Artemis touch ROM for example, is not an official release. There isn't any official release with WM6.1 for Artemis.
These "cooked" ROMs are from other devices and adapted to our.

So, yes, this is Simplified Chinese ROM.
CHS = Chinese Simplified
CHT = Chinese Traditional (used by Taiwan, Hong Kong)

The official release is again postposned in Taiwan and China due to bugs in the current stock rom's (memory leak etc)
This was confirmed today by the HTC official shop (Care) here in TW.
If your's is cooked from CHT release with bugs, what to expect?

that's strange.
i just registered my diamond on the hongkong site but i couldn't find any download for the rom version you were saying.
That is the chinese version (not english version that released in early June) release today.

Apparently, there is . Press releases from www.dopod.com. But it is not yet release on the Chinese market.
It is known as Dopod S900.

For what HTC told me here (wondering how that Rom was out) they said it still ha bugs on OBEX and memory leak. (you migh try yourself of course)
request for Hong Kong English version ROM 1.37.707.1
Have any experts here dump the ROM 1.37.707.1 Hong Kong version? The South East Asia 1.37.707.1 version is nice but lacks the Hong Kong Regional Setting??? Wierd & it just don't feel right at all, would be nice to have the oem signed version.
& I just heard the latest release of this Hong Kong English version was just released few days ago. So I can also restore it as if OEM without voiding warranty.

I'm sitting at the office, i didn't check which OS Version is on that release, but i still can remember that the first and only one ROM released by o2 for the XDA Orbit was not so useful at all.
The OS language is German, that release bring the opportunity to recover your Diamond in case of warranty issues.

I downloaded the UK ROM but cannot use it because I have a DXHD1 rom in my phoone which is apparently Singapore

What makes you think that they are branded? Anyhow they are definitely WM 6.1. Italy was there for awhile but they just posted Nordic 2 days ago and UK yesterday.

I have DXHD1 too! from Philippines. You mean this can't be updated to 6.1 forever? Is there hope that samsung is still working for it??

..guys you really ough to READ the i780 threads.. WE have Windows Mobile 6.1 ROMs since july last year... and also OFFICIAL WM 6.1 ROM's from Samsung... and they ALL can be downloaded from XDA

It's not just about the 6.1. I'm more interested about the latest firmware that accompanies it
I currently have DXHE1 installed. Can anyone enlighten me as to how i can install the new official 6.1 rom?
