Hi all,
I've customized a WM6 ROM for HERMES which has chinese/japanese supported. It is based on the dopod test ROM floating around : )

otherwise, I may use the WM6 built-in SIP dumped from a CHS version.

yay!! please add pinyin!! im learning chinese (and japanese also)... so that way i can use this as a tool too

bluetooth stereoheadset problem
my bluetooth headset is itech S28, when phone ring, i cannot hear the voice from headset, only vv... sound... I can listen the voice when i use other wm6 rom

Gosh the file sharing link the poster posted is probably one of the worst ones i've seen in a long long long time!

I have been using it for few days and it runs smoothly on my x01ht. Yet i would like to have the following improvements in your next release:
1) Add VoIP.cap
2) Include a PinYin SIP which could pop out traditional chinese rather than simplified chinese.
3) Unhide the uninstall options for all built-in apps
Looking forward for your next release!!

the chinese handwriting seems to take up alot of memory and would freeze my pda once in a whle, thn i have to soft reset

I honestly think that the Monster Chinese SIP is the most stable one....

I have been trying other WM6 roms and don't seem to work with CE-Star and cause freezes.
This is very nice to have chinese input integrated into the WWE Rom, this is exactly what i need!! Thanks very much for your work.

i have some bluetooth problem when using this rom,
when i am listening music in my stereo bluetooth headset, sometime when the call in, i cannot listen the call through headset, i have to cancel the headset and listen directly to phone, do you have this problem?

Just install this ROM, and before any software install, everythink work fine...
Try with radio 1.46.30.11 for the moment.
Memory:
Storage => 62MB free after unused ringtones removal
Program => 30MB free
Network:
WiFi work fine, quick connection and good signal reception
BT work also fine.
3G HSDPA work fine too.
A few questions so far...
Do you insert some tweaks ???
From witch ROM come your release ? The official one or a specific release from one of our Guru's ???

no tweaks only deleting some things!
it is based at the latest dopod WM6-Rom nothing else.

No, I currently use Omega One Calendar One, but it use too much memory for me... min 1,4Mb
I'm looking for an agenda software using less memory when loaded, as agenda and contact softwares are always running on my PDA.
I use contactbreeze as contact application, very usefull for only 450Kb memory...
Pocket Informant is not enough "simple" for my needs. I know, i'm complicated...

Yes and no, I can make VOIP calls trought wifi, but not with the earpiece, only via rear speaker or wired headset, but I live with that as I use VOIP only when I'm into my office @home, and I've build a home made cradle that give me simultanous headset and activsync connections.
As I know, VOIP using earpiece is a BIG problem on trinity due to some HTC hardware "limitation/specificity" , like the answering machine one...

You had me going for a minute. Strange thing the VoIP on the Trinity. the problem is with routing the incoming voice, obviously. I have had it working. after a clean ROM flash and clean VoIP install - I got it working once. then stops. This has happened to me on two occasions - so not a freak - but something comes and screws it up. Oh well...

Yes you right, but if HTC ****ed the incoming sound routing due to a hardware bug, whe're in the ****...
Hope this is only a driver or software problem, and not a hardware lock for some stupid "privacy protection" reasons...

During next days I will post some screenshot of my P3350 running your ROM, but heavily customized with some mods after flashing, demostrating your cocked ROM's flexibility. Then I'll post a list of products that I have installed e verified to be fully compatible.
I am also developing something to have weather's previsions fully based on italian meteo, instead of world generic meteo. As result we will have prevision with high precision and with a level of detail down to little country. As meteo base I am evaluating "http://www.tempoitalia.it/", "http://www.ilmeteo.it/"..

I'm waiting to see the result, good idea use an Italian weather instead of world; in fact I've disabled this function becouse too low precise...

Ah...that's why meteo doesn't work
No problem for me....I use WeatherPanel and it's the best program for weather....It's possible to integrate this program on Htc Home? It would be wonderful....

I'm trying to test GPS on Vogue - er I mean have all the files and settings ready for when the ROM comes out... I was using some reg info I found on PPCGeeks, and I could use that serialgps.dll file - May I get a copy off you, that is if you have a working copy... please, and TIA.

yes, it needs englification - but unfortunately if you use yues englification cab the yue rom dialer is installed as well!
twolf big clock for yue works fine, xda team enlarged start menu as well

please can someone list the applications in this ROM so I can decide...more screenshots would be welcome as well.

I've installed it and it looks and feels ok, only problem i'm having so far is that the M2DC keeps crashing when i untick certain tabs that i want taken off.
anyone know any solutions??

So far this rom is a keeper for me, but soon there will be a new gullum's rom out and that surely will be a killer.

If a french member is motivated or if someone could explain how to translate easily this rom that would be very nice !

when I click "Add Receipt" for send a sms.
I find only contact in mobile.

Everything looks great, it is one of the fastest ROMs that I have ever used in my Artemis. But I have a strange problem with the dialer. The call status window does not show the top row which has "speakerphone on" and other options. It only shows the bottom row with "Notes", "Contacts" and "Talk/End". The top row is blackened out. Anyone else has seen this?
PS - After flashing, I installed YuE_ENG_keyb_cont_dial_v9[1].1.cab to change the dialer and contacts to English. Not sure if it is a problem with this particular cab

I have the same problem. Also the memory drain is much more when compared to Yue with Manilla

sorry if this makes you feel stupid - have you copied accross your contacts using sim manager? Sim manager (not used this rom but its prolly somewhere under programs) select all them click sim to contacts.
I'm not running this rom so no idea if the obvious solution works...

I have this problem aswell. To be honest i nver noticed it until i read your post. I also flashed the same cab aswell !

having run this rom for the last week, i have to say : immaculate!
- really fast even though its manila integrated- dropped yue`s extraclean for it!
- fine battery management - after this weeks working with it, radio off overnight, i am left with 39% ( 40 min phoning, listening to music, playing a bit- in comparison to yue manila this is a 50% increase )
-i cant find any drop in memory
-yes, the englification cab muddles the dialer up, but once you install pdg-clean dialer-or any other, this is resolved.

slide phone canavas with no sleep
htc diamond phone skin

(and some games I like)
The ROM is working perfectly till now, very stable, did not have any bugs that I discovered yet, battery life is amazing.
I also added hebrew support and it works great !

*could you guys add the new HD manila instead ?
* TF3D slide is in blue, how can I make it original color (or if you could change it, would be nice)
*I tried adding FLIPIT by wildberry but I couldnt configure it to work good, everytime It would flip the screen and then back it would come back to the home screen automaticly (if you could implement it with this ROM, it would be great, or at least tell me how to fix it)
*could you add call history tab in the tf3d ? (or tell me how to do it ?)
