just tried it, actually still trying it for a couple of hours. first glance, seems faster than anything before. but as with all black roms, most probably it is not that stabil. for me, dutty's rom was most stabil so far, and farias rom was the one i liked the most. and ive tried most of them, if not all of them.
no going to schaps, heard nice things about his rom.

I use Custel and I don't think I'll switch but I wanted to say I liked the specs and look of your rom its very nice.

Its based on the 17913.0.3.0 imgfs graft which is a highly reliable collaboration from many chefs. m$ may not beat this from a reliability/performance aspect until they release AKU 1.0

damn right! also this ROM has the newest OEM packages (from roms already leaked) packaged in a modular fashion (ie, OEMapps is split into seperate packages), so you can decompile, remove and recompile to your own liking.
the only reason this work was done in regards to the black project is due to the somewhat broken BT stack and intermitted power consumption issues in the RTM 17745 build. Lets see how this black holds up.

The big question remains open. Would I finally find my way out from the frequent SODs.. None ROM has yet made it for some (me included) and I tried personally all hacks, tricks, wisdom, you name it.

SDHC support is listed under the "changelog" but Black Shadow supports SDHC cards (I am using a 4gb microSDHC with it right now).
that being said, I will probably upgrade to Majik tonight after work

Hi, just installed this ROM and now playing around...
I started Media Player and played a 5 minute song. At that point my program memory dropped from 29 Mb to 10 Mb, THAT'S 19 Mb!!!
Is this normal? (could be, never noticed it with other ROMs)

Seems quick so far and I like the boot screen and the audio manager plugin, very nice. Oh, also the touchflo or as some like to call buttonflo works after simply running alpha and sr .

dangit! im just resisting the urge.. it has come to the point that im trying to deliberately make my current ROM (BS4) crash on me and force me to HR. then i can update. but just to think of the re-installing again.... anyways, i think itll be worth the time..

New Schap's ROMs coming June 2008 - Suggestions are welcome

I'm back after few months to anounce that I'm working again on new ROMs for Hermes and Kaiser, now that Windows Mobile 6.1 is officially released I hope to give you something new during this month.
Concerning my plans, I will certainly release localized WM6.1 ROMs, I don’t know yet if I will continue to release WM6.0 ROMs, it’s up to you! I will also finally support big storage for Hermes ROMs, and I would like to develop some new apps for our devices.
I’m open to suggestions, if you have any idea to develop, some apps/drivers to update, if you want to recommand a stable ROM base or if you have any request.
I would like to thank you again for your support, especially those of you who donated in the past, thanks to you I’ve got a TyTN and a TyTN II which will make my work much easier to create new ROMs and develop on those devices!

so far, the most stable base rom i have used is the 19202 rom, the newer one floating about on the forums, specifically this one:

GREAT NEWS!! I've been running your rom's exclusively since the day I bought my hermes. I've tried a few others for a day or two but always came back to yours. I look forward to a stable version of 6.1 and a new look for the purple today screen!!

Hey good to see that you are back in the Hermes section! And well, as I read your post - in the Calibri Font - I wondered if a WM6.1 default calibri font wouldn't look hot? What say the others? Some Test ScreenShots or some compareison screenshots between Tahoma/Calibri or even Segui would be cool... Could someone do that?
If you develop new stuff try to keep enough space for Hermes Ram, it's not the Kaiser(!), so the same application set for both devices wouldn't make sense...would it?
Currently there is no localized german Hermes-Rom, I know that this is not your priority, but I just want to mention that here

As several others mentioned, your ROMs are the best, and I too, appreciated your mad skillz and your excellent releases.
Keep up the great contributions to the TyTN -- because of you, I've actually been able to keep my phone for a record of over 1.5years! (Normally I upgrade phones every fews months )
Believed me, my wife is very happy with that

-Setup Voip (with a prepared ipdialplan.xml and dlls for the sound issue)

Modulize install set of cabs
How difficult would it be to create a base OS install and then allow the user to install those .cabs (included) as required. I know there are other threads where one can obtain these .cabs seperately. Just time saving hunting them down etc.
There are several WM6.0, 6.1 builds around which have installed software that either I dont need or the version may work on the system but cause lock-ups or conficts which the current OS e.g a .cab built for wm5.0 may have issues with 6.0 or 6.1.
Currently playing 19209.2.1.3 (beta)- no you wont find this out on the net yet, but give it time

A lite version would be great! I have used Pandora's Naked ROMS and am currently using FARIA R32 LITE. Being able to load only the programs I use has been the best choice for me. Plenty of available memory and very fast and stable.

ah, Im connected to pc vie AS, and had a few apps running, so its a few mb higher, and memory is gonna be worked more on in next release

Its a dynamic pagepool, so the device controls memory usage

Well thank you for your blatant, upfront rudeness to the Diamond community. It's like we don't even exist. Talk about someone that couldn't care less .
Love your ROMs itje, please do carry on by all means. Would love a version with the new Pointui Home 2 cooked in, and NO TF3D (which eats up precious RAM, battery, and slows the phone to a snail-like crawl)! I'm loving Pointui Home 2. Everything is smooth, bug-free and the phone carries on functioning smoothly without being affected.

Not bad at all, seems to manage memory very well. Report back in a few days after I use it, but so far A+

Nice Rom itje. Love the Blue trimmings. They are very refreshing. Also noticed:
1) FlipIt by Wildberry team works nicely with this ROM.
2) Long End Key Press appears not to be not included. Might be a nice addition. Anyone know where the cab for this is so I can add it myself?

can you upload one with just the default titanium theme? i like this rom but haven't been a fan of most titanium themes

also, i don't remember what dialer your V1 rom used (i've been reflashing my phone like every day lately, haha), but if it's the GSM dialer like from NFSFAN's rom, you should know that someone uncovered that you can't dial 911 with it

Biotouch may be there, im not sure... there were errors regarding it but they have been fixed.
Also, the dialer is just a generic diamond dialer.... so there shouldnt be any problems.

Good news to everyone who likes my rom. I have updated the sys version to 23016 and to put it bluntly, this is FAST. This rom is the fastest it has ever been. Memory footprint at 26%!! There are still a few things that need to be worked out before I release it. If there is anything you would like to see added, please let me know so I can work them in!

For the first startup screens, make it have an HTC screens, no colorful Vortex ones. I'm making this suggestion because people like it 'professional'.
Hope to see your ROM get a name!

Trying hard to get GPS to work, but it's very time consuming, especially when my kitchen was spewing corrupted builds left and right. Now its not corrupting, but GPS still isnt working. I'll keep working on it as much as I can, but time will be limited because I just got a job that is mon-fri 5-9, and sat 9-5.
But I promise you guys, V3 WILL come, and ALL problems will be fixed! THIS I promise!

I was bored this morning so I made a teaser for V3 while playing in photoshop. V3 is close, just waiting to hear back on something. If we are lucky, V3 will have some packages from the Leo included in, so keep your fingers crossed and hopefully I hear back soon! Also, I just want to say thanks for all your support so far with this ROM. I guarantee that I will continue development for the vogue to the best of my ability until I get a new phone (which probably wont be until 2011, as thats when my contract is up.) You guys are the greatest!

Thanks for your hard work, and thanks for the heads up of the new rom comin up. Your V3 will be the first of your roms for me... and I must say, I'm anxious!!

So, right now I am going to start my V3 Bell build. If it works, boots etc etc I will start the other builds.
DO NOT Expect them to be uploaded tonight.
I'm tired, just got home from work. I'll probably just build them and pack them, and if theres time make a sexy new front page picture to showcase the v3. Builds will be uploaded tomorrow probably sometime after 7PM est because I gotta work tomorrow too.
But hey, at least theres a release date now haha

If you make the FingerKeyb-2.1-QVGA-arrows-Giannis86 version as default instead, under SIPchange, your rom will go further.
You really need to fix the GPS.

OK first things first . . .
I would no way consider myself a COOK, the praise goes to those who designed the tools I used to make my ROM, namely
ERVIUS, BEPE, Gen-Y COOKS etc..​
I made Mr Greedy because​
REASON #1: I was sick of trying new versions of various roms and finding the latest releases of WM6.5 builds poor right up to 23004. I just do not see the massive improvement. The fastest and tightest build I have tried is the one I have used, 21806.
REASON #2: After countless flashing I then needed to spend another hour putting all the stuff I wanted back on SO instead, use ingenious visual kitchens made by utterly more intelligent folk than me to add my stuff, I like stuff
REASON #3: To have some fun and possibly make something crammed with stuff which someone else might think is kinda cool!

I am not a genius cook, I will not be able to fix weird issues which require way more skill than I have. I may be able to give you my own experiences using this rom nevertheless, I will always answer queries as best I can.
Any ideas for STUFF to add welcome just add a link to the file and Mr Greedy will get fatter !
I guess you've noticed, I do not care about prog memory (within limits), we all have 4Gb Int Storage anywayz

can you tell me how much free memory do you have with this rom?

NOT MUCH, Storage 45Mb, Program 25Mb ish, this was not a concern in the build.

This ROM is fine. Nothing amazing. But I'll be keeping it.
You could do with tidying up the start menu though.
The apps pre-loaded on there are actually quite good.

that's a very good idea.i like to have the programs in different folders,such as Tweaks,Programs,System and GPS so i can find the app i want much faster.

TOOK THE LINK DOWN FOLKS SINCE I HAVE HAD SOME REBOOTING PROBLEMS
Sing Mr Greedy I have flashed Dutty, Energy and also Gen-Y because I was having some problems with S2U2. Well not I have a hardware issue with the phone when turned off.
Basically it will not turn back on unless I charge it with the mains, no lights at all on the phone, it gets warm then weirdly, unplug the mains remove the battery, replace battery and then turn it on and it comes back to life. I am rather frustrated by the whole thing!
This EVEN happens when you soft reset the phone from perfectly normal working state with, for example, psshutXP and select reboot
Phone nearly tossed out of window . . .
Hence, the link to Mr Greedy remains down until I figure out what is causing this power from off problem, I do NOT want to be the reason to others having this problem.

Yeah I had the same problem.
Lets hope you find the cause.
