I have the O2 ROM installed, and it have many Bugs.
So i hope smb can tell me which GERMAN ROM is the Best.

I thaught there was only one German WM6 rom available at the moment. The one from O2.
If you ask for a WWE rom, I tried them all. And for me the best rom at the moment is the one from PDAMobiz. The most stable, and the less bugs.
But the one from tom_codon (Black and Blue) is good too. Only a few minor bugs. Like SMS and email is not working. But Tom is working on a new release for it.
Is it an official O2 WM6 ROM? Where'd you get it? Can you supply a link? My Orbit is currently "bricked" and i am trying to get it fixed.

Already tried this. This is the GERMAN one. Gets to about 3% then the phone resets.

just goto migsoft and get it fixed
Thanks for your reply. Already tried this route. They are unable to help me. Phone has now been fixed under warranty by O2, unlocked by imei-check and successfully flashed to BEPE's WM6 ROM. If anyone can suggest a better ROM then please let me know.

Hi guys, I understand all the roms were taken off this site but I need some help.
I bought the HTC excalibur today and it has a test rom on it. as a result I cannot use wifi as it says driver is not found. Where can I find the latest htc excalibur rom.

your device may not have the hardware. The test ROM on my device had no problems with WiFi but some devices have been sold without the hardware and the firmware that has the WiFi drivers makes no difference.

I really want to upgrate to WM6 as soon as possible. My phone operator offer me some services (emails, web, messenger) only if I use the prvided settings and applications.
If I upgrade to WM6 and things don't work, is going back to factory state as simple to flashing HTC WM5 + EXT ROM ?

I was wondering the same thing: I would like to upgrade to WM6, but not without having a backup of the WM5 rom supplied by the Wireless Network Operator.
I searched the forum on how to backup the rom, but was unable to find any usable information. Anybody would like to help us out?
you can't back it up in that way.
just download one of the wm5 roms posted here.
1. The original WM5 ROM for the s620 is available. It's out there online if you do a little searching. It used to be hosted here. I ran it on my Dash for months before going to WM6.
2. HTC is going to be releasing the WM6 update soon. This will be a MUCH better firmware than T-Mobile's. Also, if you wait for it, you won't have to worry about unlocking or anything.

I was able to find an unbranded rom (not sure if it the latest... which is the latest French version ?) but if smart phones doesn't contain ext rom, where are the customizations ?
My french phone operator is Ten Mobile. I think it will be tricky to find that particular rom.

i think you will find that it isnt available yet..
Hi - its possible to dump the rom but to make the dump into anything flashable is not easy. The official o2 uk wm6 rom is not out yet. What would be interesting is could you tell us the os number on the boot screen - will Be 3.400 or 3.500 etc.. Also the build no in settings\about please. Any new apps? everything working ok? - german o2 rom midlet manager was not working and mms missing. Screenshots would be good if possible.

Thanks for the pictures. As i thought much the same as the o2 german rom. I can see the ipl,spl has gone up to 3 - interested to know if that works with pof's uspl - if it doesnt people will have problems reflashing - i would just flash the os until its confirmed that uspl works with this ipl,spl.
btw does the orbit boot faster than with wm5 and what camera version does it use?
Doesn't look overly worthwhile installing it tbh, the HTC release was version 3.7 of Windows so is already ahead. Think I'll be sticking to the custom version I've cooked for myself tbh

i have tried cooked roms but there is always something wrong with it and my gps hardly ever works on them!

I have an O2 Orbit too, and flashed it with every single cooked rom. Yes I tried every single of them. And my GPS always worked, never had any probs with it. So don't think it's because the cooked roms...

I have an o2 Xda Diamond DIAM300, bought from Germany. I flashed the developer version of Olinex HardSPL (confirmed by SPL 1.40 Olinex in the tri-color screen). What I need now is a WWE rom to flash. I tried 2-3 1.93.xx roms from here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400411, but they all stop at 1% progress into the flash (as if I've no HardSPL). Any ideas?
I got the same phone, from o2. I tried the 1.4 version before i switched to the 1.93 version from olinex. Since i use this i can flash any available rom.

Do you might know which Rom is the most current offical German HTC Rom and can provide me a downloadlink. On this page here are so many different links concerning this topic, that i am nearly loosing the overview

is the best version in german language. Im german too, but i use panoshas athena 0.8 rom.
I tried all available roms in the last days. Panoshas was the only cooked one without bugs, and the most stable, with a nice battery life but in english
The fastest official rom is the norwegian release, but i prefer the hk_wwe rom, which is also in english.

I will stick to the German Rom for a while, I do like to have my phone in German
It was hard for me too, to switch the language, but you can change any settings and layouts to german, including a full german tf3d. Only WM 6.1 is still in the flashed rom language.
Hiya guys, i am really new to this and just got my first WM device a few days ago from O2, i have the Diamond/Ignito, and was hoping to flash the official HTC rom onto it, however there are a few things i cant find out.
i need to know what the SMS and WEP settings are and how to input them?
Because i have the free unlimited web bolt on i dont want to occur any charges for web browsing etc.
Also do the settings apply for 3G and all the other things the Diamond supports, or are they separate?
After i know this i can start looking for a ROM, and hope i can even flash it with the ROM thats already installed.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
