"sim card unavilable" any one know why

explain what happened , did u upgrade ur rom ???????? does it say sim card missing , or doesn't recognize the sim card ....... pm me .... i'll have a solution right away

MY HTC Love suddenly cant read my sim CARD. it says "Sim Card is missing" please help me fixed this problem. and now my rom is HTC Artemis 1.1v Vanila. and i used radio 1.1.1 cmon

maybe not unlock your phone, here use ARTEMIS Unlock to solve it

been there and done that
guys, you need to:
take sim out
put sim in
turn on device
repeat
*seriously! this is not a joke..
*if it still wont read your sim:
scratch the contacts on the sim (scratch the metal part of the sim)
now scratch the pins on the device that the sim connects to
*this is incase they are dirty with dust etc
this should sort your problem

Sim unlock

I put in the request to Tmobile to get the unlock code for my Dash , once i get it how do i unlock it? I tried to find a thread on this but have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated..... Thanks

Put a non T-Mob SIM card in and switch the phone on, a message will come up and there will be a dialog where you can enter the unlock code.

Thanks for the info... I am having a problem flashing a custom rom and i was told in another thread that sim unlocking my Dash might help .Everytime i try to flash a rom i get an error that says ...cant find update utility or the image is corupt.

So i will give it a try when i get home from work.

Being SIM unlocked will make no difference for flashin custom ROM apart from the being able to use another SIM...

Can't unlock sim card

Hello ,
For beggining sorry for my bad english , it's not my first language
I give you my problem : i can't unlock my sim card even if i type the correct number it says. Wrong combinations 3 retries left ( something like this )
If I try after this the number of retries is always 3 and not unlock my sim card .
I already change the ROM , the kernel and format all my phone it doesn't work . ( I also try to blow on the sim port ).
I tried this sim on an other phone and it work . I'm French so I use" b and you" operator .
I hope you will fine the good solutions
And thank to the people who are interest to my problem and try to help me

try different sim card.

flash modem and see if sth change.
beside, you didn't provide any info. why and when it happened.
Be more specific and then somebody will help

[SOLVED] This phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked

As the title says my phone is hard sim locked.. I am not hopeful but i will try my luck with asking here..
Is there anyone faced this problem and solved it ?
I dial 2945 #*855# and all of the options are not possible to enter any IMEI. all of the says "This phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked"
I tried putting a sim card different from my provider but it doesn't ask any unlock code to enter and 2945 #*855# is the same..
It happened after flashing a custom rom and it f**** my phone. Also i can't afford to any other phone, i am a student
So I would be glad if anyone can help me to resolve my issue. I believe I will never forget him/her.

Losing the IMEI code is the worst thing that may happen to a modder.
Try to connect device to PC and follow this procedure to put it in stock conditions.
However I'm much pessimistic about the recovering of IMEI code, try and hope to solve the issue.

I did that process to but no luck for me.
But thanks to @faurfaur he recovered my imei by connecting with teamviewer and it is done like in 10 minutes :good: If anyone has this problem contact him
