Heey people,
I've got a dutch t-mobile mda pro, i have unlocked it and used the latets t-mobile dutch rom on it.
Now is my question: I feel it is time to once again update and t-mobile probably won't update the pro any more because they pulled it out of the stores in the Netherlands.
So my question is which rom should I use (and a way for my t-mobile configuration for gprs umts mms and so on to be put back)
And what sort of programs do you guys propose (tt6 gets on it so please remeber that) and please when you name a program give a description of it.
And what other kind of update do you propose like registry hacks or something of the like
with greetz and anticipation,

Hey guys, i am new here, just unlocked my german t-mo mda mail (=dash) and wanted to update it to wm6...just the thing is that i want to keep the german keyboard layout, is there a regedit that makes that possible? furthermore i wanna know whether it supports german as a menu language in general?
thanks for help !
Hi,
I have a german XDA Cosmo, unlocked and updated with WM6.
There's no german language, only US English.
But I wanna try to copy the language files from german HTC Vox to english XDA Cosmo, don't know if it will work ...

alright..mh, so do u think there might be a possibility to do it in this way? cause, i dun really think T-Mobile germany will release a german WM6 in nearer future...wont they..
Why you just don't wait a few weeks and get the unbranded European ROM for HTC S620 including German keyboard support and German user interface?
"a few weeks" is relative. Is the release date already scheduled?
HTC anounced something about May/June. But I don't know if they will do exactly what they have promised in their press anouncement...
I'll wait and see!

Will the unbranded Update work on a normal O2 Cosmo (mine is only application unlocked), though?
Thanxx, Mixx
Well thats what i mean, T-Mo suddenly released their WM6, so why shouldnt HTC surprise us as well? the t mobile wm6 is based on the original HTC one, so there has to be an existing HTC wm6 already...i guess it will be as well a surprise update since HTC barely gives any press announcements dont they - fact is: the htc wm6 engine is there - no we need to wait..question is..till when..?
@Mixx: as far as i know...there is no way around the CID unlock, that is only achieved through the complete unlock by imei-check...i did it already, its worth the 38 bucks, seriously..

You don't need an unBRANDED, but an unLOCKED Excalibur.

If you have a solution, please let me know.
CE Star worked for me on both Rogers and HTC wm6 ROM. It displays Chinese as well as allows pinyin input with the full QWERTY keyboard. The Singapore wm5 ROM also works and has a built in IME.
