feedback on the SnuG bands and can't wait for more people to try them! We also want to send an extra discount to thank you for your support!
Use code XDADEVELOPERS at checkout until Jan 7th 2015 to take 10 percent off your order.
The protectors we offer now with the bands were made in a limited production from a sample mold, because of limited stock we currently just have them available with the bands. We will have our mass produced protectors available in packs of 2 or 6 within a couple weeks. The mass produced protectors will have smoother edges and offer an even better and more secure fit.

Kind of pointless. Expensive watches have been around for hundreds of years.
If a $6000+ Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute doesn't need a "protector" I think my $300 watch should be just fine.

If I had a $6000+ watch, I'd have insured it for accidental damage which negates the necessity for anything else. I'm unlikely however to insure my $300 smartwatch. So there is a market.
In fairness though, I get the impression SnuG's initial priority was presentation over protection. Additionally though, this is the age of technology product customisation. There are countless websites providing vinyl wraps for almost every product you can think of to change appearances. Given the smartwatch is an extension of the smartphone, with such a massive market of cases, bumpers etc. for smartphones it only seems logical companies would start manufacturing similar products for smartwatches too.
Having first hand experience, I can wholeheartedly say their products are well made and look good. If protection is just an added bonus, I'm happy with that. I personally like the idea of changing the 360 appearance now and then. Not all the time, but on occasion it's novel to do so. The bumpers are great, the straps are even better IMHO.

I've had my Casio Pathfinder for many years and I've had various small bangs, accidents and 'oop' moments with my watch. What prevented anything happening to my screen & glass (which I imagine is quite tough anyway) was because the watch has a raised bezel all around the screen. Prevents much contact to the glass itself.
So I find items like this far from pointless!
Think of it as 'Physical Insurance'
---------- Post added at 02:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:10 AM ----------
My only concern with ANY silicon type casing or skin is that it can trap dirt, grit etc inside the skin and that small tiny piece of grit is kept in place by the silicon skin and just starts to wear, scratch and dig itself into your 'protected' item, whether it's a watch, phone, tablet etc.
This happened to my phone. One tiny piece of grit just moved about under the silicon skin and over time, caused a lot of scratching.
Granted, the case/skin will protect your watch from major scrapings and mishaps but I always have that small concern.
I've seen some of the 3d printed 360 bumpers and wasn't too impressed, especially with the finish.
