Hi there,
Does anybody know of a way to bind the hardware wheel of the Hermes with the volume sliders in WM6 when not in a call? When calling it works perfectly for volume, but when not in a call, I first have to tap the volume icon in order to put the phone on vibrate or completely silent.
Thanks

I am using an 8125 with Slide2Unlock and the Iphone dialer pad. Even with the standard dialer phone pad, if I want to stop using the headset during a call I must use the menu button at the bottom and select "Turn Hands-free off".. There are times that I do not want to use my BT headset or vehicle hands free unit. I would like to know if anyone had extracted that command and if it could be placed on the "in call" dialer skin as a hot button, like hold or mute, without having to go through the menu to access it. I don't need anything fancy that toggles the bluetooth on/off, in fact I would like to leave that unaffected. Simply a command that shortens the finger strokes of going through the in call menu and setting the handfree status.
Thanks in advance to brain tank.....
Does anybody have any ideas????? Please would really like an app like this....
Please Please...really want an app like this but I have no idea how to make one.
Thanks
have you tried holding down the green call button whilst in a call? Works on my SPV M1000 to turn speaker phone on....

Speaker phone is not my issue, I want to toggle between Headset and Handset while in a call. Like pressing menu/Handfree off.

I tested a today plug-in which did it, unfortunately I don't remember the name. AFAIK it is the only software capable of doing it while in a call, so.... hope you'll find it
heya again.
i've got a P3300 with HTC WM6 (but same happened with WM5)
i was used from my older phones to get this options when a call was incomming:
- answer
- cancel (busy)
- ignore (mute)
now i am missing this last option. sometimes when i get a call, i want to just ignore it, mute the phone (and stop the vibration too) but without giving the caller a "busy" sign.
is that somehow possible?
use the volume slider button and slide downwards
yeah its the volume slider on the top left of the phone
well to clarify as others might get confused like i did.
when ppl. sais "use the volume slider" they don't mean to just slode down the volume. no
i've found out that if i wanted to ignore a call, i just had to tap the slider once, to mute the incomming call and turn of vibration. and it wont affect any sort of volume settings for next incomming calls.
so, thx for your replies, guys.
during an incoming call i have no option to silent the call and i've tried to use the jogger as addressed in the other posts thus double tapping in the middle of the up and down key on the jogger or press and hold the middle of the up and down key on the jogger but it doesnt seem to solve the problem.the registry keys are set as they should be in order to silence an incoming call but nothing has changed.ive seen a rose incoming call screen cab for excalibur which has the option to silence the call by pressing the right soft key but the link is broken.im using alekss wm6.5 rom.does anyone know how to fix this problem
I did that on my Tornado by pressing volume down key. Where is it in Excalibur ?
at Night, my parents are asleep and often my phone isnt on Vibrate. So the ringer keeps on buzzing. (I just want to make phone silent during incoming call rather cut it off). Its driving me nuts
And running my fingers over JOGGER doesnt help. (JOGGER should serve as VOLUME control right? since I have set it to be usable as volume control)
Some one please help me! (not any of the buttons on keyboard does make phone silent during incoming ringer)
did u tried double click on the jogger bar during call... in my if i click twice it helps me to control the volumn..
I've noticed a few people seem to have a problem with their volume in their headsets, but with my phone i can't adjust the volume during calls at all, headset or otherwise. i press the volume buttons, and the slider appears on screen going up and down, but even when i reduce it to minimum, the volume remains earsplittingly loud.
anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!
