Does anyone know about some DVB-T SD-Cards that are compatible with the Uni?

Not seen any so far. Compatability may be an issue. I just found a DVB-T based card reader capable of reading SD card, not really what you require but do have a look.

That's quite impressive
i've seen thread about that here. try search. someone was testing it already
DVB-H
DVB-H is currently being tested in Ireland, the nokia N93 has it, so it is mobile suitable, so is there any way to add it on the universal ???

Anyone know if an RS232 cable is available for the Jasjar yet or have I got to use one of these awful RS232/USB convertors?
Regards
did you ever get a lead that worked ? I can't find one and I'm trying to work out if I can hack my old IPAQ one up. cheers

A converter isn't going to work. They all require a USB Host port.
yes
also interested into this old fashionned but necessary tool to console to routers for example.
so up for this topic
I am interested also.
I was thinking about this a while back though. I think the only way this is going to work really is through a bluetooth or IR adapter.
Obviously those would require external power. Doing it with an IR adapter should be relatively easy to program, something along the lines of a PIC 16F64 or 18F452 would be more than enough. However, would it be usable? When controlling a router I would like to use the keyboard. The IR points dirctly towards the user.
However, I have little experience in how BT works, so would not be able to even think on how that would work.

Perhaps this might point you in the right direction...

Its a guide to making a GPS IRDA but I'm sure it could be suitably modified.
Bluetooth to usb
How about this: http://www.neteon.net/cat.aspx?clvl=3&c1=1&c2=177&c3=107
It's a serial to Bluetooth dongle. I don't see any WM drivers but I would think that the bluetooth stack on the latest "cooked" ROMS would support serial host since that is what most bluetooth GPS receivers use.
If it wheren't for the $108 price tag I would grab one of these myself and see if it worked.
Maybe in a few weeks. If someone else gets a chance to try this one, please post here and let us know.
It seems there is some understanding out there that a couple of ROM cookers have made WM6 roms compatible with SDHC cards. However, with my stock O2 XDA Orbit, I found under the registry, HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\SDHC. The entry refers OMPA850_SDHC.dll and other settings such as ControllerIRQ, SDIOPriority and the dll file actually exists under the windows dir (43472 bytes)!
Does that mean O2's ROM has already got the driver? Or is that common to all P3300? And most importantly, has Orbit owner actually tried a SDHC card to prove it does or doesn't work? so if anyone can borrow a 4Gb card, probably from a Nokia N95 owner, and give it a go, that'll be great, I'm searching for a card too.
Amazon offers 4GB Cards

But I have to wait till next month cause I am a poor student

I believe that "SDHC" means in this context "Secure Digital Host Controller", and not "Secure Digital High Capacity". As far as I Know every P3300 has that entry in the registry and the library OMAP850_SDHC.dll...
It doesn't mean that 4 GB SDHC don't work in our device, and in fact I'm interested also in knowing experiences of users with that kind of memory cards
Sorry for my horrible english

Sandisk microSDHC 4GB donĀ“t work on MDAc III with WM5.

Oh yes, this makes sense. I may have to switch to a WM6 rom for it. But when my gf gets the HTC Touch, I'll see if I can copy the SD driver from there
BTW, your english is pretty good too!
It is confirmed the Android port for Blueangel work on Harrier!!!

I agree :fingers-crossed:
Wifi for Android Harrier
As the bootloader of the forthcoming Android version supports SDHC up to 16GB, the following card may be a solution:

Unfortunately, the Eye-Fi cards do not support SDIO and does not expose the Wi-Fi circuitry to the host. The host only sees a regular SDHC card. The wireless ability of the card is completely isolated from the host and is controlled by the MCU on the card. Neither the host nor the onboard MCU knows what the other is doing. The only thing Eye-Fi can do for the Harrier is let us copy photos taken on it wirelessly to the internet or to a PC running proprietary Eye-Fi software.

Thank you. Wish your answer wouldn't be this disappointing... Found it on some fotographer site, and of course they don' care if their device uses WiFi. From the decriptions i found i couldn't tell if communication outside this Eye-Fi browser would be possible
Does anyone have information about those USB-Pinouts on Harrier motherboard?
I only can find information about the common jack pinouts.
Technically there should be no big difference between connecting a built-in wifi-device
and the connection of my gps' usb-jack for charging purposes.
As Harrier already has GPS, we could use the space for wifi.

you mean something like this?
or better here?
Sorry, no- those are the pins i already know.
(And which i'll try to use for my charging project.)
Notime2d8 lately wrote something about USB pins on serial port.
Now i'd like to know if there's a second possibility to connect
or if i just took him wrong...
Are you saying Harrier has a built-in USB host that's not connected to the outside world?

I was referring to:
13 USB_VDD
14 UDC+
15 UDC-
16 GND
I don't know if they can be swithed to host mode or where they run, But on the universal i can switch these from client to host but its only for the lines running to the processor. If they're connected to the ati chip it won't work.
Ok, so i really took you wrong.
Can anyone who has been successful with getting a Bluetooth dongle to work with otg share what brand and model they have used.
I want to get one but have been reading reviews on amazon for differ rent models that express concern with working in Linux. So I am assuming that the same issues would exist with android
Thanks in advance
I don't believe any work yet. I tried two of mine, one of which is a generic broadcom and it is detected but doesn't work... btw, this should be in q&a
I choose to purchase in Amazon
so nobody got it to work until now?
Hi!
I have been looking a lot in cracking a Mifare Classic 1k card that is used for a transportation system in sweden. The thing is that I've tried to find a way to us emy phone nfc reader but I can't get it to work.
I have now started to look for a recommended nfc reader and I find that ACR122U is the best one for the job, I also encountered another one which seems to be able to read the same cards (SCL3711). The question is, is SCL3711 compatible with "nfclib" and those programs or should I buy the ACR122U?
SCL3711 is compatible with libnfc as you can see in this matrix http://nfc-tools.org/index.php?title=Devices_compatibility_matrix and I can confirm to myself because I have one.
What is nfclib?
